Suite w/ Private Entry and Nature Trails ($40 cleaning)

Enjoy your suite with private entry (suite only, NOT whole house) in our new custom built home nestled on 5 acres in Southwest Charlotte. This space was designed and built for the sole purpose of hosting you. Be our guest as you enjoy your sound dampening walls, beamed cathedral ceilings and luxurious walk in shower. Enjoy your coffee alfresco on your private deck that looks out to a tranquil forest. Utilize our hotel-style custom kitchenette. Take a stroll on our nature trails that lead to a trickling creek. Wake up to deer walking in the beautiful forest.

Our location allows you to experience the best of both worlds. In Just 25 minutes, you can reach the airport and uptown Charlotte. Have an adventure only 10 minutes away at Carowinds Theme Park, Cabellas, Whitewater Center, Top Golf, the Outlet Mall, or a nature preserve.

We have a king bed with a new mattress, a full pullout couch and two cots. We also have a corner bench table that can seat 4-6 people.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and the suite was very nice. So much nicer and more relaxing than a hotel room. Unfortunately our schedule did not leave time to explore the nature trails, but it was a nice peaceful setting.

Weekend getaway

We came down for the weekend to watch our son and his band perform. Meghan’s Place was the perfect retreat. You wouldn’t know it was attached to a home as it was quiet and serene. We brought our dog and he loved running around the beautiful woods. It checked all the boxes for us and we would definitely book it again.

Lovely place - secluded and private

My husband and I needed a place to stay the night after dinner at Drift on Lake Wylie and we came across Meghan’s place. This suite was big enough for the two of us. It was very clean and the host provided everything needed plus some. The king size bed and pillows were wonderful! I do recommend this place.

Celebrate being an official teenager

I needed a place for a surprise sleepover for my 13 year old daughter. This was perfect. We especially loved the trails we got to walk through. The owner was very polite. And even though the suite was part of the main house it felt like we were in our separate place.

Surprise lockout

We found the location site and outside view to be just as we had hoped. Only HUGE problem was that we could not gain access with the code we were given. We were not able to reach the owner with the number given and had to drive out of area for cell service to leave a message with owner. Did not hear from the owner at all. We reached out to VRBO who attempted to contact the owner and could not reach them. VRBO asked us to wait an hour for hopeful contact or they would make every effort to find us another VRBO in this area. When owner did not return our call we drove back to the rental facility and found 2 cars in driveway that were not there before. When I knocked on the main house door there was a lady who identified as not being the owner but she was just there and immediately jumped through hoops to help us get access. It turns out the code box battery went bad, wasn't working, so she gave us a key to use for next 4 days. It took about an hour for this all to work out and then we rushed to the venue. Not an ideal experience but in the end it came together.

What a great location. The apartment is really cozy. There were some small cleanliness issues I. Try bathroom (body wash dispenser needed cleaned). The listing said checkout was at 11am everything in that apartment said 10am. That made for a more rushed morning than planned on our final day. On the amazing side, the location is great. Targa Cay, Rock Hill, and south Charlotte have awesome restaurants. The apartment is 20 or so minutes away. The hosts were responsive to our immediate needs. We would rent again.

Cozy hideaway

Absolutely loved staying here. Meghan was so clear with check-in instructions and was very responsive before, during, and after our stay. The place was very clean upon arrival, the bed is SO comfortable and we loved having the coffee to wake up to each morning. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Perfect halfway point on our way to Florida
