This brand new charming two bedroom apartment is located just 150m from the seafront promenade of Bugibba in St Paul’s Bay. It is located in a block of self catering holiday apartments.
This Sea-view apartment with BBQ terrace is on the 6th floor and has a lovely terrace with commanding views of most of St Paul’s Bay including St Paul’s Islands. On this terrace, there are a gas BBQ and garden furniture (sunbeds, chairs, and table).
The apartment consists of one bedroom with double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and balcony, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen / dining / living area with one single bed. The combined kitchen dining living has a small terrace with washing machine and clothes drying facilities (also with sea views).
This apartment is ideal for groups of up to 5 adults. Fast unlimited WiFi internet and TV are free of charge. Fans are provided in each room. Towels and bed sheets are provided.
Lift to all floors, just 3 steps at the ground floor
*Utilities Consumption* - Please note that Water and Electricity consumptions are included in the price with a limit of 0.5 cubic meter of water per person per week and 150 KWh of electricity per apartment per week. The limits are usually more than sufficient for the stay.

Had a great 7 day stay at Seashells. Everything went as arranged, transport to and from Airport arranged by Getaways team, check in was made so easy, all we needed was there for us, he even made sure we had bottled water and wine to welcome us, ( wife liked the wine!!) Kitchen was well equipped, cooker fairly new and spotless. WiFi and TV was top class, main balcony overlooking St Pauls Bay, spacious with Dining and BBQ plus sun loungers, ideal for great sunset chilling. Will be returning hopefully next year. Many Thanks to the Getaways Team. Highly Recommended.

A perfect holiday place
What to Say. ...Lovely brand new terraced penthouse with wonderful sea sights everything was new, clean and well organized with a superb customer service. The House is Close to the Beach, close to Bugibba square and to the seafront promenade.
We had everything we needed in and out of the apartment... Nothing was missing! Thank you so much Neville for all you did to make our holiday ...Just a perfect holiday!!!.

Compact apartment
The apartment was clean but basic. A nice view from the balcony over looking the harbour. Unfortunately and totally out of the hands of the owner, it was like being in the middle of a building site. Building work was being undertaken all around and they start really early.

We at GetawaysMalta holiday Accomodation, give a lot of attention to cleanliness and to keep apartments looking fresh. We also choose to own and rent out only properties that lie in the best locations.
I am not sure what you mean by basic. When I hear "basic" I imagine a room with just a bed just like in a cheap hotel. Maybe you meant that the furniture is simple and easy to clean. If so I agree as we design our apartments in a way that they are easy to service and clean to make sure we give the best service, always.
I would like to clear that all the apartments owned by us GetawaysMalta Holiday Accommodation (Owners Neville and Ruth Galea) including this penthouse cannot be better equipped in our opinion as we to great detail and the inventory is huge. Lets take just the kitchen for example. Drinking glasses, you have tumblers, wine glasses, ice cream glasses, mugs, espresso cups, and tea cups. Pots and pans there are 9 pieces with lids. Plates there is a set for 6 persons with 3 plate types each plus cereal bowls. Orange juicer, Strainer, Coffee percolator, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery you can imagine including those for the Gas BBQ in the terrace. Apart from the 4 hobs and oven there is also a microwave and a big fridge. The apartment has got WiFi in all rooms and IPTV with hundreds of channels in many different languages.
This particular penthouse apartment has 3 AC units too (one each room) plus fans and insect screens in all terrace/balcony doors. The terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture , Gas BBQ and Sunbeds with sun bed mattresses.
In case a guest needs us we are reachable by email, SMS, phones, Whats App and Facebook. We can act on a guests demand within minutes as we have our own cleaners, representatives with cars, maintenance men with vans, work shop and stores full of spares, office open 7 days a week and a 24/7 emergency phone numbers.
Re: Building site. In Malta there is a lot of construction going on as the economy is booming.
My workers (cleaners, maintenance and representatives) did not notice any building works in a radius of at least 100m. The other tenants in the other 13 apartments also did not report any annoyance. We the owners also do not know of any construction going on at the moment close enough to effect our guests.
Thus unless a person is not very sensitive to noise during his sleep there should not be any disturbance.

