Wonderful location and condo! It was very clean, plenty of towels and kitchen was fully equipped. I do wish it came with beach service, as it appeared most units in the community had it included.

Beautiful place

Beautiful condo, just like pics show. Beautiful beach. Area is very expensive for shopping or food but to be expected. Worth it to take the drive to Fort Walton for food. Little cheaper, and highly recommend Sonny’s bbq! If I had one complaint it would be about the ten dollar charge apiece for access to the pool and amenities. Every place we have ever been it has been included with the rental, not extra.

This place was super nice and spacious are only issues were that they lock the gate so you can not go to the beach after 10pm or the pool so my kids had to watch all the other kids crab hunt witch is one of there favorite things to do also Whats the point of having a nine night lite pool and you can't swim after 10pm we felt very restricted on vacation you should be free to do as you please on vacation

It would have been nice to have k own this unit did not come with 2 chairs and an umbrella..we have stayed in this facility several times and never rented a unit that did not come with chairs….

Convenient beach location

Property is very nice. If I'm being picky, it could be updated a bit. Balcony is large, wonderful view. Property management office was closed upon arrival and they forgot to leave welcome package in the condo. At least we could get in, and just went to office next morning. Their various codes are a bit confusing, they seem to change from what your email states. Also condo REALLY needs a cooler for the beach. We left ours in the condo for the next visitors. Hopefully it doesn't walk away.

The property and the condo were fine but from day 1 of our trip it was a nightmare... 200 miles in to the trip they text us to say not to come!! After driving for 3 hours in the rain, setting in 2 wrecks saw 2 others, driving down several flooded roads and almost hydroplaning ourselves we got to FL only to have to turn around and go back to Alabama to stay in a roach motel! Back on the road on our anniversary and get to the condo that wasn't cleaned... After trying all day to reach someone with management and not being successful I washed the sheets etc. And expected that they would call, text, email me back but NOTHING. Pool was broken the first 2 days we were there and the hot tub was freezing.. they got the pool fixed and the weather turned bad so besides the food, and the company, over all the trip sucked... But we sucked it up and made the best of it! #Vaca2020

We enjoyed this stay. Condo was clean. Had everything we needed. Great location. Even though we had purchased the armbands for the amenities to the beach and pool, ect, if you use the beach chairs and umbrella it still costs to use them. Not really sure if they are affiliated with the Condos or by company. Overall I would stay there again and again.

Destin 2021

Checkin was delayed due to cleaning. Cleaning crew was oblivious to mold & grout in master bath! They had to come back! Once arrived at property, room codes had to changed 2x as we were locked out of the unit. Washer & dryer in unit was VERY loud-so with poor on older TV couldn’t enjoy any shows while washing clothes. Overall not not a great experience-Southern vacations is not customer oriented-their customer service staff are not knowledgeable of the properties they rent, nor due they follow-up with customers concerns.

The electronic door lock was very finicky. Sometimes worked fine when we were leaving but sometimes took us 5 minutes to get it to work. All other things in the condo worked fine. Nicely furnished. Everything we needed in kitchen.

Clean condo with beautiful views!!

The condo was clean, updated and overall great. It was the envy of other families traveling in our group and staying in other condos onsite. The master bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, a small outdoor closet by the front door with sand toys and a place to stash our sandy stuff was a nice extra. The views and access to the beach unparalleled. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars across the board is that the onsite property employees were not the most helpful or friendly. Our dishwasher didn't work from Friday check in until the following Wednesday, despite multiple calls to the onsite property management (the number that was displayed on the fridge for maintenance issues). Once I reached out directly to Southern Vacation, the issue was taken care of but the poor communication about who we should have reached out to in the first place meant hand washing dishes for days, not something I wanted to do on vacation! From the dishwasher issue, to front desk telling my husband there wasn't a restroom my 8 year old could use while we completed check in, to the security guard who blamed my 11 year old for "probably jumping on the elevator" when she was stuck for 30 minutes and the fire department had to come open the doors (the elevator was back in service for less than 24 hours and then shut down for the remaining 5 days of our stay) the onsite employees time and time again came up short.

Great location on the Beach

We enjoyed our stay. Clean and spacious. Check in process was easy. This is on the 3rd floor and has a great view. Only issue we had was with the noise of the washing machine. it was making loud noise during wash cycle. May be the machine need a service. We will come back.
