Wonderful apartment, charming and very elegant, located in a recently refurbished building in the quaint Alfama district. This is with no doubt the perfect place to stay. Alfama is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Lisbon. It survived the big earthquake (1755), so it's quite charming and genuine, as most of buildings and streets are the same as they were many years ago.
This apartment is situated on the first floor of a totally refurbished building, and consists of two bed rooms (4 single beds), living/dining room with A/C (with heating option), fully equipped kitchen and 2 WC/bathroom (one with shower and the other one with bathtub). It accommodates up to 4 people. One bedroom and kitchen have access to a private terrace. Linens and towels are included, as well as dishes, hair dryer, iron, etc.

It's within walking distance from downtown (Baixa), Castle of São Jorge, beautiful viewpoints of Portas do Sol, Graça and Senhora do Monte, the famous flea market - Feira da Ladra , and legendary tram No. 28. It is three minutes away from the Santa Apolónia train/metro station, it has a few banks and a pharmacy in its surrounding. In the neighbourhood, you can find several typical restaurants with fado, lots of small cafes, bars, and local shops.

We are here to provide all the advice for a pleasant stay, and will do our best to help in anything you may need!

- During the month of JUNE Lisbon celebrates with street parties in Alfama (particularly the 12,13, 14 June). These last until 2am from thursdays to sundays and the streets are filled with stalls selling Grilled Sardines, Sangria, Wine & Beer. If you like a good street party where you can feel all the traditional atmosphere of this important celebrations, this is really the best place to be. If you are looking for a quite holiday this is not the place to stay during this period.

- Check-in between 21h00 and 23h00 has a fee of 20€. Between 23h00 and 01h00 the fee is 30€.

Great apartment in good location

Wonderful stay. Recommend the first day out to follow The tram tracks down to the waterfront. This will be the easiest route back. Fantastic coffee cafe across the street. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect quiet location

Easy to walk to attractions and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Slept in until noon one day, that is how peaceful this area is. Management met us upon arrive and hung out for awhile for another traveler to join our group. Very kind and patient.

Great base for enjoying Lisbon

This is a lovely property. It's laid out so well. The terrace in the back is cozy. The bedrooms are quiet. The living room is very comfortable -- and large enough for us all to stretch out at the end of the day. I highly recommend this place.

Alfarma at it’s best

The four day stay was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was superb for just walking out or for transport links to the wider city. There were taxis up to the front door as well as a tram stop only meters away. In the near community were small bars, coffee shop and restaurants. An excellent place to stay to explore Lisbon.

Everything as Described!

We loved the location. So close to everything you would need. Communication was excellent and entry was easy. Place was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Big kitchen and livingroom. Tram 28 on our doorstep and an excellent coffee shop across the street You will not be disappointed!

Great location. Easy to get around.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab across the street was amazing. The trolleys are right outside the door… so it can be noisy if that bothers you… it didn’t bother us. Unit is well appointed. Could have used a few more towels for our 5 night stay. Check in was easy and all of our contact with owner/manager was very positive. We had no issues with anything in the unit. Great stay.

Old town location

The apartment was fine and large enough for two couples, but could be managed better. A number of items were broken or needed repair, but were fixed during our stay. A binder with instructions and useful information would have been helpful.

Great location in Alfama

The apartment is a lovely spacious place that is close to many great restaurants and sites in Lisbon. Our only issue was that we didn’t have quite enough information about the area and the workings of the apartment and had to fumble around a bit. The AC didn’t work in the living room and the washing machine was very difficult to operate. Other than that, we loved the place!

Great location

This was a great property for my family and I. We were four adults and the apartment was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed having our breakfast on the balcony. The air conditioning in the rooms was a big plus as we were there in August. Juan was great in communicating with us before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Spacious Apartment in a picturesque district.

The apt was clean and spacious. It contained everything we needed for 2 couples for 5 nights. The tram 28 passed right in front and the metro was a 10 minute walk downhill. Even though we were in the heart of the Alfama district, the apt was relatively quiet. We really appreciated the terrace off the kitchen for sitting and reading or hanging out our clothes. The air conditioning worked very well. The only I suggestion I have is to supply and extra light sheet for each bed for those of us who don’t care to sleep with the a/c on. We would highly recommend this apt to others.

Appartement superbe situé dans la vieille ville, très typique et plus calme. Séjour avec 2 ados, il y a 2 chambres et 2 sdb/wc, tout est impécable et propre, le confort aussi. ET l'accueil, royal ! Juan et sa nièce sont aux petits soins, nous avons été accueillis avec les fameuses pâtisseries ! Absolument adorables et disponibles ! Je recommande !

Excellent property, strategically located in the center of Alfama

First of all, it is how is shown in the pictures. Or better. Delivered very clean, and everything was working, The only think that you need for the first night, either beer/wine or milk, for the next morning. Which you can get 50 m from there. Be careful when you open the door the first time you leave the premises. You may find the trolley #28, the famous, running in front of the building. An amazing experience! It happened to us. You can get to any Alfama location within 15 minutes wallk. You can get downtown within 25 minutes walk. We were 4 adults and stayed 4 days. With all the features you can stay way longer: has a washer machine and can hang clothes outside in the private patio. Don't want to do dishes? Has a dishwasher. All well thought. It does have an internal parking so you do not need to move around with the car, which is very difficult. Has a decent size TV with channels in all languages; as well as very fast internet. In summary, I do recommend this property while visiting Lisbon/Alfama.

Enjoyed the appartment, and appreciated getting parked offstreet in Alfama. Couple of niggles - TV did not work, windows to street from bedroom and bathroom were very public and No-one let us know checkout was running late. We had to phone and make our own arrangements.

Smart apartment, located in traditionl and vibrant part of a beautiful city.

Fantastic location in an incredible city. Tram stop right outside apartment and short walk from traditional eateries. Very smart decor, lovely courtyard and air conditioning, essential. Very secure and parking on site. Met by welcoming and knowledgable host, who told us everything we needed to know. Definitely planning to return.

Tram 28 is right outside of the door, very convenient. Great location, close to major attractions and apartment is clean and spacious. Owner is extremely helpful. We had an evening flight on departure day and the owner let us stayed until it was time to go to airport. This is above and beyond. We highly recommend this place.

Better than expectations, lots of common room, and the perfect part of town.

We stayed here for a week and it felt like home. The private patio out back was great for hanging out every morning before we went out and then late at night. We walked most places because of how close it was to everything, and Juan was awesome. Very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We would 100% go back.

Great location! Great apartment !

Love this apartment. It feels like home. It is clean and spacious just like it is in pictures. Bathrooms and kitchen are newly refurbished. We are a family of four and stayed for 6 nights, and we were very comfortable here. Loved air conditioning in every room. Most major attractions are within walking distance. The owner tries very hard to satisfy our needs and we're very helpful in every way. We highly recommend this apartment.