We spent 11 nights in Neville and Ruth’s appartment. We have thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Firstly there was a wonderful communication from them since the beginning. They offered to book us a taxi to collect us from the airport which was helpful and made our journey easier and stress free as much as possible. Ruth was expecting us at the Seashells appartments, welcomed us warmly, we were given a bottle of wine too. Ruth showed us around, explained to us how things in the flat operate, where our nearest shops are, where the buses are stopping – all helpful information to make us feel comfortable. Gave us leaflets about local attractions, even got us tickets for a boat trip with a discount.
Flat itself was clean, spacious, well equipped to enjoy a great holiday. There is a lift in the building, the flat itself is fully airconditioned, has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, owen, microwave, lovely views from a spacious terrace equipped with table, chairs and sunloungers. There are plenty of local shops that are well stocked, good restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops, beach for swimming all of this walking distance. It was a pleasure to stay at this lovely place. Our holiday was made easy from start to finish, reservation was simple, communication was very good and our hosts Neville and Ruth organised airport transfers for us. We were met at the apartment on arrival and everything was explained to us. Stress free throughout.
The apartment itself was very clean and tidy, had 2 very good sized bedrooms, a combined kitchen lounge area which was more than adequate for us as we ate out at several of the restaurants within easy walking distance. The shower room is small but again has everything you need.
A small balcony at the front is ideal for the early morning sun whilst the main balcony gets the sun from mid morning to sunset, good space for dining outside or sun bathing. Another small covered balcony off the lounge area with washing machine and washing lines was a nice touch.k
Location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and the central square, and many supermarkets, bars, cafes & restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Bugibba is also ideal centre for travelling around Malta by inexpensive buses.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment, in Bugibba and Malta.
Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

Good location, good apartment, good owners.
Good self-catering apartment (with lift); lovely view over the bay. Located close to Bugibba centre and with easy access to Qawra and St Pauls Bay. So, local attractions and good eateries are all within easy walking distance. All the basics for your stay are provided and the owners are ready to help if needed (including, for example, arranging car transfer). The apartment was as described and in good order. That all makes for an easy and enjoyable stay!

The view is very nice, the quality of the bedding is good, enough towels provided, fans + air conditioning (although we did not use them) and the welcome package on arrival is really nice (bottle of water + wine + food in the fridge).

Good though fairly basic apartment. Enjoyed our stay there.
The apartment was clean and tidily decorated. Two decent sized bedrooms each with a balcony towards the back though not a great view from them due to neighbouring building work currently. A good view from the front balcony over the bay with entertainment from the local biker cafe. Small bathroom with decent shower. Kitchen area doubled as lounge with TV and sofa, just a bit basic if there were four people and you planned spending time indoors.
A generally quiet area with a few good restaurants. Some interesting walks including The Heritage Trail. A good bus service gives easy access to most of the island.
Very happy with our hosts Neville and Ruth, arranged taxi to and from airport, kept us well informed throughout.
Overall enjoyed our stay good value for money would certainly recommend.

TOP-Lage
Nur 4 Sterne wegen aktuellen Baustellen in unmittelbarer Nähe, die um 6.30 Uhr anfingen Lärm zu machen und wegen dem unbequemen Schlafsofa.
Das Apartment ist mit seiner Terrasse und dem Blick über das Meer unschlagbar, Herr Galea wenn auch nicht persönlich aber immer über WhatsApp erreichbar und mit vielen Helferlein, die sofort zur Stelle sind wenn etwas benötigt wird (z.B. wenn mal der Abfluss verstopf ist..).
Auf der Terrasse ist rund um die Uhr Sonne und Mittags sogar etwas Schatten und wir konnten jeden abend einen super Sonnenuntergang beobachten.
2 große Supermärkte (Piscopos und Trolees) sind in Laufweite aber für das schwere Wasser bieten sich die kleinen Lädchen in der Nähe an.
Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Fischladen Connis Fish Shop auf der Triq il Mosta, fangfrisch viel Auswahl, auch Tiefgekühlte Ware. Montags geschlossen, dafür Sonntags bis 14.30 Uhr geöffnet.
Die Busverbindungen auf Malta sind sehr zahlreich, so dass wir unsere Ziele mit mehreren Möglichkeiten erreichen konnten größtenteils auch ohne Umsteigen und ganz viele der Bushaltestellen sind in fußläufiger Nähe des Appartments.

Fantastic sea views!
This is a spacious & well equipped apartment in a great location.
5 minutes walk to the promenade, a few small supermarkets and plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area.
There is a small balcony and a large balcony. The large one has table, chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ. We loved the large balcony for the fabulous sea views during the day and watching the sunset in the evenings. Perfect for relaxing after a day of sight seeing.
We bought a 7 day bus ticket for €21 each which you can use all over the island and Gozo. Great value for money. There are plenty of bus stops within walking distance and the Malta bus service is brilliant!
The service from the owner was excellent from start to finish. Communication was good by email before we arrived and on Whatsapp while we there.
We took the transport from and to the airport, offered by the owner -
€50 euros for 2 people - and all went smoothly.
We were also met on arrival by a lovely girl who explained about the apartment and about some places to visit in Malta.
I only have a couple of small negative Comments - It was a bit noisy early in the morning because there is some building work going on next door. Didn't bother us too much as we are early risers but if you want a lie in on holiday it may be a problem. They finished early though and it didn't affect our relaxation in the afternoons or evenings. The owner did say they have tried to get them not to start too early but I suppose they have to work when it's not too hot. Also I think maybe it shouldn't continue to be described as brand new, because it's not anymore, but it is still a great place to stay.
I would recommend this apartment for the fantastic views, location, and the fact it is better equipped than any other holiday apartment we have stayed in. The great service from the owners also helped to ensure we had a very good time in Malta.

