The first feeling you have at Villa in Torno is the strong energy emanating from a wild and uncontaminated place. Landscape and Nature do the rest: the rock cavity in the basement and the breathtaking views towards the lake.

Villa Torno offers you a unique privacy. No neighbors, no noise, the right place to stop the watch and take "your" real time.

The sunset is absolutely amazing in the summer, you can enjoy it from this side of the lake.

This is a way to enhance the innate beauty of each other. The house is very private and surrounded by conservation land, wood and rocks. The priority is the relationship between the inside and the outside living space. All the traditional materials were used in a contemporary way.

4 bedrooms with their en suite bathrooms for 8 persons: master bedroom 'romantic' with double bed, bedroom 'cava' with double bed, remaining two bedrooms 'sunset' and 'rocks' can be prepared either with twin beds or double bed, according to guest's requirement.
3. 000 square meters of lush green and terraced gardens.

The house is in the middle of the village.
A 4x4 car is strongly suggested or at least for car with automatic transmission. It is possible to find problems in reaching the property.
Then you park inside the property and you have a ramp of about 80 steps up to the Villa ..... the ramp to paradise!
Anyway, for this reason, VILLA RETURN IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR PEOPLE HAVING DISABILITY IN WALKING.
No problems for your luggages, there is someone who will bring them up to the house on your behalf.
During the winter season, it is very difficult to reach the house.

The building has been recently fully restored, preserving the identity of the original stone building.
The interiors are furnished with original designer and art pieces.

The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi, LG OLED TV satellite 55 "ThinQ AI -bill rich colors - 4K HDR cinema - dolby atmos cinema screen with Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming service, decoder, DVD and Hi-Fi .
Your favorite music on your mobile playlist can be listened to in the house simply connecting the mobile to Bluetooth to the Hi-Fi System.

In the basement there is a relaxation area with a unique bio sauna. Sauna bio sauna sauna a turkish bath.

Enjoy the outdoor TERRACE SPA with Softub Jacuzzi for 5/6 persons, hot / cold water showers and relaxation area.
An alternative to an appetizer with a romantic glass of wine.
The Jacuzzi is not available during winter season, from November, 1st to March, 31st included.

Check-in time is at 4 PM.
Sometimes, provided that Villa Torno is available, we can agree to different check-in time.

Villa Torno is also a special romantic location for an intimate and luxurious wedding, offering unique privacy and an amazing view of the lake providing a breathtaking backdrop for your pictures on this unforgettable day. Maximum people up to 30/35.

For the wedding date an extra price will be required, to be agreed upon with the wedding planner, in addition to the 3 nights as minimum stay.

Torno is a charming village that stretches into the lake with its rocky promontory. It is called the little lake, it is called the small village of the lake.

It is about 5 km from Como and 15 km from Bellagio. It is very pleasant to move around by public boats or simple walking in the mountains.

Amazing Stay

House is top-notch with great amenities - crisp pool, large sauna / steam room, beautiful views, wonderful decor. Erika looked after all our requests, including arranging dinners on the lake in Torno and Como and all transportation. Highly recommend for quiet and restful family escape!

Amazing Property

The property was all that we expected and more! The views were amazing. Perfectly located in between Como and Bellagio. We would stay there again. Plenty of room for the family to spread out with all the modern day essentials . . . WiFi and Netflix! Be prepared for hiking!

A private perch above the lake

Jennifer welcomed us warmly and even provided transportation to the grocery store when we arrived. Erika was a friendly host, committed to making our stay most enjoyable. The views are spectacular and our family time at Villa Torno was most enjoyable.

Masterpiece in the Mountains

Access to the property is a bit of a challenge (if walking) but once there, you are rewarded with an incredible view and a villa that does not disappoint. It is expertly curated and no detail is left unattended: furnishings, home accessories, amenities, welcome basket. Staff was both kind and attentive. Top notch!

Dream vacation home in a beautiful town on Lake Como

From start to finish our experience was 10/10. It is impossible to capture the beauty of this home and it’s views in photos - it is something you need to see in person to truly appreciate. The detail and thought that went into building the home is incredible. There are great restaurants, hiking and boat tours all in walking distance. Erika and her team went above and beyond to make our trip as amazing as possible and we can’t thank them enough! Hope to be back again soon.

Perfection plus cardio

Fantastic overall . The walk up the ramp was a humurous talking point . I for one am glad we didn’t know more about the magnitude of this as we may not have booked and then we would have never experienced what an incredible place this is .

Far beyond our expectations

Hard to avoid bubbling over with superlatives when describing this wonderful place. There is thought and attention paid to every detail of this property, indoors and out. Photos simply cannot capture the sense of space with the lake spread out below you. Jenny’s welcome tour set us up for a relaxed time. The ramp is no joke, but the alternate route up to the house worked well for our group. Torno is a quiet and lovely home base just 15 mins from Como. Automatic drive car is a must for the intrepid driver.

