I'm Welsh, I met my Icelandic wife 3 years ago when she was working as an au-pair in Wales. After working and living in Spain for a while we decided to move to back to Iceland and started a family. I work in agriculture here, growing fruit and vegetables in geothermally heated greenhouses.

What makes this property unique
It's a nice old timber framed building that used to be the old schoolhouse. It's located in a quiet part of town (not that the town is particularly noisy,) but it's very central, a 5 minute walk will get you to the supermarket, restaurants, harbour etc. Great for tourists, we are in the middle of the diamond circle - an hours drive will get you to spectacular waterfalls, picturesque canyons, stunning coastlines, dramatic lava fields and expansive lakes.
