Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the location worked well for you. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-located villa at a strong value, and we consistently receive positive feedback from guests who appreciate both the space and amenities. We appreciate your input and will continue working to ensure every stay meets expectations. The early spring pool closure was due to a maintenance issue identified just before arrival. We shared this update in advance and would have offered a full refund had it impacted your plans. In over 20 years of ownership at Palmetto Dunes, this is the first time we’ve experienced a delayed pool opening. We let you know as soon as we received the update before you were to checked in, and would have offered you a full refund if we had thought it impacted your plans. We were not made aware of any issue with the coffee maker during your stay, but we would have replaced it immediately if needed. We encourage guests to reach out during their visit so we can resolve concerns in real time. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope you otherwise enjoyed the space and location of our 1,300-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath villa in Palmetto Dunes.

Hi Kathleen, thank you for being a terrific guest! We agree St Andrews Common is one of the most private and serene villa complexes in Palmetto Dunes, and on HHI. One can say they are more likely to find a protected sea turtle nest than a high-rise building, which is what draws people to the island vs. Florida. Thanks for staying with us. We invite you to return anytime. Sincerely, Susan

À propos de l’hôte

Image de profil de l’hôte
We've been on VRB0 with this St. Andrews Common villa since 2003. We enjoy helping families and golfers plan their HHI vacations. Hilton Head Island was named the #1 Island in the U.S. and Canada by Travel and Leisure magazine, the #1 Beach Town in the US by Parents Magazine,.and #2 in the World! Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is located at the heart of Hilton Head Island.

We love the beach, golf, tennis, and everything Palmetto Dunes has to offer. We especially love playing the Robert Trent Jones oceanfront golf course. We think HHI is the perfect place for a family vacation.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

While viewing properties for sale in 2003, we wanted to buy in a private resort area. Palmetto Dunes was just right for us because it's size is not too big, and not too small. With 2 beach accesses, 3 golf courses and an excellent tennis court and pickleball facility, Palmetto Dunes was the place for us. We picked St. Andrews Common because the units are clustered in groups of 4 per building, vs. all in one building, which makes it very private. The layout is spacious, and having the wrap-around patio & garden makes our place feel more like a second home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We like being close to the pool because it makes it easier to tote your floats, towels, and picnic lunch to and from the pool. The wrap around private outdoor patio is a great place to cook out, relax, read the paper, listen to nature, and just enjoy time being on the island.
