The place was very clean. It is small and ideal for me as IAm partly handicapped and everything is close enough for me to get around better. The dogs loved the back deck watching the ducks and geese. Over all it was great place to stay.

House was perfect for our needs! Great location! Golf cart was amazing and a necessity for the size of the campground! Kitchen was fully stocked. The campground itself is so nice. Very good vacation spot!

The golf cart was a very nice perk. The size was good for my wife and I, would be a little small for a larger family. The bathrooms were clean but the floors had not been swept nor the beds made. The tv's were a little difficult to figure out but we eventually figured it out. Peggy was very nice and responded to my call concerning getting the tv working.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! It was cozy, comfortable, and the ideal size for our family of four—having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. The golf cart was an absolute highlight and made getting around so fun and easy. Even when a couple of small issues popped up (none of which were the host's fault), she was incredibly fast to reply and resolve them. Having access to the washer, dryer, and beach essentials in the shed made our vacation seamless. Thank you again for opening up your lovely beach house to us!

The golf cart was wonderful. There are roaches and the floors have soft places. The reclining couches are very comfortable as was the bed. There is a toxic odor in the small bathroom. Owner was notified of the roaches.

My, my, my! Thank you KAREN! Leave the doors open and anything will walk in! No roaches in my cottages! You may have seen a few dead then somewhere, and mosquitoes on the back deck from the canal may take a bite, but my Exterminators were there one day before you were there on their routine and you called me on Memorial Day. I had the gentleman to come back out the first thing for your piece of mind on Monday to check…. again!…. that’s what we have to do there in at the resort when we have back to back guest, is get our exterminators to come while guest are not there. But I appreciate your concern! Glad you enjoyed the golf cart though, Karen….. there are plenty of houses to rent at the beautiful Ocean Lakes. Surely you will find one on your next trip that will satisfy you nicely! Enjoy!

Our stay at Bishop’s Beach house was relaxing and conveniently located. We loved having access to a golf cart too! It made for easier travel around the well-complimented facility. The rental had all the necessary kitchen supplies and the living room and kitchen furniture was perfect. And having a king size bed was wonderful!

Perfect house for 4 people. Wouldn’t recommend larger families. House had absolutely anything you could need from: cooking utensils, to beach chairs, multiple grills, linens, nice front and rear deck for relaxing. Check in and out was very smooth. If you need anything the owner responds very quickly. Will probably come back!

My best friend, her toddler and I took a quick vacation for spring break and had the best time. Such a cute and quaint little house. We had the best time riding the golf cart around the neighborhood. We went to the indoor pool which was nice and warm since it was so cold our whole trip and had a blast at the park. Peg was so kind and responds to all messages so quick! It was my first time renting so I was a little nervous but she made it so easy for us.

I would love to have you again in the future for sure!!! I do have openings in September and the rest of the year. Of course, October is Halloween month and the kids (and adults :-) have a blast on the golf carts and handing out prizes and candy!! Perfect beach getaway!

We loved our stay here. The house was very clean and close to everything we could have needed! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back 🙂

Spring get-away

The house was clean, nice kitchen, well-appointed with everything needed, golf cart was a a definite plus, would stay here again.

My name is Peg Bishop from Cleveland, Tennessee. My family and I started camping in Ocean Lakes Family Campground several years ago and have loved it!

We always drove a golf cart around the entire park and would dream of having a Beach House there, thus here I am....and love sharing it with my guest. Blessings to each one!!!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We are not beach front but are fortunate to offer our guest a canal out back which flows from the Magnolia Lake. The Lake is full of all sorts of fish, turtles, swans, Canadian Geese, mallards and cranes. Such a joy to set and watch them all! Also, the cottage has a large front porch...so you can see all the people walking their pets, golf carts coming by and see feathered visitors from the canal out back walk right up to you...but if you feed them...they will leave you something too...ecckkkss! :-)

My Beach House is just a Golf Cart away from the entire beach and you can park in any area that is marked for parking.

Also, my house is Pet Friendly ....... two Pets allowed!
