Self catering suite (apartment) in Chateau La Mothaye - a real Loire Castle in the famous Loire Valley.
Discover the castles, the winery, charming villages and historic towns at the Loire river valley in this unique UNESCO heritage. Château La Mothaye offers you a charming Suite (chateau apartment) for max 5p. This suite has a main room with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (90x200). A large kitchen and an ensuite small bedroom with two beds (90x200) is attached. You have a luxury bathroom (9m2) with shower and toilet. This suite on the second floor is unique for its lovely view of the chapel. Only to be booked per week (Sunday - Sunday), no breakfast included.
La Mothaye is a 19th century castle, which has maintained its original character with paneled walls, open fireplaces and a grand entrance. Entering our château is like entering a fairy tale, reviving days of old. However, its luxury is not just in its appearance, but also in modern features, which would make any guest feel comfortable and welcome. The unique combination of modernization, old grandeur, lovely countryside and a swimming pool will make your stay a memorable one for any kind of holiday. Detailed information: This suite has a main room (39m2) with a double bed and a single bed and has a seating. Attached to this main room there is a nice large kitchen with a dining table (20m2). And we have a small but nice 'ensuite' room (7m2) with two single beds. And of course a large private bathroom with shower and toilet.

We, Erik and Rochelle, have been the proud owners of La Mothaye since the spring of 2011. We immediately fell in love with its beauty, charm and peaceful surroundings. We opened the B&B in 2012.

We are Dutch family of five, including our children Mats (15), Tijn (12) and June (10) and since beginning 2014 we live in France permanently.

We offer you our hospitality, our knowledge of the area and a truly unforgettable stay at our castle.

We speak English, French, German and Dutch.

What makes this property unique

Who doesn't want to live in a romantic castle :-). We liked the chateau at the first moment we saw it. And soon after we discovered the beautiful Loire valley with so much to see and do. A perfect place for vacation.
