Beautiful Aruba

The property was wonderful. Great location. The beach is beautiful, pools great and the river was so much fun and relaxing. The amenities were great exactly what stated. The place was immaculate. I'd rent again.

Quiet retreat with amenities

Well designed two bedroom suite. Comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet. Many options for recreation; beach, multiple pools, shuffle board, outdoor grills, restaurant options, nice shops and a fun casino.

Highly recommend

Had not been here for years. The property is great- super clean, spacious rooms, and plenty of space at the pool for our family if 5. We tagged our chairs between 7-730 the first Few days but then realized we didn’t need to. The serenity pool was great. Fitness center is huge with nice equipment and busy but not crowded. We booked thru Adriana Plata who was 100% professional, prompt, and responsive- would book thru her again for sure.

Great place to stay

Love the Surf Club. Pools are great. Beach could use some work though. It feels like the pond fronds all gather under the water on the beach so the sand feels slimy. The palapa and pool chair reservation process needs work! So stressful to try to get online at either 7am or 5:30pm EXACTLY to try to reserve a palapa. If you want a chair around the pool, you need someone to get up before 5 am to get a good location or before 6 to get ANY location. Once that process is out of the way, however, the staff does all they can to make your stay the best!

Paradise in Aruba

Renting from VRBO with Adriana's help was quick and seamless. The communications were very fast and all questions were answered. As for the Marriott Surf Club I love love love it. Very kind and friendly staff. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The grounds, pool, and workout area were perfect for our needs. Would highly recommend Adriana at VRBO and the Marriott Surf Club!

Wonderful family getaway

The accommodations were perfect. The only glitch we had was both rooms were not ready at 4pm, only the smaller one. We had to wait approximately 30 minutes for the second room, then go back to the desk to get our keys reconfigured. Other than that. The resort was top rate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was our second time at the resort. We hope to make a third.

Fantastic Stay

Aruba Surf Club vacation property and location was fantastic walking distance to numerous activities and restaurants. Additionally, Adriana property manager was lovely to deal with as was the Surf Club staff. We would have given 5 stars except for one issue - the view. The 2 bedroom balconies were both adjacent to a rooftop. The rooftop obstructed the view and made it unpleasant to sit on the balcony with trash at same level as the balcony. The roof that touched the balcony was littered with trash, cigarettes, glass bottles, beer cans and miscellaneous garbage. The remaining view was over the busy front parking lot and right above the truck loading zone. We did ask front desk for a change but were informed that property had no other availability. Other than this, the amenities/property were fabulous and we would recommend the Surf Club and Property Manager Adriana.

Owners at this resort are not guaranteed a specific location of the villa, it is assigned at check in, the only guarantee is the view category - garden view in this case. Good resort location, not great unit location

The resort was great, we just wish our 2bdrm balcony unit wasn’t above the property’s dumpsters. It was a bit noisy at times. But, we did have a peek of the ocean from our unit. And, we liked having the full kitchen. We enjoyed the lazy river, especially after 8 pm, when you didn’t have to use a tube, and it was practically empty. If you want to sit poolside during the day, you need to go down to put your chair tags on early, which reserves them for you. By 9 am, most of the best spots were already reserved, as the chairs are set up for social distancing. The staff at the resort was excellent — friendly and helpful. This resort is in very close proximity to many wonderful beachside restaurants, bars, and activities. We did a private snorkeling trip with Octopus, visited the Donkey Sanctuary, the Aloe Factory, Baby Beach, and the California Lighthouse — all fun and worthwhile. The vibe on Aruba is really pleasant — they earn their One Happy Island moniker.

The front desk assigns units at check in, so location depends on availability. Yes this is a busy high demand resort so it’s expected it will be lively and can get crowded at the beach. Amazing vaca!

Beautiful location, perfect for families!

We have a family of 5 and took our parents for a total of 7 people. The two bedroom was more than enough space and the kitchen was very useful. The staff and the property was very helpful and friendly. The pools were very enjoyable and well kept. The walk to the beach was easy/short. The resort was busy but did not feel over crowded. We had a wonderful week and would stay at this property again!
