'Busy Doin' Nothin 'ligger inom en enda familjens bostadsområde - ingen av de trånga stränderna, trafik, buller etc. i samband med vissa områden på Gulf Coast.

Restauranger och närbutiker i närheten. Vid senaste räkningen, 13 golfbanor i området, Bon Secure National Wildlife Refuge, Mobile Bay Ferry, Fort Morgan Historic Site, Alabama Birding Trail är alla i närheten. För dem som önskar att "shoppa 'til you drop", Rivera Centre innehåller över 100 fabriken outlet-butiker och ligger i närliggande Foley (cirka 10 miles norr om Gulf Shores).

Världens vackraste stranden ligger cirka 100 kilometer från din dörr. Hemmet har en vagn för din användning i utförandet nödvändiga stranden leveranser, stolar, etc.-varav de flesta finns på hemmet för din användning. Eftersom hem ligger på Fort Morgan halvön är Mobile Bay direkt norr om hem, mindre än en fjärdedel mil bort, och erbjuder fiske, crabbing, shrimping, etc. Hemmet har krabba fällor tillgängliga för dig, du kommer att behöva ta med egen fiskeutrustning. The place was GREAT! Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Clean,and well stocked, even had coffee. The owners contacted us ahead of time with contact information. Then followed up after our stay.Tina was friendly and professional. I really enjoy our chat.First time using Vrbo, Won't be our last

Beautiful weekend stay!

This home is in a great location. Just a short walk to the beach. There are several great restaurants nearby. Felt like home! It was the perfect weekend stay!

Fantastic Location with Plenty of Room!

This property has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living area is huge! It has a large kitchen, packed with everything you need and plenty of space in the dining room. The location is so convenient. Walk by a few houses and you're on the Gulf of America beach. This section of the beach is actually dog friendly (as is the property)! Our little Ewokian (Havanese/Pomeranian) puppy loved the beach! The Tacky Jack seafood restaurant is a few minutes away and not far from Fort Morgan Historical Site (all dog friendly). The Fort Morgan area is so secluded from the tourists and is so quiet, yet close enough to drive to Gulf Shores for souvenirs and shopping. We'll be back!

WARNING!!! Nightmare Experience All Together

House was furnishing are garage sale quality. Dirty dishes in cabinets. Kitchen stove hood super filthy. Stairs are very unstable without proper rails for handicapped. Refrigerator was not working properly and has a note on it to the fact. Both refrigerators went out during 1st day. There was no where to put cold items. Ice chest had to be purchased. The main refrigerator was semi-cool on arrival. The note on refrigerator explain not to overload or keep open. I placed my insulin in the door and shut it. When I returned 3 hours later the refrigerator was hot as was my insulin. I notified owner and she sent repair man and her husband next morning. The husband apologized and brought ice for refrigerator. He inspected the hot refrigerator. Repair man came and clean dirty coils and stated refrigerator should cool down after a few hours and not to use till then. The repairman gave me a businesscard in case the refrigerator did not cooldown. The owner apologized and stated she would cover the cost of medication ruined. Now that I am home, the owner states there was nothing wrong with both refrigerators and I am after her money. Sad way to treat people but money is obviously an issue for this owner. To blame renters for know issues. Don’t trust these people with your vacation, find another property. WARNING

Nice....

Communication with the Owner was easy. Location was easy to find, and it was a short nice walk to the beach. Lots of room in the Kitchen/ Dining Room and Living Room. The whole area is very dog friendly. It should be noted the fourth bedroom is not a Queen and 2 twins, it is just a Queen bed. The floor in the master bathroom was not clean, but it seemed like everything else was. The stairs were a little shaky, which can happen over time at the beach, anyone who is not sure footed may have a hard time on them. Mostly my only warning is that the master bath is aggressively orange, lol. Be warned when you turn on the lights. All that being said, I would rent it again. It would make a great week or more stay, for a group of no more than 8, it has plenty of room for everyone!

Indecisive owner

The property was fine, although there was sand in one of the beds and a towel full of someone's hair, but overall okay. However the owner (who consented to us bringing 5 dogs, which I paid an extra fee for) tried to cancel my trip less than 24 hours prior to our arrival for a Christmas vacation. I assured her that they were well behaved. Apparently she expected a SPOTLESS place when we left. I got none of my deposit back. If you're bringing pets just a warning - make sure they don't shed!!!!

A Standing Ovation!

We loved our month stay at Busy Doin’ Nothin’!!! It was perfect for us and our dogs. The house was well stocked, clean and nicely furnished. The back yard was great for our dogs. The location was awesome—just a couple hundred steps to the beach. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with our neighbors and several others who come every October. We had a little hiccup with our WiFi. The owner was immediately on top of it. We were sad to leave today, but we will definitely be back.

Family vacation

We rented this house to meet family members. Tha house was wonderful it was roomy and close to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and beach is very family friendly and clean. The hosts were friendly and quickly responded to all our inquiries prior to our stay. Would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Most Amazing Beach House!

Our family had an incredible vacation/ baseball tournament! This home was spacious, clean with amazing quiet beach access just about a football field from front door to sand! Comfy beds, nice size kitchen open to the dining area and living room. Lots of fun beach things, enjoyed some and added to the collection! Loved the covered parking, in the ground grill, outdoor shower and hose to keep the sand down in the house. The 3 full baths made it easy to clean up after the beach, tile floors throughout were easy to sweep up, laundry area was nice and bright and the berber carpet was a bonus touch in the bedrooms. Overall, very nice for a very away vacation! Thanks Tina and Joe!

Mostly Good

First, the good- -the A/C is a workhorse. The A/C kept us cool the whole stay! -Location is perfect! Close to the beach. -comfortable beds -wagon, beach things, nets, and crab traps provided!!! -Tina is great and very responsive. Side note- the starter supplies were more than expected due to previous reviews and enough to get us started on our stay. Issue- -there was visible dog hair on the floors and sheets of one bed. Tina took steps to resolve the issue and I am satisfied with the solution. Overall the good outweighs the one issue and I would return again!

We are native Alabamians. We live in Tallassee, Alabama.
Joe and I enjoy actively participating in our Church, traveling with our friends, boat rides on Mobile Bay, fishing and shrimping, riding the ferry to Dauphin Island, bike rides in the Fort Morgan and Dauphin Island area, and enjoying the prettiest beach in the world- here in Ft. Morgan!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The Fort Morgan area reminds us of how Gulf Shores was forty (40) years ago- prior to the proliferation of condos. Ft. Morgan is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the pristine white sandy beach, salt air, and the ever-present Gulf breezes; a community of single-family homes, with great neighbors and friends.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Only a short walk (less than 100 yards- length of football field) from the house to the beach. Our street (Bernard Court East) actually dead ends onto the beach- there is no cutting through other property owner's yards, or walking down the beach front road east or west to access the 'public' areas. The Gulf and Bay views (when leaves are off the trees in the Fall and Winter) can be enjoyed from the front deck. Since the house is located about a 1/4 mile away from Fort Morgan Marina, and approximately a mile from the Ft. Morgan historic site with public boat launch and fishing pier (to be remodeled in the coming year), there are a lot of fishing and boating activities available- we enjoy shrimping and fishing in Mobile Bay. .
