The campground is 1.5 miles from the RT 14 Turnoff. This remote and beautiful wood cabin offers guests the chance to escape Urban life for peace, privacy and seclusion in beautiful rural Wyoming with endless wonderful opportunities close by for outdoor activities and day trips. This spacious comfortable cabin home has 2 bedrooms (1 KING and 1 Queen), a bathroom (no tub) and loft with additional beds. Linens and towels provided. Spacious enough for sleeping arrangements for up to 6 people with over 1,000 square feet of open living space. It is the perfect accommodation choice for a family or group of close friends out for a rejuvenating Wyoming escape. The cabin is powered by gas with generator if needed and has a kitchen with a gas powered refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, stove and outdoor gas grill. Immerse yourself in the rawness of rural Shell, Wyoming. The community is named for the abundance of fossil shells located in the area. While our 100 + year old log cabin itself is quiet and secluded, you'll find endless opportunities close by for outdoor activities and day trips with your friends and family. Located in Shell, Wyoming -minutes from the Big Horn National Forest. The area's nearby extensive trail system is ideal for 4 wheeling and off-roading. Additionally, numerous back-country roads allow access to the array of surrounding geological features. Other popular outdoor activities throughout the Bighorn Mountain Range include big-game hunting, fishing, mountain biking, birding and hiking.

We also own A Western Rose Motel in Cody, WY, an hour from the East Gate and another VRBO in Cooke City, MT, less than 2 miles from the NE gate (Lamar Valley) of Yellowstone National Park.

For someone that wants to get lost in nature, howl at the moon, see every star in the sky and enjoy the deafening sound of peace and quiet. Because of the elevation, you can get a cell signal and basic TV channels.
