Quaint 1bed 1bath cottage located just a short walk away from the beach and the river. This newly remodeled second story in Ormond by the Sea is the perfect place for your next Florida getaway. This is a single unit detached from the main house where the owner lives. This unit is completely independent with its own entrance, AC and parking. The driveway is more than large enough to accommodate 3 cars, or 2 cars and a trailer/boat. As well as all your toys; bicycles, kayaks and canoes (no HOA restrictions). The living space is 690 sq feet and can accommodate up to 2 guests It has a brand new king sized bed in the master bedroom , the sofa can accommodate 1 more guest and full kitchen with a microwave, new gas stove/oven, new refrigerator. The living area has a 65 inch television with cable tv and internet. The house is very clean and uncluttered. After a day spent on the beach or kayaking in the river, relax or grill on the private balcony of your Ormond Beach, Florida rental. There is a very nice cement boat launch just down the road with a bait shop.
And most importantly... welcome to paradise.

Sad to leave!

We were nothing but pleased with our stay. The apartment was cute and exactly what we needed. Herve and Joy were there for whatever we needed and so nice! The area was so beautiful being right by the river and just down the road from the ocean. We had tears leaving.

Wonderful Rental

We stayed here for 6 weeks, it was so comfortable and quiet, it felt like we were home. The rental had anything you could think of needing and more. We really enjoyed our stay and our daily walks about the neighborhood and to the beach. So many things close by to do. Herve and Joy were the best hosts anyone could ask for. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Herve and Joy!

A perfect bolthole to plan and execute adventure from

A cozy quiet spot just off of the seashore. At first it was just my wife and I vacationing, but a good friend was invited to come along at the last minute. The listing quoted a sofabed in the Livingroom but had been changed to a leather sofa, so no bed for our friend. He had to rough it on the couch for three weeks but seemed to adapt well! All in all it was a place that became our home and we wouldn't hesitate to go back again!

Great apartment for two

This place was clean and larger than it appears in the pics. It has a full kitchen with large refrigerator with ice maker, stove, 2 coffee makers one being a Keurig, plenty of pots, pans, dishes etc for cooking. I have to eat gluten free low sodium so the kitchen was perfect for me to cook. There is a small screened in porch which has a grill. The living room area has a large flat screen tv that gets many channels. The place is not attached to the main house and has its own private entrance. The beach is within walking distance through a beautiful neighborhood. I walked there just about everyday. Supermarket and stores are only a few miles away down the main road. The only negative is that the WiFi is intermittent. But the apartment is very reasonably priced for what you get. The home owner is very friendly and easy to reach by text or phone. I look forward to staying there again.

The apartment was sufficient and in a nice location. Several amenities listed were not there.

This is the first time that a binder or folder was not available when renting through VRBO. We were on our own to figure out what was expected before departing. The furniture was not as pictured and the patio table and chairs desperately need replacing. Rust pieces fell off every time we used them. A grill, desk chair, beach chairs were not there as listed. We would have used all of those. People on vacation want comfortable furniture not a French settee and ladies chair. The pictures should be updated to display what is actually there.

Great visit

Really great hosts. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Very clean and well go finished place. Nice comfy king sized bed. Big bathroom with a large walk in shower. Kitchen had new appliances and everything you needed to cook meals. Not far to uncrowded Ormond by the sea beaches and right across the street to a canoe/ kayak access. Highly recommended!

Great get-away

Property owners were great. Easy check-in. Perfect rental for a couple. Beautifully decorated, nice use of space. Over garage apt yet totally private. Nice neighborhood, minutes from beach access and great local restaurants. Will make this our go-to when visiting Ormond by the Sea or Daytona.

Sweet little place, close to the ocean.

My wife and I needed to get away from the cold and just relax. We booked this place at the last minute. Hevre (the owner) responded very quickly. He graciously adjusted his plans to meet us earlier when we made better time driving than we expected. The property is nicely decorated and well furnished. They were doing some landscaping in the backyard that our balcony overlooked and since it wasn’t done, they kindly gave us a bottle of wine. To be honest, it didn’t bother us at all. We still had a great view of the sky which was what we wanted. The place is a short walk to the beach and I was able to run along the coast each day. You are also just across the street from the river and a short walk to a nice part to see the sunset. The bed is a very comfortable king size. At first I was afraid I wouldn’t like it b/c it is memory foam and seemed soft but I slept great every night. The bathroom is roomy and has a huge shower. The kitchen is nicely furnished. Since we were the first renters, there were some items that were missing but as soon as we asked they provided them (broom, dishrag, hot pad). There are plenty of glasses, plates, silverware, pots and pans. The TV is nice and the cable worked great. It is a short drive to Ormand Beach. We found several nice restaurants and there is a Publix only 4 miles away. It is an hour drive to St Augustine and 30 minutes to the Daytona Speed Way and the Daytona Airport. Probably the only negative was the weak internet connection. I had just switched my cell service to T-Mobile and the signal was weak there as well so I couldn’t just use my cellular data. Hevre was a great host. He was very friendly and responsive to any requests or needs. At the same time, we had the place completely to ourselves and so enjoyed the peace and quiet. I think as they get into the swing of renting out the property, it will be a 5 star kind of place. We would definitely go back.
