This beautiful apartment in our home has it all! Easy access to ski resorts, we're just 8 minutes from the mouth of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, Secluded setting with breathtaking mountain views from every room and large deck. Peaceful and private. Open living area and spacious bedrooms, Perfect for a ski getaway or an adventure in downtown Salt Lake City, only 25 min away. We live in the top two levels of the home and offer the private walk-out, full-floor basement apartment to guests. Pool available between April 20 and October 15.

Perfect, accomodating and clean

The hosts are terrific and the home was perfect for our needs. Beautiful view of mountains and roomy inside and out. I would certainly recommend.

Wonderful property!

We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic stay! The pool is amazing. And loved visiting the chickens and goats! They are very quiet too! The hosts are very sweet and helpful!

Ski vacation

Great views and natural light-this VRBO was very spacious, clean, and located in a private neighborhood. We spent our time skiing at Alta and found it easy to access the little canyon. It is also very close to a a variety of restaurants and stores. Worked well for our family!

Peaceful retreat

Charming place with lovely views. Very family friendly. The hosts were helpful but never intrusive. We will definitely go back when we are in Salt Lake City.

Incredible!!!

This place was more than you could ever imagine, the view, the heated pool, the spread of the house, it was fantastic. Hosts are the nicest!

Great family-friendly property

We were in town for a week of snowboarding, and the location was very convenient for the ski resorts. Don and Deanna were hospitable hosts, quick with communication, and they also came out to offer snow toys for our two kids to play with. The kids had a ball playing in the yard and with all the books and games inside. Overall, a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

Home away from home at Skiers Dream

My son and I had a perfect ski week while feeling like we were living in our own home. We settled right into the super spacious and comfortable rooms and utilized the full kitchen to cook our meals and relax/recover from skiing the best snow on earth. The location was ideally located to access Big and Little Cottonwood canyons and was also minutes away from all sorts of shopping and great restaurants. All in all, our stay at The Skiers Dream was all we could have hoped for and wrapped a comfortable bow around an epic ski week we will never forget😎 Thanks again to our gracious hosts!!!

SLC Home With Incredible Views

This beautiful and large home sits atop a knoll with incredible views of the beginning of the Wasatch range. 5-6 mins to the entrance to theWasatch range and 20 mins to Snownird and Alta. 25 mins to Brighton and Solitude. Whole floor and very comfy. Just great hosts and wonderful people. Go if u can and enjoy all UT jas to offer!

Great for Families

We stayed here for our Christmas vacation. The location is great and only about 30mins away from ski/snowboarding activities. There were so many toys for kids so if you are traveling with small children this is definitely the spot. There was a roller coaster, train table, mini kitchen, rocking horse and another whole large closet of toys. My 1.5 year old was thoroughly entertained. There is a small kitchen where we were able to make a Christmas dinner, it was well stocked and had most cooking essentials. The only issues we ran into was the roku being very slow/hard to operate. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fun family time

We had a marvelous stay here! The backyard is gorgeous and there are so many fun things to do. Swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing badminton or volleyball, having a firepit, looking at the goats and chickens. Inside they had supplied a ton of fun toys for our kids, which was so awesome! Our kids never lacked for something to do. It is a little awkward that the master bedroom has the laundry room for the toilet and sink, but not a big deal at all. Also, there are dvds supplied to watch, and fun board games to play. Not to mention that it's 8 minutes from the base of big cottonwood canyon.

Wonderful home near ski mountains

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. Your accommodations will be one level of a family home, which includes 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2 bathrooms (one is half bath so note there is only 1 shower), fully-stocked kitchen, spacious living room and dining space, and even a washer dryer. The beds were very comfortable, we had more than enough blankets and towels. You will need to walk down a few series of short sets of stairs to access it. Free parking spot for 1 car is set aside for you. There is a big grocery store ~5min away. It was ~25min drive to Snowbird/Alta and to Solitude/Brighton and it's about equidistant from both access roads so you can easily visit both sets of mountains in one trip for an Ikon pass family! We enjoyed being so close, having such a spacious area to cook meals and spend time as a family, and overall had a fantastic stay.

For teens and toddlers!

As a family with teens and a toddler it’s hard to find a place that really fits all our needs but this property, Adventure House as my two year old called It , was perfect! The house is stocked with toys perfect for the toddlers! My son played for hours! My teens loved the pool and swam every day we were there! All four of my kids loved the ducks, goats, dog and trampoline! As the reviews say the owners do live there but that wasn’t weird or awkward to us. I worked downtown three days we were there and the trax was close enough to take into downtown. We spent one day at Snowbird and this property is just 25 minutes away! Perfect place and when we come back to SLC for work we’d stay again John and Heather

Wonderful visit

I loved staying in this home. The owners were so kind and accommodating. I enjoyed the spacious apartment and the beautiful grounds. We used the pool nearly everyday as the hosts were very gracious. I will readily stay again as it has been the perfect place to reunite with family this summer.

Great but not private pool

We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful and the surroundings are outstanding. The hosts are super kind & give lots of great tips and activities to do in the area. The house is stocked full of toys for the littles. They even have goats and chickens. However if booking you do need to know that the owners live there and they use the pool and are present around the property most of your stay. We were super disappointed when we couldn’t use the pool for a whole afternoon of our trip due to a pool party they had scheduled. I’m addition it felt un comfortable to ask the host every time we wanted to swim, so they could uncover it. Overall a wonderful home with tons of toys and a great layout, and amazing kind hosts however not sure we would be back.

We had a comfortable stay, bathroom situation was not helpful.

We had a comfortable stay but the bathroom situation was not helpful as we were a family of 7 with 4 adults and 3 kids. We booked the house because it was advertised as 2 bedroom and 2 bath, but actually it was 1.5 bath because the second bathroom just has a seat and sink and no shower, that too in a laundry room The hosts were very kind and accommodating, they did their best to accommodate us with extra mattress, blankets and access to the pool.Moreover, they were quick to answer all our questions. House is beautiful, but the electronic appliances are outdated and need to be replaced.

Good not Great

The Good: location, views, clean, roomy, pool was nice and warm. The Bad: Claims to sleep 8, we could only sleep 6. Didn't notice in the description that the owners live upstairs, they also let out the lower basement. The separations between the main house and the guest sections are makeshift and don't inspire enough confidence, I was uncomfortable. Weird that the space still has large family photos. Most egregious was the "private pool" was used by the owners during our stay, making my kids not want to go swimming until they were done.

Immaculate rental with great room

This rental was perfect for our family. There was a large great room with a fun sofa. We had our grandchildren come over to play with the awesome toys. There were games for the teenagers and everyone enjoyed the goats. The master bedroom was quiet and used as a work space. We were very pleased.

Wonderful find!

This roomy, sunny property consists of an entire level of a 4-level home. Spacious, well-appointed and hosted by a very responsive, caring family. I heartily recommend this property.
