The condominium complex 'Villa Alejo' is located at 277 E. Alejo Road at the corner of Alejo Road and Indian Canyon Drive, one block from Palm Canyon Drive (downtown Palm Springs). It is just 2 blocks from the Spa Casino and 4 blocks from the Convention Center. The unit available is as follows: Unit 107 - Two-bedroom, two-bath condominium. Large patio with table, chairs and chaise lounge. Steps to large, heated pool with lounge chairs and spa. Foam float for use in pool and card games and books included in unit. King-size bed in master bedroom, 2 twin beds in second bedroom. There is a queen-size sleeper/sofa in the living room as well as a DVD/CD player. There's also a small library of movies. The unit has air-conditioning, two televisions both with basic and extended cable-TV channels (e.g., CNN, Headline News, ESPN, CNBC, MSNBC), phones with message machine and a computer with printer/copier/scanner and free high-speed (cable modem) Internet service to send/receive e-mail and surf the web. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. Walk downtown (only one block to Palm Canyon Drive). Unlike other condos, there's no need to hop in your car all the time with this place.

The unit is equipped with linens, towels, iron and ironing board and full kitchen: refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster-oven, toaster, coffee-maker, blender, electric mixer, coffee bean grinder, crockpot, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. You may park in the underground garage using remote opener or in the guest parking lot on the west side of the building. Besides the large, heated pool and spa, there is a separate men's and women's sauna and a gas barbecue. Exercise equipment like a stair-master, treadmill and weights are available outside the sauna as well as a library of paperback books. A well-behaved pet is OK; smoking on patio only please. I can accept CREDIT CARD (Visa / MasterCard / Amex) payments through PayPal, but prefer personal check. Palm Springs has excellent weather; a great way to escape the winter, of course. Night life and restaurants are great. Besides that it offers a wide range of activities, annual, monthly and weekly events and beautiful mountain and desert vistas.

What makes this condo unique

This condominium complex is only a one-block walk to downtown Palm Springs allowing you to experience all the shops, restaurants, bars and cultural life without a car. My unit is ground-floor and has a large patio with direct access to the pool, spa, BBQ and exercise room/sauna.

Location, Location, Location!

This beautifully kept two-bedroom, two-bath condo is within walking distance of all downtown Palm Springs shops and restaurants. We went out every day and had no use for the car we brought. If you do have a car, there's nice, safe, cool underground parking available or, if the weather was mild, we would just use the guest parking lot outside. The second location advantage is where the condo is located within the complex. It's on the ground floor so no need to use stairs or elevator. The patio has a gate that opens to a pathway leading to the pool and jacuzzi/hot tub. Many other units need to walk around from a corridor, to lobby and finally the pool. Everything you might possibly need is in the unit including a full-size washer and dryer. Most other units use the communal laundry room. There's even a new computer for your use as well as high-speed cable wi-fi for those bringing their own devices. The patio even has a BBQ for your use. The patio is south-facing, which is good in both summers (where it gets little exposure to the sun) and in winters (where it gets more exposure to the sun). We spent many afternoons and evenings on the patio which looks out to the beautiful courtyard with manicured lawn and flowers. Look to your left from the patio and you see the pool and jacuzzi/hot tub.

stay was great.

thought the stay was great with plenty o f room to move to move around. beds were very clean and comfy.only one small problem with the slinding door. It kept coming off track. started to be a pain but was handled. would deffenely do again thanks steve

Very enjoyable weekend!

The condo is a large 2br/2ba, moderately clean, not remodeled. It is an older complex near town. The underground parking is a bonus with the Palm Springs temperatures, and since it is walking distance from downtown, your car is not really needed, if you plan to stay local. The owner is reachable quickly by email & provides very detailed info on EVERYTHING you need, from parking to unit keys to local restaurants, etc. The complex pool was absolutely gorgeous, uncrowded & kept at a stable temp. The other tenants are very nice too.

Amazing vacation rental

David's condo provided my college roommates and I with a great spot to hang out for our mini reunion, with a very convenient location from which to explore the Palm Springs area. Since we went in September while it was still in the high 90's - low 100's, it was great to have an air-conditioned condo with a pool to escape the heat. The kitchen was very well stocked, including non-perishable food items (sugar, spices, cooking oil, etc). Best of all, the nightly rate was very reasonable - my friends had never used VRBO and couldn't believe what a great deal we got.
