This beachfront retreat features two spacious bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a rare oversized balcony perfect for soaking in the breathtaking views. Relax on the sugar-white sands and take in the emerald-green waters of the Gulf with complimentary beach service, including two chairs and an umbrella, provided from March 1st to October 31st.

Welcome to Unit 302 at The Veranda. A beautifully renovated beachfront condo on serene Okaloosa Island, just five miles west of the Destin Pass Bridge. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gulf-front retreat is steps away from the soft white sand, offering stunning views for your perfect Emerald Coast getaway.

Our beachfront vacation condo will comfortably sleep up to five people, making it an incredible choice for a group vacation with friends and family. Wake up each day to the sound of waves gently falling against the shore, and let the sound lure you downstairs.

The unit is equipped with three TVs, high speed internet and cable television from Cox Cable

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Dining area for 4-5 at the breakfast bar.

Parking is free in our front lot, with no assigned parking. Smaller vehicle parking is also available under the building.

Our balcony is perfect for sipping your morning coffee and dolphin watching. Also a perfect spot for a relaxing evening drink while enjoying spectacular sunsets

Because our condo is in small 9 unit building, it insures our beach is not overly crowded and you will have ample room to socially distance and RELAX!

The condo was very comfortable, clean and great location. Loved the balcony furniture. Would like to have had the Check-in list a few days in advance so that we could have been more prepared with essentials that were needed. Such as extra lg trashbags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent. The weather was perfect and the inclusion of beach service (chairs and umbrella) was a nice touch!! We most definitely be calling you again!! Thanks so much for a great stay.

Awesome condo with great view and beach access!

The condo was great! It was clean and was exactly as the pics depicted it. The view and access to the beach was great! You can't be more than 75yds to the water. The chair service was excellent and although the beach was crowded up and down the beach, it was not at the condo. Another bonus is that you are very close to Stewby's (great food). We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing!!!!

The stay was absolutely amazing. I have stayed at a lot of places but this was the most amazing. The views were phenomenal and the condo was super clean and very well equipped with everything you need. The contact with the owners was extraordinary and super fast. I can’t say enough about our stay here. We will definitely be staying at the Veranda every time we stay at Fort Walton. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Perfect winter weekend getaway

Kim is professional and very nice! In Jan., you never know if it will be nice enough to go out on the beach so view is most important! This was a perfect match for me and my 2 teen daughters. Right on the beach and a great view from the sofa too! One afternoon it was too breezy to stay on the beach so we enjoyed the protected balcony. Q bed comfy. Girls loved the loft. Super clean.

The view was fantastic!! Being on the 3rd floor really highlighted the view of the beach when you walked in. The layout of the space was great, plenty of room for the 4 of us. Having a 2nd bathroom upstairs was a life saver. The space was very clean and up to date. Everything you need in the kitchen. Beautiful and comfortable living space. Full size refrigerator and dishwater. Really enjoyed the umbrella and chairs on the beach. Not overcrowded, almost felt like a private beach. We really enjoyed the sound of the waives from the balcony while we ate dinner. For those who are disabled, there is an elevator! No need to worry about the stairs. There are also 2 carts for bringing your bags upstairs. Only suggestion I have is for the building to have a sign telling smaller cars to please park under the building to leave room for large vehicles outside. Had to park there one night and had maybe 2-3 inches on either side of our full sized pickup truck (between building supports). All in all, we absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We stayed Sun-Sat. Would definitely stay again.

We had a few problems With this stay. The first time we were here, everything was great. This time we found that things were not stocked as well. Nothing in the kitchen to help us store our leftovers. I have found other VRBO to be stocked better. We had issues with the HVAC. However, the owners responded quickly to my concerns

This facility was under construction not good

Had I known there was construction going on I would have made a different choice in lodging. I was not told until I was on my way to Florida 5 days before my arrival way after I made my plans and paid for stay. Dirty and construction on units deck, scaffolding, dumpster, porta potty, no place to park, pool was full of construction material. Will not be back and will not use VRBO again. Unit is dated, worn and dirty. Windows needed cleaning and deck was torn up and had adhesive smell that was bad could open patio door.

