Excellent location

The flat was excellent, well furnished and well equipped - with a marvellous view. The easy access to the frequent buses and trains was extremely useful and made getting around very easy. We had a very enjoyable holiday experience.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment. We found it to be clean, spacious, and well-equipped - the WiFi worked perfectly and the modern bathroom has a great shower! The view over the bay from the balcony is magnificent. Easy access to trains and buses and the communication and information received from the owner was excellent.

Les Nerides Villefranche

The downside was the bed linen and the additional costs which are not mentioned in the online listing. The bed linen was very poor, the cover sheet is very worn and covered with lint balls as if its of 10 years old, the pillows flat and not worth using. There was a tobacco smell upon entering as well.

My wife and I absolutely loved this Ville Franche location w panoramic views of VF Bay. Access to shops and groceries was a 10 minute walk away. Trains and Uber were our main modes of transportation - both easily accessible. Eze Village, which is a must visit, is reachable by Uber in 20 minutes and very reasonable. Nice is the same by train, bus or Uber. Because the train is just a short walk downhill, everywhere on the Côte d'azure is at your fingertips! Just book tickets online ahead and save yourself the hassle of buying at the stations. The apartment itself is well equipped and all appliances have been updated w premium appliances. New modern roomy shower was so welcome after long days of travel. The Beach is close by on this end of the town of Ville Franche and the old quaint village of VF itself with all its restaurants, bars, shops and grocery are just a 10 minute walk away. Some of the walking routes to and from this location may be considered a bit steep, but that's truly the nature of most of the hidden gems found on the French Riviera. All manuals for appliances and WiFi access are on hand. Construction was ongoing nearby but manageable overall with travel and excursions and quiet weekends. We visited this location during late May and early June of 2026 and every day was 24 - 28C, blue skies, sunshine ...sooo uplifting! You'll love this spot!

Check in super.

Geweldige vakantie gehad! Fantastisch appartement

A very memorable stay

We spent two delightful weeks in this apartment in beautiful Villefranche sur Mer. The apartment was well appointed and provided everything we needed for a comfortable two week stay. We will long remember the stunning views from the balcony, whether day or evening. Karsten was a welcoming and helpful host. We hope to return.

Amazing View!

The view of the sea from the balcony is fantastic! I spent 1-2 days just sitting on the large balcony overlooking the sea - beautiful! The apartment is a very good size. There is a door to the living area which is great for privacy if you are using the pull out couch. The kitchen has everything you would need if you plan to cook and has a large refrigerator. There is plenty of closet space in the bedroom and the hallway. The bedroom has a chest of drawers for clothing. The bed is comfortable and a large size. The bathroom has plenty of space with a cupboard and corner shelving for toiletries. The washing machine worked great and there is a large drying rack on the balcony where the clothes dried quickly. If you don't have a car or have mobility issues, it may be difficult for some to walk to the apartment building as it requires quite a walk up from the old town and beach. The only issues we had were with the cleaner. When we arrived for our self check in at 9pm, we found only 10 squares of toilet paper on the roll. There were no other rolls in the cupboard. Our feet/sock bottoms were quite dirty after walking on the tile floor. Karsten was easy to communicate with and responded readily. He has a lovely apartment in a beautiful town and we really enjoyed our time there and the surrounding area. We certainly hope to return!
