The outside light was not on when we arrived and the hallway was pitch dark, so we had to use a flashlight to access the keypad. It was still very hard to see. Host should always leave the light on for arriving guests. This made for an unpleasant start.The bath products were the worse we've ever had at a rental. We had to go purchase products. The outside area looked awful. No amenities except for lap pool.

Exceeded expectations

I’ve stayed with this host a number of times and know what to expect from her properties. This even exceeded that! Thank you for making such a homey spot with all the details attended to for us to spend our beach vacation! We hope to be back on our next visit to SPI.

Great location to the beach! You just walk outside the condo and you're on the beach. The condo was very comfortable and updated. It also had a private bedroom. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching amazing sunrises and being entertained by the pelicans diving for food! Highly recommend the place.

Good Stay at SPI

Overall comfortable stay. Security on site for the entire stay. No issues with parking or noise. Plenty of towels. Condo is smaller than anticipated. Bring extra blankets and pillows.

Awesome Balcony

We were wanting a warm get away with ocean view we live in Colorado. The balcony was inset on the 6th floor perfect for relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee and an ocean view. The condo was clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and sheets were soft. The sheets felt brand new. We used the stairs often for exercise. It was nice to have a garage for parking. It was centrally located on the island. We would definately stay again.

Great location!

Condo was almost perfect for what we were looking for. The bed was super comfortable and the unit was clean for the most part. Tiny ants which we are told come in when it rains were why we downrated cleanliness. The listing doesn’t mention the private pool wasn’t heated and the hot tub wasn’t until we complained. Didn’t have a chance to use.

Beach bliss…

This was a great stay for us! Dog friendly beach lodgings with easy pool and beach access. The weather was just perfect too! You can see they are working in new floors and updates- which was not expected- but will be nice for the next visitors! We will happily return to this one! Thanks so much Condo Ladies!

We loved the place

You couldn’t ask for a better location. Steps from the beach and minutes to nearby attractions. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. We’ll surely be back and would recommend to others.

Great view of Gulf

This place was great. Great view, really nice decor, clean. Property managers were promptly responsive and knowledgeable. Only problems were the elevator being out on the first days of our arrival and issues with the wi-fi and television which were resolved with the help of the property manager.

Great Rental on San Padre Island

The condo was just as described. Very clean & neat. Short walk across sand to beach. View was awesome from balcony. The condo looks like it was remodeled in recent years & very well kept. The wood flooring needs replaced, but I'm sure it takes a beating from sand, water & renters. All kitchen dishes, pots, coffee maker, etc were neatly in the cupboards. Would have been nice to have some salt & pepper & a few spices. Was so glad to have beach umbrella, chairs, small cooler there for our use. We flew to the island so couldn't bring items like that. Have one suggestion, a beach wagon would be useful but don't know if that is practical with a rental. TV remotes were rather difficult to use but one call to owner & maintenance guy showed up so that was handled. quickly. Water pressure in shower is low but that is minor. The location is great. Very quiet & safe. Would definately rent this condo again! Fun time in San Padre Island!!

Unresponsive property owner

DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR...WE ABIDED BY ALL THE RULES AND COURTESIES BUT DID NOT GET IN RETURN...We spent over 3 hours trying with them to get the LR TV to work - could have been on the beach..Had NO TV programming for our complete stay...When asking for some consideration we got NO response - still haven't...Will not use VRBO again...based on this - our first try...To bad - it was a nice Condo...The owners seemed very nice and helpful at the time until it was a problem...THEN DISAPPEARED - is that the response you would accept...???
