Stå ensam gäststuga. Vi har precis slutat lägga till ny matta och måla i december 2016 tillsammans med granitbänkskivorna i köket och den nya bakplattan. Nya möbler och nya sängar med duntäcken. Inga husdjur. Privata hem med vacker utsikt över Little Cottonwood Canyon. Mindre än 10 minuter till Alta och Snowbird skidorter. Nära Brighton och Park City skidåkning också. Nyligen lackeras och redo för en avkopplande semester. Njut av gas spis och titta på snön faller. Lätt promenad till bussen / Infarts både Alta och Snowbird skidorter. Tillgång till badtunna och grill. Lusthus område. Vardagsrum med stor HD-TV, BluRay och direkt-TV med filmkanaler, matplats, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, badrum på huvudnivån. 1 sovrum på huvud och 1 stort sovrum på övervåningen med 1/2 badrum. Loftet har en dubbelsäng, bekväm kärleksstol, 32 tums HD-TV med BluRay och massor av DVD-skivor. Skidförvaring. Gasspis, mikrovågsugn, bänkskivor i granit, kaffebryggare, Ninja Blender, gratis kaffe, varm choklad och te.

Check in was very easy and the owner met us and gave us a quick tour. They have a helpful video all about the property and where to park. We arrived late at night and this made things much more straightforward.

It was smaller then the pictures made it look. My husband kept hitting his head on the ceilings. We got in the hot tube but there was so many chemicals it hurt our eyes and made us cough the whole time. It was very beautiful and peaceful. They really think about a lot of things you might need.

The ultimate staycation

My only regret of this wonderful cozy place is that I didn't enjoy it more. For someone who is a workaholic in their professional life and 100% INHERENTLY lazy in their personal life, this place is perfect. Every nook and cranny is inviting and made for comfort. Such a cute little place. The outdoor space was great. The view is amazing. And the owner was super friendly and answered questions right away. The little touches throughout were so thoughtful. If you want a little fun adventure right on the property the owners put out little birds in the backyard to find. I highly recommend this property.

Cozy

This was a very cozy cottage. The owners had literally everything you could need. I had forgotten my razor and there was one provided. The kitchen was well stocked, even though we never cooked. Overall a very positive experience. This is right next to the owner’s house so you will see them tending their garden and letting their dogs out, so I could see some may wish for something a little more private. However, they were never intrusive and pretty much left us alone. The location was spectacular, and the views breathtaking.

Awesome Property

My daughter and I stayed for some spring skiing. Location was absolutely perfect to access both Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. Cottage was clean and cozy. Hosts were friendly and welcomed us with delicious homemade bread and salsa. We were even able to throw a lacrosse ball in the beautiful backyard. We hope to go back again.

A peace of tranquility

The Ivy Cottage is a great place to stay while visiting SLC. The cottage has everything one would need. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were easy to work with and were very considerate (they even provide some treats, which were much appreciated). We were skiing and this location was great as it was very close to the slopes (10 minutes from Alta or Snowbird). The views were fantastic and setting was very peaceful. Would have loved to see the garden as one can tell that it is well taken care of.

Ski Trip to Alta/Snowbird/Snowbasin

We have been staying at the Ivy Cottage for several years for our Spring Break ski trips. It is right at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon and super convenient for skiing at Alta/Snowbird. It is also fully equipped to cook your own meals and close to local shopping. The hosts are excellent as well and we will be back!

2 week ski vacation

We rely on reviews when selecting a place to stay, and the positive reviews of this place do not reflect reality. Likely the positive reviews are due to the owners being such outwardly nice people. Eric greeted us on our arrival, showed us the place, let us know he was available for us but would respect our privacy; and he did. He provided us with a bottle of wine for our stay, home-made salsa from Shauna’s garden, chips, and even brought us freshly baked biscuits one day during our stay. The good:1.Possibly the best stocked place we’ve ever stayed.2.Owners were responsive, prompt, friendly, outwardly respectful.3.Location can’t be beat.The bad:1.Although the place was clean on the surface, we both experienced significant allergy-induced respiratory issues while there, even though we ran the air-purifier non-stop and kept the bathroom fan/heater on during the day. This had a noticable impact on our stay and was our major issue with the place.2.Cluttered. Too much stuff crammed into too small of space, leaving little usable counter, tabletop, end table, shelf, or even under-bed storage space.

I grew up in Utah. Married for over 41 years with 4 adult children and 10 grandkids. We moved to the Sandy area for our Children to be closer to their grandparents. We love the area and the people and want to share this fantastic location with you.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love living at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. We enjoy the wildlife that come to visit our yard. They love the pine trees and the deer like to munch on apples hidden in the snow during the winter or maybe steel a tomato from the garden. Lots of birds for those who love to listen to them sing or just like to watch them. We are close to many bike and hike trails for our summer time guests.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This area feels comfortable with majestic views of the canyons and large trees. Quiet, dead end road with large yards. Gas fireplace to create that romantic atmosphere. Even though we are right at the mouth of little cottonwood canyon, we are not on a busy road. We sit on a ridge to the west of Wasatch Blvd which gives us awesome view of the canyon. We've tried to provide everything you can think of to make your stay a fabulous experience. We are easy to reach and are happy to give you a tour of the property. We respect your privacy.