Overall, the condo was very clean and beautiful, just like the pictures show. All the furniture and beds are very comfortable. I have stayed at The Veranda before, but never in one of the 2 bedroom units. I have never been disappointed in any of them. This unit is in the middle on 3rd floor. The fact that the location on the beach is perfect with beautiful views is one thing; another is the size of the whole building is not a huge complex, so not a lot of walking to get where you are going, not a lot of noise, except soothing sound of the waves. Only 9 units, all with a beachside balcony and great views, 3 floors above ground, an elevator, shaded parking(under building, a little tight to maneuver but doable), also a very nice clean pool with lots of loungers and chairs, and last but not least, easy access to the beach. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because my sister and I were scheduled to stay for a full 7 nights, yet we were only provided with two washcloths in each bathroom, and not enough towels for entire stay. We had to wash them frequently to have enough. I eventually bought couple extra washcloths and left them there. Also bought extra toilet paper since only one roll was provided in each bathroom for a week. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, but I did buy a crockpot to use and left it there also. My choice because I had planned to fix a roast with vegetables so we could just spend less time running out and more time at the condo on the beach for couple days out of the 7 we were there. A previous condo had one, so I just assumed this one would also. Kim has always been very pleasant and accommodating to rent from. I am thinking the minor issues I had could easily be fixed if more attention by the cleaning staff could match up provided items to the number of people staying and for how long their stay is. Even given these things, I would not hesitate for a second renting again or recommending it to anyone else. Kim, thank you again for a delightful vacation!!! Patty K. & Kathy C. From Missouri

Paradise Getaway

Fabulous experience staying at this property! Outstanding location—walkable to Okaloosa Pier, the Boardwalk stores/restaurants, and stunning views. Beautiful grounds & gorgeous, well-appointed condo decorations—modern beach vibes. So grateful for the kitchen appliances (especially the blender) and UBER comfy bedding. Can’t beat the private pool, balcony, and easy beach access. Also—towels & beach toys + chair/umbrella service made it over the top luxurious & convenient. Camden was quick to reply to inquiries & kindly helped me connect with other property owners so my sister could book the neighbors’ place when we all return next summer. Amazing property & owners!!! Can’t wait to return!!

Home away from home!

This property is absolutely beautiful! The views cannot be beat! The condo was stocked with all we needed and the place is very clean! We were usually the only ones at the pool! It was wide open every day. As well the beach service is so convenient! The owners are so easy to talk to and did check on us our first couple of days into vacation just to make sure we didn't need anything! The calmness of this place is so peaceful! Nothing was over crowded! I highly recommend booking this property, you will love it! Thanks for everything!

This is our second home, not simply an investment property. We live in Nashville, but hope to one day spend more and more time on Okaloosa Island! Until then.. we hope you love our little getaway on the beach as much as we do. We became owners in August 2018. We rent and manage our little beachfront condo by ourselves. We do not own multiple properties, and do not use a property management company. We work very hard to maintain Premier Host status, and strive to provide each guest the best experience by making our home comfortable and functional.

Why they chose this property

We love Okaloosa Island because of it's beautiful, soft, white sand and beautiful emerald green waters. There are days that you cannot tell the difference between our beachfront and the Caribbean! Our beaches on Okaloosa island do not get overcrowded due to the restrictions our county puts on the size and height of commercial properties. Our condo building "The Veranda" only has 9 units, so our beachfront, parking, pool, and elevators are never overcrowded like the big hotels and resorts.

What makes this property unique

All the comforts of home, but with a beautiful oceanfront view of the gulf! Our 3rd floor view from the balcony offers the best view of the beach/ocean and sunsets! Fort Walton Beach does not have the crowds of Destin and Panama City, but is only 5 miles from the Destin bridge. So... our guests can enjoy the best of both worlds.
