This lovely, tastefully decorated 3 BR home is 4/10 mile from the soft sands of spectacular Good Harbor Beach. Whether taking a morning walk or packing a cooler and chair, you're a short walk away. All 3 cozy bedrooms are on the 2nd floor as is the full size bath. A 1/2 bath with washer/dryer is on the first floor off of the open kitchen. The large 16X22 deck and private backyard are perfect for after beach barbeque's. That is, after you've rinsed off the sand in the enclosed outdoor shower. Downtown Gloucester, Rt 128 and Rockports Bearskin neck are minutes away.
The location and amenities make this a perfect home away from home for families with children of all ages. We would love to hear what brings you to Gloucester!

This was an excellent house for our group. We had an amazing time. Plenty to do nearby, but we mainly did a few day trips and hung out at the house. We cooked some delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen, and relaxed either on the deck or the very comfortable living room. It is definitely a place we would go back to!

Felt like Home

My family and I were in the area for a wedding. Found this property and glad we did. Plenty of space, clean, and quiet. It felt like home to us. The host was attentive and friendly. We would love to visit the area again, and we’d definitely stay at this property in the future if we could.

Great autumn retreat

Our group of 6 enjoyed our stay very much. We would highly recommend it. The beaches are wonderful and the food is great in the area. We even had a guest at the house a couple of turkeys roosting in the trees.

Thanksgiving stay

We had a relaxing Thanksgiving stay! The house was spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen and family room which was open and allowed us all to be together while preparing meals. The house had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. The turkeys who walk through the yard frequently were a big hit! We’d love to visit again when we could enjoy the beach and restaurants more!

Clean, roomy, well stocked

We really enjoyed staying here! The house was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together playing games, and also enough room for quiet time alone for reading etc. The back deck was lovely, and we enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet, and the turkey family strolled through the yard daily. We would definitely stay here again :)

Massachusetts Beach House

We had an enjoyable stay on Starknaught Road. The house is very nice, very clean. They provided specific instructions about their expectations for leaving the house just the way we found it for the next person. The appliances were in very good condition, we cooked for about 20 people and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The price is very reasonable for such a big house. It provided lots of privacy and it’s just a short walk to the beach. The beautiful beach! It was a pleasure to do business with Mike King. He responded promptly to my inquires and offered help from his brother or father if we needed anything. Nice guy. It was my first trip to New England in many years. I still can’t get over how beautiful Gloucester is. If you’re looking for a family get-away, it doesn’t get any better than #177143.

Great property

This was a great place close to town and the beach. It was a guy fishing trip. We're all looking forward to coming back again, not only to fish, but to hang with the family of turkeys that patrolled the neighborhood, day and night. Great time.

Wedding weekend in Gloucester

The property was advertised. Very clean, nice quiet neighborhood, short walk to beach(not a beach day, but nothing beats the fresh salt air!). The house was a short drive to the wedding venue and worked out great! Thank you again and have a happy Spring/Summer!

Great location and a place that felt like home.

Can walk to beach. Close to grocery stores and Rockport. House was decorated nicely, beds comfortable, very well stocked kitchen. Lots of space. House rules are clear. Host responded quickly to all correspondence.

“Our stay was fantastic! The property was incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable. The beds were wonderful, and the new couch exceeded expectations.