Beautiful flat with two balconies and great view!
We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse for a long weekend - great location only a few minutes from the water, great view overlooking the ocean and promenade, Neville and Ruth were very nice and even left us some bread, cheese, and ham for sandwiches! Would absolutely recommend for a lovely weekend away and look forward to staying there again!

Schönes Apartement mit toller Aussicht
Das Apartement von Ruth und Neville ist groß und hell und sachlich eingerichtet. Es ist für zwei Personen sehr gut geeignet. Es gibt eine richtig große Terrasse zum Osten und eine kleine zum Westen. In den wärmeren Monaten kann man dort morgens und abends gut sitzen oder auch in der Sonne liegen. (2 Sonnenliegen) Im November scheint die Sonne leider nicht so oft, es kann auch schon mal den ganzen Tag regnen. Dann ist alles etwas klamm und man muss heizen, damit z.B. die Handtücher trocknen. Ein Radiator (mit Gasflasche) sorgt für Wärme.
Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt einen Gas-Herd mit Backofen und genügend Töpfe, Pfannen und Geschirr.
Das Wasser in der Dusche war immer heiß (Elektro-Boiler), aber der Duschvorhang hält nicht ganz dicht. Unsere Kommunikation mit Mrs. Galea funktionierte wunderbar über WhatsApp :) Probleme wurden sofort von der Angestellten "Stef" (superfreundlich!) behoben.
Gut:
- Fahrstuhl (6. Stock!)
- Tolle Aussicht
- viele Parkplätze (November)
- Matratze (schön stabil)
Weniger gut:
- Ungemütliches helles Deckenlicht
- im Wohnzimmer keine Stehlampe (soll aber geändert werden)
- keine Filter-Kaffeemaschine (aber gute, kleine manuelle Espresso-Maschine für den Herd)
Wenn das Wetter sonnig und trocken ist und man bis spät abends die Terrassen nutzen kann, vielleicht auch mal draußen grillen (Gas-Grill vorhanden), dann ist das Apartement SEHR ZU EMPFEHLEN! Tagsüber war es draußen oft wärmer, als im Apartement - aber so ist es eben im November.

Excellent location, stunning views
We very much enjoyed our stay in the Seashells penthouse in Bugibba. The apartment has a fantastic location, is equipped with everything you need for your holiday, and the views from the balcony are stunning. Neville and Ruth took great care to answer all our questions before arrival. We really liked the fact that there were two balconies, one of them large enough for sun beds and a large table. It was the perfect place from which to watch the sunset!

Fantastic Property
The apartment was all it described and more. Very clean, everything you needed and some lovely personal touches. Balcony off the living room was huge and despite having a dining table and chairs, 2 sun loungers and gas barbecue the space left over was twice the size of a hotel balcony. Stunning views from both balcony's. Really handy for promenade, bus station, bars and clubs and yet really quiet. Lift in building made life easier. Owners correspondence was great and they were accommodating for our 00.45am arrival. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Stunning views and location
Lovely apartment in a very good location 5 mins from seafront and very near the old part of St Pauls near the church and the supberb Tarragon restaurant . Two balconies with beautiful views over St Pauls island. This also allows a good draft of air through the apartment.
The only small quibble is that the shower curtains are quite flimsy and water often ends up on floor- but minor issue.
Highly recommended.

seashells penthouse apartment
Neville & Ruth couldn't have been more helpful before we even arrived with info and ordering transfers on arrival & departure. The photos were exactly as shown. wonderful stay

The location is perfect as it is just few metres away from the lovely Bugibba promenade. In the area there is all you need like shops, bus stops, restauants, etc. This makes it ideal both for a short holiday and also for a long Winter Holiday like you spent with us. In Malta we have mild winters and usually sunny weather. this is the reason why we get a lot of repeat guests like you who come to Malta to enjoy our lovely weather. Wonderful stay
We had a great stay here. Apartment location was just what we were looking for - just off the seafront and therefore quiet; but still walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The apartment was bright, airy, very clean, and enjoyed 360 views of the town of St Paul's Bay and Bugibba. Equipped with everything we needed so we were extremely happy with this apartment. Had a great time. Thankyou!!

