LOCATION / ABOUT
Bedandview is located in Florence's historical center close to all the most famous sights: the magnificent Piazza Santa Croce, the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte is just around the corner. Piazza dei Ciompi is famous for the Vasari's Loggia del Pesce commissioned in the 16th century, by Duke Cosimo I dé Medici, to house the fish market. The square is also known for its permanent antique / flea market where you can find treasures from the past.
You have an incredible choice of restaurants within minutes and you are moments away from Sant'Ambrogio market, one of the oldest and most famous markets in Florence that is both indoor and outdoor. Just walk around to find fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, clothes and shoes. Then, move inside to find a selection of fresh meat, fish, pasta and cheese. And if you feel hungry, take a seat in their connected restaurant or explore the area around Piazza dei Ciompi and Piazza Santa Croce to discover some of the most authentic restaurants in town.
Coffee shops, bakeries, pharmacies, grocery stores, beauty salons are only steps away. And if you feel like shopping, just walk towards Borgo degli Albizi, via del Corso, via Calzaiuoli and via Tornabuoni.
Train station is only a few minutes by taxi and bus or 15 minutes by foot (a very nice walk through Borgo Albizi, Via del Corso, Via Calzaiuoli, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Antinori and Piazza Santa Maria Novella).
Bus stop 100 meters.
Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport approx 9 km. Guests may take a shuttle bus that runs to Florence's train station (in about 15 minutes). Taxis are also available (about 20 minutes, approximate costs: 22 euros)
If you arrive by car, please note that the suite is placed in a limited traffic area, but we have an arrangement with a nearby garage: they take care of your car's permit and offer you a discount (€ 25 instead of 30).
The apartment is located on the 1st floor, only 21 steps.
No smoking, no pets allowed. Florence tourists tax is extra (€ 3 per person).
