Sconset is primarily known for being the center hub of the tranquil and family-oriented East side of the island. Its biggest attractions are Siasconset beach, the Sconset Bluff Walk, and Sankaty Head Lighthouse, all within walking distance of your front porch.

Sankaty Head Golf Club is one of the Eastern-most golf courses in Massachusetts, this real-estate is perched on the edge of Nantucket Island in Siasconset, Massachusetts. The course was designed by Emerson Armstrong and opened in 1923. It is one of the few examples of world-class links-style golf outside of the UK.

The village center, a short walk from this vacation rental, consists of Post Office Square, a roundabout on which you can see the post office, 'Sconset Café and "package goods" (liquor, wine and beer) shop, Claudette's Sandwiches, the Siasconset Market—good for a fresh-cut sandwich or an ice cream cone—and the tennis courts of the Siasconset Casino (tennis club).

We had a wonderful stay at Still Magnolia with our children and grandchildren. The house was clean, well equipped and spacious - perfect for a large family getaway. The beautiful Sconset location made it even more desirable with the beach, shops and restaurants steps away. Our hosts couldn't have been more gracious and responsive. Highly recommend this property to families looking to create special memories.

Doesn't get much better than this.!

Great location on the island. It is walking distance to everything you need. Still Magnolia has that true Nantucket feel from inside and out. Hoping to go back someday and stay there again. All 17 of us loved it!!!

First time on Nantucket

Could not be more pleased. The property was spotless when we arrived. It is beautifully decorated, in an ideal location, a quick walk to the village of Sconset, and provides easy access to the beach. Proximity to the Summer House felt festive and was very convenient. Thoughtful details like beach chairs, towels, and coolers all enhanced the stay. We enjoyed the front porch for coffee in the morning, the picnic tables, and the solo stove. We even took advantage of the bike racks. Plenty of room for our group of 9, including 4 couples. Woody was the perfect host with prompt and clear communication at every turn.

Beautiful Times at Still Magnolia

Our family stay at Still Magnolia was absolutely wonderful. From morning coffee on the front porch to dinners around the huge dining table to game nights on the couches, it was the perfect Sconset home for our extended family gathering. Woody and Tracy have thought of so many nice touches for guests that make you feel right at home and they were in excellent communication as needed. The home is beautifully decorated with lots of comfy gathering areas. For flower lovers, the porch planters, hanging baskets and hydrangeas blooming in the large yard (complete with adirondack chairs and solo stove) were such a treat. We appreciated the downstairs bedroom with attached bathroom for an older family member who would have had difficulty with the stairs. The third floor bedrooms were great for younger family members. We loved our time in Sconset, walking everywhere including the beach and the best ever Sconset Market & Bookstore Wines. Can't wait to return again!

Lovely home close to the beach and town in Sconset, however, some beds were uncomfortable for my family and broken glass missed by the cleaning crew caused one of our family to suffer a cut foot. After paying 32k for a two week stay, we were asked by the host multiple times to “help her cleaning crew do the turnaround by washing the towels before we left”. I have never been asked to do this in any rental homes that I have stayed in previously, nor have I expected this of guests at our own rental property. We did help the host with this ask, but doing so impacted the last day and a half of our stay as we had to curtail our activities to start washing and drying beach and bath towels in a washer/dryer that did not seem up to the task. This was disappointing and diminished the full enjoyment of our stay. The listing does not say anything about the house being across the intersection from the rear of a busy restaurant, The Summer House. The restaurant had noisy trucks there daily for deliveries of food, beverages and supplies, frequent garbage trucks with extremely noisy compactors to the degree that we could not enjoy sitting on the lovely front porch and it could still be heard inside the house. The noise level of this commercial business should be made clear in the listing for the consideration of prospective guests.

Absolutely fantastic!

Best place we have stayed on Nantucket. Location, ownership, and all that the property offers! So many things to list from tons of beach towels to high end linens, beach chairs, kitchen, very clean, property manager was very responsive as was the owner! Again, best place on the island!

Family Summer!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house surpassed our expectations! It was clean upon arrival and very well stocked with towels, beach supplies, etc. We were greeted by the caretaker who could not have been more welcoming. This was our first vacation in three years, with extended family - it is the perfect entertaining house. We hope to be back some day.

Spectacular property!!!

Wonderful Sconset home in perfect location. Ocean views from master bedroom. Entire home is perfectly appointed and has a wonderful feel. Huge outdoor space for Sconset with a fire pit that the kids loved, made S’mores almost every night. Fantastic home for large families. A true gem!

Beautiful stay in Sconset

We had a fabulous stay at Still Magnolia. We are a group of 30 somethings who have been coming to Nantucket for the 4th for years. The Still Magnolia was a great stay for a bigger group our size. Plenty of space and privacy and bigger communal gathering areas. Firepit in the side yard that we roasted some marshmallows on at night. Right down the street from the beach and Summer House. Views of the ocean from the top two floors. Comes with beach chairs and plenty of towels. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed lots of great meals around the dining table and lots of laughs hanging out on the deck. Woody was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend for a great peaceful stay on the island.

Beautiful large house steps from Sconset town and the beach

We had a wonderful time! The house has been beautifully updated and expanded while retaining its original charm. Plenty of space for sleeping and gathering for our extended family. Beach is a very short walk and Sconset center is around the corner. Nice sized yard too.

Wonderful Space for Families

We rented this space for two families, with 6 kids all under the age of 7. It was wonderful! The house is very open on the first floor with a great dining area that can seat 12 comfortably. The house is located within walking distance to a beach and has all the ameneties you'd ever need! With all the bedrooms and bathrooms available this was an excellent experience.

Tranquil Getaway

We had a lovely stay at Still Magnolia in August 2020. The house is spacious and graciously appointed with style. It is well stocked with everything you need and more. It even has paddle boards for your use -- which we used at nearby Quidnet Pond. The kitchen has everything you need, and there are plenty of linens and towels. It is perfect for a family get away or friends weekend. And the location was ideal for us -- steps from the Beach as well as Sconset center. We can't wait to go back!

This was a last minute booking and turns out it was our Best Ever! Beautiful home. Fabulous decor. Every amenity you could ever want. Fantastic location. Terrific owner and caretaker. The cleanest home we've ever rented. Everything worked- television, internet, a/c. Beautifully appointed kitchen. Loved the bed linens and towels. The bathrooms are amazing! Sconset is a charming town and just a block away. Great beach is a house away! Best Ever!