Excellent penthouse in St Pauls Bay, Bugibba
Brandnew flat (nr 11) in Seashells Apartment with large sunny terrace and balcony with afternoon sun. Minimalistic interior design -stone, glass and wood. Clean and fully equipped for self catering. Everything is modern and of good design. Comfortable beds : )
One minus is lack of hooks/knobs for towels, shelf for specs and toiletries in the bathroom. A bathroom mat would also be nice (wet floor after shower).
The owners were very helpful and organized airport pick up -very handy. Things we asked for to the flat were quickly delivered.
The apartment block is situated in Triq Santa Marija, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and cafés.
We really recommend this property and if we return to Malta we know where to stay.

apartment new and amazing and relaxing view
The apartment is close to the sea and from the the terrace we enjoyed a great view, the area is quite but the shops on the promenade and bugibba centre are very close!
On our arrival we had a problem with the airplane so we reached the apartment later then expected, but there was a nice girl waiting for us, she showed us the apartment and explained a little about the island! And Neville has already bought us some things for the breakfast!
we will definitely be their guest again! Thank you Neville!

Impressive!
Very nice, brand new and modern penthouse! Exactly as in the photos, even better actually, as you get to see the view right up to st pauls islands! We had a very nice stay in this lovely penthouse where we thouroughly enjoyed the sunny terrace both in the morining, sometimes in the afternoon and a must in the evening. The weather in Malta in November is just like Summer...nice, warm and sunny...all we needed. we recommend the apartment and especially the friendly owners that were helpful and very professional starting with the correspondence before we arrived in malta and even more professional from the time we landed in malta. We were greeted by the owner who also gave us advise on where to go and what to do. We did not manage to visit everything, which is a good excuse for our next trip to Malta! thank you Neville and you will definetly see us again!!! Zara and John

Elsker Malta -Love Malta
I was in Malta with my family. Penthouse is brand new, close to the shops, big terrace which was a great plus for my children as they were playing outside with their Legos for hours whilst we prepared the dinner. Fantastic weather and great place to stay. Will definitely come again!

Do not stay here it is not as it is shown
We booked the harbour lights apartment and on the Saturday before we were leaving to fly out on the Monday we were told there was a problem and we had been upgraded to this there was know time to look elsewhere as it was weekend..After looking it up it was not an upgrade it was cheaper than the one we booked I contacted the owner and then and then only was the price changed.We both have breathing problems which is why we booked the first one on the sea front .We arrived about 1am and Lindsey was there to meet us took us in and told us all we needed to no.The next morning being woken up at 7am we were in a back Street up a hill with building work going on right opposite our worst night mare dust everywhere great for our breathing NOT .The view over the roof tops is lovely that's as far as it goes the pictures do not show this place in a true light..Firstly there was a dirty mop and bucket left in the bathroom the kitchen sink moved about on the work top it was not secured to the unit and it did not have a plug.The kettle is a tin thing when it is boiled the handle burns you it is not safe unless you use a cloth.there are wires all over the place extention leads on the floor really safe if you have kids NOT.the kitchen and sitting area are very tiny not like the photo's show there is a small unit under the tele that you keep catching your leg on great for kids NOT. In the bedroom there are no drawers to put underware in or medication the beds are very low and again with sharp corners got loads of bruises of the beds and my friend cut her leg and it bled again great for kids NOT.The lighting in the kitchen is not good for cooking only one light works over the cooker the knobs on the cooker get very hot if the oven is on not great unless you don@t mind getting burnt.The bathroom has no shelf for toiletries and if you wear specs when you have a wash there is no where to put them the shower has curtains and when you take a shower the floor gets wet through. In the pictures on the balcony it shows wooden chais with arms in true life the chairs only have one arm on though god knows why they took an arm off each chair. The towels have seen better days as has the bedding I have been all over the world and as a 63 year old women I have only ever written one bad review. The walk from the sea front up to the apartment is disgracefull the pavements are not fit to walk on the road is full of holes and there is rubbish all over the place PLEASE GUYS STAY AWAY

So these guests did NOT stay in this apartment for the whole week…they decided to sleep here for only one night. Nothing made these people happy and we went out of our way to offer them a comfortable stay. We changed the apartment for these guests three times to try and find the right one suitable for them! The comments left in the review are stretched and have gone way too far. The apartment is exactly as in the pictures. The pictures are taken with our normal camera (so pictures portray the reality)
So as one clearly can read from the other guest comments, this is a BRAND NEW penthouse apartment with terrace and views. the apartment is fully licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority as well and is ideal for families, couples, any age group. The apartment is also duly check by the local health and safety officers to check that all appliances, balconies, utensils, etc. Malta is in the EU and all we import is EU compliant.
We have many apartments and we have our maintenance staff and 2 large stores full of spares. Thus we we can see to any problem immediately.
We personally meet all guests on arrival and give all information they will require during your stay. If anyone has a problem or any question we can come again to the apartment or reply to their what`s app, sms , phone call or emails in less 8 hours. For emergency purposes we also supply two mobile numbers that are reachable 24/7. Please refer to the other guest comments to see that we always take good care of our guests . We guarantee nice and clean apartments and we offer assistance to our guests at any point during their stay.
