This condo is perfect for couples and families looking for a fabulous time exploring the tidal pools and walking to the village of Ocean Beach, only a 10-minute walk from your condo!

Condo has unparalleled white-water coastline and sunset views from living room, master bedroom and balcony. 15 foot high ceilings! Perfect accommodations for 6 guests in our 1,650 sf 3 bed/ 2 bath beach condo. The sound of waves hitting the rocks just below this vacation home is hypnotic.

Beautiful unimpeded and expansive view down the coastline and across the ocean for whale, dolphin and seal watching. 2 minute drive/ 15 minute walk to fabulous restaurants, local craft breweries, antique stores, massage therapy, quaint shopping in Ocean Beach. Centrally located- Just 15 minutes to Downtown, Zoo, Seaworld, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Petco Park and the Point Loma Tidepools and Lighthouse.

Two secure underground parking spaces included, plus plenty of readily available parking on the street!

I absolutely challenge you to find a comprable condo with this proximity to the beach, within 15 minutes of the airport and so central to all of San Diego's attractions. There are NO vacation rentals like this in La Jolla. You'd be facing 1 hour wait times trying to drive to a vacation rental in Pacific Beach of Mission Beach. I've lived in San Diego for over 30 years and bought this condo knowing it would be the very best value of any condo by the beach.

Robert responded quickly to all of my questions. I really appreciated that. The view was amazing. We loved being so close to the ocean. The condo had a great floor plan. Three bedrooms with king size beds were perfect for us. The great room furniture was very comfortable.One thing we noticed right away was that the carpeting needed cleaning. The kitchen was well stocked. Some containers with lids would have been helpful, and a new sturdier corkscrew would be too. Little things that make a difference. Overall, we loved our stay at the Ocean Cove Condo. We would stay there again.

It was a great place to stay with an absolute stunning view and easy access to the beach! Very comfortable beds and comfortable feeling staying there. Sea World is right down the street and the Zoo a short drive! I only rated it 4 starts because like other reviews, we noticed some small things that definitely need a little TLC (very minor though).

This place is amazing! The view is stunning, the rooms are clean and well equipped with essentials. We did make use of the kitchen as well as the restaurants that are within walking distance. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. We would absolutely love to return to the same place!

Few new items would help property immensely. New coffee maker. Current one takes 20 minutes to brew.New shower rod in guest bathroom.New door lock. Current one had major shut down.New key for front door that works.

Incredible view but an older property that needs maintenance. Master shower had a drain cover with no screws to hold it in place. Sink in master had drain connector that came loose. Other minor repairs that we took care of. Could not get the fan in master to work. Nice furniture and comfortable beds.

Idyllic Stay on Ocean Beach

We really loved staying at this lovely condo right on a beautiful cove in the neighborhood of Ocean Beach in San Diego for six nights. It was fully equipped with everything we could need, including loads of books and several games. The owner was very responsive, helpful, and kind. Extremely comfortable beds and a view to die for. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. It was so nice having a place to park our car, parking is definitely a challenge, but the area is very walkable. Don’t miss the farmer’s market if you’re there on a Wednesday!

Great place to stay especially over the july 4th holiday!

my family had a great time while there. our daughters and 1 boyfriend were with us and we walked down to the beach, ate dinner, swam right outside the condo and watched fireworks 9 minutes from the condo near Dana Miller middle school where you could see all the barges lighting off the fireworks over the water! Great view and no traffic leaving!! even better. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Beachside Home.

This property was wonderful! Located in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The host was exceptional. We loved everything about it and look forward to returning in the future.

Getaway by the cove

This was the perfect spot for our family getaway! Our adult children and younger child loved jumping around in the rolling waves that crash onto the cove. It's fun watching surfers and boogie boarders right from the porch. It's a little adventurous getting down to the cove. There is also a small sandy beach in the cove, but families with younger children would probably prefer to be on the wide open Ocean Beach just to the north, which is walkable from the rental. Lots of great restaurants and breweries within walking distance as well as a couple of grocery options. Very laid back, friendly local vibes. I can't say it enough...amazing location!We had a comfortable stay and found most of the things we needed in the rental. Super comfy beds. Ear plugs might be helpful for light sleepers, but the white noise created by the waves cancels out a lot of the air traffic and late night partying on the beach. Definitely recommended!

Great location

We loved our stay here. Everything was as pictured. Loved the location for exploring and great home base to explore all of San Diego from La Jolla to Coronado Island. Loved having the use to beach towel, beach chairs and boogie boards. The view was the best!! Would stay here again.

50th birthday celebration

The property we stayed was beautiful and had the best view ever! We had six adults stay with us and it was very fun and inviting. Parking was great because we had 3 cars and 3 spaces. We walked to beach daily and walked to downtown Ocean Beach for great food! The owner was very communicative and we had no issues. Would highly recommend this location and would stay there again! Amazing trip for sure. Thank you!

WONDERFUL!

loved our 5 night say....perfect location, we could walk to restaurants and a wonderful market for almost anything you need. The owner let us checkin early allowing us a few extra hours to enjoy the sun and the amazing view!

SD Condo Review

We stayed in this condo in early May. The views were fantastic and access to the cove and beach was easy. Unfortunately, the condo was disappointing. The furnishings and floor plan were not what was represented online. The condo also had lots of deferred maintenance. We will not stay there again.

I first moved to San Diego from Walnut Creek in Northern California in 1985. Lived in an apartment owned by one of my professors who told me (Oh Brother Where Art Thou) "You 'aint no kind of man unless you own some land." So, decided to invest in the community so-to-speak and sourced this highly singular condo as soon as it was feasible.
And now, we own two of them. And they adjoin! Perfect for very small weddings in the cove and honeymoon suite to boot!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The two condos we own are upstairs units with the best white water views I've seen this close to downtown.
If La Jolla offered this kind of view for VRBO (they really don't), then you'd expect to pay 3X's the price. If you're thinking along the lines of Mission Beach, then think again, the traffic will hinder all your summer plans (same thing with La Jolla traffic!).
Ocean Beach is a gentrified hippie community and check's all the boxes for proximity to the Zoo, Seaworld, Downtown, the Airport, etc, as well as providing this incredible proximity to the water and semi-private ocean cove.