Love, Love, Love this property Villa Torno! The property has breathtaking views, the home is an architectural beauty and you will find that the house and yard is fully equipped for all your comfort. Our experience amazing, Erika what a gracious owner and host she ensured everything was perfect for our holiday. She made us feel so special. She recommended a private chef Giovanni and what a treat that was... we should of done that more than once... would highly recommend. Giovanni and Simona created us a special night with wonderful food and a lot of fun. We have rented quite a few homes and have never written a review...but had to share our experience it was fantastic and we would highly recommend. We can't wait to come back!

Incredible Property

This was one of the most amazing properties I have ever been to. The location is a little tough as there is a very big hill that you need to walk up to get to the property, so not ideal for people with heals. if you have bags, they very kindly have someone take them up/down for you, but leaving is not easy, so be prepared to stay/order food some nights. They have a car service that can pick you up and take you where you need to go but it's very costly ($130 USD each way). Also, we were there in the summer and it can get buggy with the windows opened. We killed many bugs, so we ended up keeping them closed. Overall, I am so happy we stayed at the property and couldn't be happier with the host.

Fantastic property and experience!!

We stayed at Villa Torno for three days in September and it was just magical. The property is situated up a hill which provides gorgeous views of the lake and many outdoor seating areas to take advantage of the vistas. The home has been lovingly restored and is tastefully appointed. The host was very accommodating and helpful with all our questions and needs. The new pool was very welcome after mornings of sightseeing, as was the sauna. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to Lake Como.

Torno in Ten Days

You know you love a place when you’ve just gotten familiar with it, and then you can’t believe it’s time to go…. Situated between Como and Bellagio, Villa Torno is an ideal location to visit, neighboring all the must-sees, while maintaining the comfort of your own private retreat. But to enjoy this home’s old-world charm of ancient Italy, its tasteful decor, and modern conveniences, you must be prepared for a few door entry ducks for those taller than 6-foot and a daily dose of steep inclines and rocky terrain. And if you’re up for that, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views on Lake Como! Both the property owner and property manager were responsive and helpful in every sense throughout our visit. And if you’re a hiker or an active outdoor type, there’s a small village at the top of the mountain, Montepiatto, 614 meters above the lake. Have a beer in the garden at Crotto that makes the traverse back down all the more gratifying, but only second to a refreshing plunge in the grotto stone pool that awaits you!

Extraordinary home

What an incredibly beautiful and thoughtfully designed home! It is more spectacular than the photos can capture. Perfectly situated for privacy with exquisite views everywhere you look, this home is a dream. We could not have asked for more. Both Erika and Jenny were quick in responding to any questions we had and were very helpful in recommending restaurants and a guide for our private boat tour around Lake Como. Christmas at Villa Torno

The Villa Torno is a one of a kind property. The setting and view are truly remarkable. We have rented many VRBO properties all over the world over the years and this one is at the top of the list. Our family had a fantastic visit over Christmas. The host was also amazing - very friendly, proactive, and customer focused. A wonderful property that we highly recommend.

Perfect Italian Retreat

We absolutely loved Villa Torno. The property was even better than described. Completely immaculate and a designer’s dream. The drive to the property is an experience, but we eventually grew accustomed to it. The remoteness and tranquility are worth it.

Most beautiful views in Lake Como! Must stay if it’s avail!!!!

I was attending a wedding and had a group of 7 stay in this villa. The minute you reach the top of the hill which is a steep walk, you are blown away by the beauty of the house and the view of the lake. Jenny met us at 5 minutes from the villa so she can help us navigate up the hill to the gate with our cars. We spent 5 wonderful days in the house which we fell in love with. The place has a nice stereo system to play your favorite classics or you can just listen to nature around you. There are no neighbors so you can enjoy the yard in privacy. This is by far the most beautiful villa I have stayed in. I look forward to going back for a family event, retreat, couples trip, or just a base to enjoy regional activities i.e. wine tasting, sight seeing, tours, boating, ect….. Erika (the owner) is a wonderful host. I loved talking about her journey and the art she created displayed through out the house. I now follow her on instagram at erikatrojer_art and villa_torno_lakecomo which has additional pictures of the house.

Paradise on the Lake!

We stayed at Villa Torno this past week and it couldn't have been more perfect! The views from the property are spectacular from every angle. The house itself is a work of art. The owner provides everything you could think of for your getaway on Lake Como. We will return for sure! Erika the owner is a true pleasure to work with!

Unforgettable!!

We were totally blown away by Villa Torno when we saw the property, it didn’t do the pictures justice. Just like all the reviews we read, our family ended up spending the majority of our time enjoying the Villa and it’s stunning charm, grounds and views! We used the Chefs that Erika recommended for our sons birthday dinner and they were fantastic! We would highly recommend staying at Villa Torno!!

The photos are terrific but really don’t do the property or the setting justice. The development of this home is actually a work of art by the owner and the attention to detail and the guest experience is 5 ⭐️
