The kitchen was well equiped. The entry code we were given didn't work so we had to call the office and was given a different code. The house was clean and spacious and we loved having access to games, pool and ping pong table. We would visit again.

Fantastic Footloose

The house offered our group an incredible stay. The entire check-in process was smooth; knowing we had the 24/7 contact number to assist us with anything needed was a major plus. The rooms and common areas were all very clean and spacious. There were an ideal number of bathrooms for a group that fills the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment to cook, bake, and eat with. There is an additional refrigerator in the garage for extra provisions. The outdoor grill was perfect along with all of the other utilities and amenities. The lake is an ideal depth to swim/float around the dock making it enjoyable both with or without a boat. We did not utilize the outdoor fire pit or beach but noticed they were both well maintained. The house is located is a wonderful position both to quickly get to and from multiple locations via water or land. Extremely pleased with the entire process from booking to check-out!

Great place for family(ies)

We had a great Labor Day weekend at this home! It’s great for teens with the beds, space, games, bonfire! Bed was super comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking, baking and grilling. Dock has about 8ft of water - just enough for our boat to maneuver in and out.

The location on the lake was beautiful, and the home offered plenty of space—very comfortable for a large family.However, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the property. When we arrived, the garbage bins were already full and the smell near the front entrance was overwhelming. I contacted the property manager, who said they’d be emptied the next morning, but they remained untouched for the duration of our stay.Inside, basic cleaning had clearly been overlooked. The dining tables had dried food on them that I had to scrub off, and there were no cleaning supplies provided, so I had to purchase some from the grocery store. The bathroom rugs were matted and visibly dirty—I ended up washing them all on our first day. The garage, where the ping pong table is located, looked like a party had just ended—empty cans were scattered around and toys were left everywhere.Outside, the dock required over an hour of cleaning before we could use it. The decks and dock structures are in rough shape, with loose boards, exposed nails, and splinter hazards that would be especially concerning for families with small children.While we appreciated the space and the setting, the lack of upkeep and cleanliness made for a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

This is a nice house in a quiet setting. The house is in need of some TLC and maintenance and some parts of the house are in need of a thorough cleaning. I can get past the wear and tear, you can expect that in a rental. The house is very kid friendly with lots of toys for young children as well as baby needs. We had a great family vacation!

Perfect location for a Lakeside getaway

We have never been to Lake Anna before and we’re looking for a Spring Break getaway with the kids. The location was amazing, right on the lake, we hired 2 double kayaks and a paddle board and were out on the water every day. The kids fished from the pontoon and we caught about 14 fish between the 4 kids, the had a blast. The house itself was perfect, plenty of space and the kids had something to do at all times….. ping pong, pool, poker, board games…. It really was a great stay packed with lots of family time. Family time was a lot more prevalent as the internet was non-existent, it was a plus for our family. But that just speaks to the nature of the remoteness of the location, it was wonderful and we will be back for sure.

Great house, but outside needs maintenance

The house is great with lots of room. The majority of the inside of the home was clean. The basement had dirt and bugs that needed to be cleaned prior to stay. The only uncomfortable bed was the upstairs queen bed. It creaked every time you moved. The outside needed maintenance. The grass was not cut, the bush’s were all overgrown and we really could not swim off the dock. The outside pictures in the listing do not really look like that. This was really disappointing because it could be a fantastic property. Overall we did enjoy our stay and had a great time with family and friends.

Yard and outdoors not well maintained

This house was lovely and was a positive experience on the inside, BUT, the whole point of renting a lake house is to be able to enjoy the outdoors and the lake. This house's yard was overgrown, tall grass, bushes and weeds overflowing the walk paths, and got cut the day before we left so we didn't have time to enjoy the beautifully cut space. Also, there is no sidewalk or path to the dock, which is partially blocked by a hedge of bushes, so it wasn't clear all week that it belonged to this property. After the grass was finally cut, we ventured through the grass and realized the dock probably belonged to the property. It too was not in great condition. Lots of cobwebs and the ladder into the water was really wobbly and unsafe to use. The cushioned dock furniture was molded and the other furniture was weak to sit in. The sandy entrance to the water has not been maintained and weeds are growing through the sand. I would not let my kids play in it. The worst were the bath towels. They were small, old and felt like burlap. That was awful as we had to rub our bodies with those. We could stay out of the grass but all the towels were pitiful and of poor quality for an expensive lake house such as this. We rent lake houses from vacasa often, and this experience by far was the worst, especially given the amount we paid to rent a lake house. And, the time we had to spend sending pictures to vacasa to explain/prove the problems took valuable time out of our vacation days. Vacasa should inspect your own properties instead of asking the renters to do it. I wouldn't stay here again.

Improvements are welcome

Although the location was amazing, there were a few issues with the property which made our stay not very welcomed. 1. The internet connection was extremely slow and unreliable, which it impossible for us to do remote work, or even watch a movie - streaming wasn’t available, and the only option would have been expensive trying to buy from DirectTV. 2. The dishwasher was broken and we had to constantly wash dishes manually - not what I’m looking for when getting on vacation. 3. The house was poorly cleaned, full of dust and the floors full of loose dirt, to include rugs. The garage was border line filthy. 4. The kitchen trash can was broken. 5. The pool sticks all had tips broken off so we had to go get superglue and try fix them. 6. One of patio wicker chairs fell apart when we sat in it. 7. Lots of bugs and spiders in the basement bedroom, perhaps treating the perimeter with pesticide would be helpful. 8. The garage door doesn’t lock. 9. VRBO reached out to the owner for a refund for all the inconveniences- crickets.

Great Week at Lake Anna

Very clean home with many amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It's a bit of a downhill walk to the dock, but very manageable for most.

Relaxing, quiet, wonderful week

We loved our stay at your home. The cove and this portion of the lake is super quiet. We were able to kayak in the middle of the channel anytime we wanted. Our little one loved the little beach area. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of games available, beds are comfortable. Only drawback is poor Wi-Fi in the home. Also very little cellphone coverage with both AT&T and Verizon. Other than internet, Highly recommend.

Beautiful home and location

The home was as beautiful as we expected. It's spacious, comfortable and a has a well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms to make you feel like you're right at home. One thing I'd like to add is the fact that the lawn was not mowed. It is such a beautiful place but as you arrive, the first thing you notice is a forgotten landscape. It would help to pay more attention to the lawn as guests spend much of their stay outside and it would make a big difference if the outside were as neat as the inside. Overall, we made some of the best memories here and I would recommend this home to anyone.

Great Lake house trip

We went with 15 friends to Footloose and the house had everything we needed. The ping pong table and pool tables were perfect for our night time entertainment and the lake and dock were great for the day. Highly recommend staying here!
