Palm Springs stay

Great location with access to restaurants within walkable distance. The unit is comfortable and nicely furnished. Communication with Steven, the property manager was excellent as he gave recommendations to restaurants nearby. A wonderful stay!

Perfect Palm Springs Location

Comfy condo in a friendly and immaculate complex with underground parking. Super quiet, close to downtown and the convention center. The owner is responsive, accommodating and communicates clearly. Decor could use a little updating, but all in all an excellent value and a great place to stay!

Exactly as expected

Steven is super thorough and communicative! Everything was clean and as pictured in the listing. Bed is comfy, love the couch, cute veranda to enjoy the evenings. Comes with everything you could need. Pool was perfect temp and clean. Property was very quiet and secure.

Apartment close to downtown

Lovely apartment in a secure complex, with secure parking. It is an older development so it does have some character and quirks. There is a well equipped kitchen if you fancy a night in. Entertainment set up on the TVs, so plenty of choice. Bed is comfortable and you’ll get a good night’s sleep. Very quiet at night too. It’s a short walk from downtown (10 mins). The host made the check in a breeze, and was super helpful with suggestions. Really enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Would not stay here again.

The stove is very old. 2 of the burners did not work. Overall the unit was not that clean. The shower pressure is minimal and inconsistent. Hot water tap in main bathroom dripped. Couch old and run down. Outdoor furniture was not clean. Pads on the chairs old and fraying. Ceiling light cover was cracked.

Hi Heidi, sorry you did not have a good experience. It's always disheartening to hear a guest is unhappy, which is certainly not what we're used to. Would have been great to hear from you during your stay, especially regarding the burners. Likely they may have come loose during a cleaning, which happens with electric stoves sometimes. Generally a quick fix. And I would have been happy to have a the housekeeper come by if she missed something. And thanks for letting me know there is a drip in the bathroom and a small crack in the cieling light cover so they can be repaired.

Owner Steven clearly doesn't care about his condo that he's owned for over 20 yrs (he shared how long he has owned the place) I met a nice couple by the pool who stayed in his condo in 2022 and complained about multiple issues. I discovered this very quickly that he hadn't addressed anything. I mentioned this to him and he got defensive. What a joke Wall paper peeling off living room wall, molding rotting shower stall, closet doors falling off, kitchen drawers old and falling apart, stove elements not properly fiiting in the spaces (comments from pool friends) which clearly he never addressed. Just really disappointed in the run down shape of his condo and he clearly has zero interest in investing in a few $$'s for some lipstick on this wornout way over priced place. Shame on you Steven...what a joke! Other that The Deauville is an awesome well cared for property with great people looking after the property as well as great people poolside. Been coming down for 10+ yrs and will continue to but not at this guys place...

A relaxing vacation with many options of activities

My flight arrived at 12:30pm and I asked for a 2pm check in which was granted. My adult daughter joined me for the trip a day later. The unit is dated but functional and the bed mattress was very comfortable. The kitchen has every utensil you will need including several corkscrews. We spent little time in the unit because we took advantage of the lovely balcony and its view. That's where we worked online and had breakfast and lunch. The grounds are well cared for and well landscaped. The grounds include dan abundance of bougainvillea, cacti, bottlebrush and lemon and orange trees. The smell of oranges permeates the air. The community is quiet, making the experience a perfect retreat from the hectic world. There's a fitness center and three pools with hot tubs. The residents will welcome you and say hello. As I was walking my dog, many residents introduced themselves to me and asked about my dog. These chats were short but made me feel very comfortable and welcomed in the community. WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING! The unit is within a 5 minute walk to the main streets of downtown Palm Springs. There's a casino across the street, shops., restaurants are abundant. Our longest walk to a restaurant was 15 minutes ( Farm is a fabulous restaurant). There was a parade that we watched on Saturday. I highly recommend staying here. Caveat: built in the 80's it's not ADA compliant. I so enjoyed my stay that I am thinking about buying a unit here or in the neighborhood. That speaks volumes about how much I enjoyed my stay (Feb. 24-28, 2022).

easy to recommend

great location - management was responsive. One small suggestion kitchen is dated: cabinets and range are tired, pots and pans need to be replaced. Grounds beautiful and location is an easy walk to downtown. 4.5 stars

Fun in Palm Springs

Perfect getaway for us. Nice 1 bedroom with kingsize bed and 2 bathrooms. Large patio with barbeque and seating just overlooking the grounds and fountain. Very quiet but just steps away from downtown and all the restaurants and shops

Deauville Getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our time in this condo. Everything one needed was there for our use. The owner was very responsive to our concerns of which we had a few. However, our time there was great. Great location to town and amenities.

The unit was comfortable, deck was secluded with morning sun, not really much of a mountain view unless you stood up, leaned out over the deck railing and peered through the trees. Complex was quiet and well landscaped, pools were convenient and complex is in a safe neighborhood close to downtown and attractions. People at the complex were very friendly and engaging, very good value here.

We loved it!

The condo was great. It was very well equipped with everything you could need. The location is fantastic - so close to downtown. We made the easy walk just about every day and tried out Palm Springs' wonderful restaurants. Close to everything else by car and simple to get around. The complex itself was very well maintained and the pool was very clean. Steven was easy to contact and very pleasant to deal with. We stayed for 18 days this year -- but have booked it for next year for a month.

Perfect Palm Springs Condo!

We had an excellent stay at Steve's unit at the Deauville. The unit is great. It's a spacious one-bedroom, high ceilings with lots of nice light, and is equipped with everything you could need. The Deauville is a great complex - the grounds are immaculate, and the pools and hot tubs are amazing! Steve is a perfect host - very responsive and helpful with all of our inquiries. I can't wait to go back!

Immaculate

We were delighted with the condo and the property and the proximity to Palm Canyon Drive. Steven provided all of the essentials and more ! The gym and pool were important to us and they did not disappoint. All in all it was a superb experience that we hope to enjoy again.

Clean, Best Location for Palm Springs & private security setting like a Resort!

This property is great! Can't speak high enough! We are fellow VRBO owners and this is a great example of how a property should be marketed & managed! The owner Steven is very nice and reacts promptly with questions and very fair, & helpful! He has that spirit of wanting his guests to return for every trip to Palm Springs! He knows who the customer is and he provides a great property at fair price! I believe you won't find a property in a better location, you can walk everywhere to downtown, casino, resturants, bars, etc! The people around the area are so nice by the pool, jacuzzi and just walking around resort type setting & neighbhood! We will definitely look no further for our next trip to a Palm Springs! I am the type of guy that if I find a good thing I stick with it! The property was better equipped than my own home! Thanks Steven for everything! I have several properties in Palm Springs. They are all different and great in their own way. I love staying at this one when I want to leave the car in the garage and walk. So close to everything there is to enjoy!!!

It's so great to have a one bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms. Just makes life easier and you don't find them very often. Plus, so easy to have another guest stay on the pull out sofa and you don't have to share the bathroom!
