Palchetti Sweet is a delightful apartment located in the historic district of Santa Maria Novella right in the heart of the historic center of Florence. Located in a quiet street with no traffic, the house is very pleasant and welcoming. The apartment consists of a large double bedroom, a nice living room kitchen and a full bathroom with shower. The house can accommodate up to 4 people (there are two single beds and a double sofa bed) and is perfect for a family or a couple planning a romantic getaway in Florence.

We only stayed one night, but were pleased with the VRBO. Easy to check in and out, someone met us in person to check in and the facility was exceptionally clean! It is very centrally located in the city and near many shops and places to dine! Thank you for letting us check in early, we really appreciated being able to drop our bags early!

This was the perfect spot for two people. Location was great. We wanted something near the train so we didn’t have to haul our suitcases far. The street was quiet at night. The windows in the bedroom look out into a triangle of terraces and windows to other living spaces and the curtains were sheer. The WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. The shampoo was nice. Towels were provided. No issues came up with host. We coordinated an early check in which was very easy via WhatsApp. The person letting us in was a bit late, but we still got to check in and be inside more than two hours ahead of our check in time. We had to pay 6/night in cash upon arrival. The person explained everything to us and gave us suggestion for lunch.

Apartment was very clean and apartment manager was very kind let is check our bags early. Location was amazing. Next to pointe Vecchio and also very close by to market and all other attractions. The room was clean and in a perfect location. The bed is extremely uncomfortable though, it’s two very cheap twins beds pushed together. It would have exceeded expectations of the bed was good, but it was awful.

Family holiday

The location was perfect. Short walk to the train station, the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Lots of restaurants, cafes andcothing shops around the corner. A couple of grocery stores within a short walking distance.
