Beach condo

Everything was clean and waiting for me when I arrived. I opted for late checkout without any problems. The unit is very nice, pool and Jacuzzi were clean and only 1&1/2 blocks from the beach. This was my second time booking this unit and will likely use it again next summer.

Weekend getaway

We get to the property and everything seems to be fine, until we realize that there were a little bit animals like ants, I called the number I had to let them know about the infestation, they said that they did check the property before and it was clean, to send them a picture of the bugs i took a short video but they told me that they couldn't open it but someone will be there in the morning at 08:00am to fumigate for bugs. The following day at 11:00 am I called because nobody had showed up yet, and also because we try it to make breakfast and there we're not a single pan to make an egg, when I told the person that I spoke to, she make it sound like if I was was lying when I said that there no pans at all. We also had problems with the door lock, i do prefer a key or a card. Other than than it was pretty good, nice place, very affordable and pretty.

Overall good but..

Liked the area, landscaping and close access to the beach. Property manager was very friendly. Bedroom TV has no cable access, or DVD player so overall useless for a couple that always sleeps with the TV on. Good thing the couch is a comfortable futon. Bedroom overhead light is apparently for decoration only. Stove has a definite mind of its own, burner was on that we did not use and was flipped to the off position. The upstairs neighbors, as well as thier ice maker and toilets/any running water sound as if they are in the room with you. The hottub makes horrible noise that i didnt want to use it in the evening/night thinking it would disturb the other residents that are very close to it. The front door is difficult to open without cutting your hand on the screen door frame, unless you have very small hands. Set way to close together.

There is a working DVD player, and there are also working lamps in the room to compensate for the overhead light that was not wired correctly when installed. We checked that the stove was working correctly and fixed the door situation. We hope to see you again!

Unsatisfied Customer

We brought our family to the island to enjoy the last of their summer vacation. We decided to book with VACASA because of the cozy condominium and it’s amenities. Sadly this experience was not what we expected. We weren’t able to use the pool/laundry amenities due to there not being a key in its designated lockbox. We had to manage and reuse clothes and towels as a result. There was an exchange of text messages and phone calls but there was no sense of urgency to resolve the matter from the staff nor the unit manager. We personally drove to the local VACASA office but none of the staff seemed to have no clue where the key was either. The staff also couldn’t get ahold of the unit manager. We waited 3 whole days to even be attended to for a simple key. Additionally, the couch in the living room is missing two legs which made it very uncomfortable to sit and sleep in. Lastly, the bed in the only bedroom was also very uncomfortable as well which could use a new mattress. However, we appreciated the convenience of the beach being down the street. This experience will definitely be taken into consideration when looking where to book for our next vacation. Unfortunately, not booking through VACASA.

Honeymoon disaster

The door is broken left us concerned for safty.The light does not work in the bedroom. Bed is hard couches are hard. Only 4 towels given. Light is hanging in bathroom. Shower head is short if over 5' 6'' you have to kneel to get wet. Dresser was broken someone needs to take the time to up date for the comfort of the customer. We made the best of it but really need to take the time and look over condo and think of it form customers stand point.

Cozy and Quiet!

I absolutely loved everything about this place! It had everything I needed to cook with and was cozy and quiet. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the strip. Will definitely be returning! Just fyi.....do not book through Vrbo, go straight to Vacasa bc I was charged $130 Vrbo fee bc I found and booked it on Vrbo instead of Vacasa. Had never heard of Vacasa before now.

just not right

This apartment requires more than cleaning on the surface. It is really dirty. The main room rug, which is pretty big, needs deep cleaning, not just vacuuming. Same with the futon mattress cover, that looks so disgusting, we had to use 2 layers of sheets to feel okay to sleep on it. Kitchen is poorly equipped in the basic utensils and everything looks so old and cheap. We had to buy bug traps for small roaches in the kitchen cabinets and bathroom. Also, there’s an electronic lock on the entrance door, that just doesn’t work properly. It is such a small complex, so you would think it should be safe, but unfortunately our three beach towels were stolen from the pool area (you need to have a key to get there!). Definitely not renting this condo anymore!

The unit was fine...,a bit run down... front large burner on oven is broken and made cooking mire challenging! King bed mattress is like a brick!! But the worst thing Was that the ice maker was broken... no one said, so I turned it on... within 24hrs it started making a horrible noise! I went to turn it off, lifting the bar up and it burnt three of my fingers very badly! They are blistered and hurting and it’s been over 24hrs!!! It’s a major fire hazard! Either fix the ice maker or take it out!!!

This condo is not ready to be rent out. The couch is very hard to sit in and enjoy it. The chairs at

The chairs are very hard to sit. There is paint peeling around the door there is paint peeling by rhe couch. This condo has junk for cook ware. It is impossible to sit on the couch and be comfortable the only place I could sit at was on the bed. The frame around the bedroom door is broken. I could go on with more items but I am sure this will tell you need to do a lot of work to have something a person would like to stay in. Most motels are nicer than this condo and don’t cost any more to rent. I was holding I could fine a place I would like to rent for awhile in the winter but this is it it

The apartment itself is kind of old and requires a renovation. Nevertheless it has very cozy interior design. The surrounding grounds of the complex are very functional and pretty, not mentioning the beautiful plants. We are giving the high overall rating also because of the absolutely great way how the existing problem was solved. Knowledgably and quickly, with a good attitude. We appreciate it Anabel.

Weekend stay

It was very clean minus a couple of roaches that were DEAD looked like they just had pesticides spray. (It is common on the island) Thankfully. Door was hard to open one lock is wrong side up. Key was easy to find and open. Not easy to close. Small but very effective. Parking tight with a F150 truck in the middle section especially driving in and out. Another large vehicle kept blocking one way out, luckily their are 2 ways out.

Spending over $500 for two nights, I expected better than what we got, and the property smelled like pure urine the morning we left! 1) Instructions said we had street parking but instead, we had to call the contact person to learn that we had to go through a tiny little alley to find our parking. 2) We walked in and the TV was blaring. At first we were worried about entering at all. That was just weird. 3) Roaches. Yep. We found at least 4 throughout the little condo. 4) There were shards of glass on the floor between the kitchen and living room. EXTREMELY MAD since we have a 1 year old and a 3 year old. 5) No washer and dryer in the unit, as advertised. I’m pretty upset about that too since we packed lightly. 6) TV in the bedroom but no cable. Nothing at all, except an HDMI cable. 7) Cable in the living room was just horrific. If something happened and the box had to be turned off and back on, we were certain that there’d be no TV for at least 30 minutes while the box restarted. Nightmare with 2 kids while trying to cook or pack up. 8) Overall cleanliness was just awful. Crumbs on the toaster and counters, dirty silverware in the drawer, dirty cups put away in the cupboard, pantry had random cleaning supplies and items that made the whole atmosphere feel very cold and un-inviting. 9) Instructions asked US to clean and dry the dishes, and to help with putting a load of laundry in the wash before leaving. Unique experience that will not be bringing us back
