Discover the charm of our five-bedroom/four-bath town home getaway located in the unique Village of Point Venture on Lake Travis, just 20 miles northwest of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. There is a private boat dock available only when the water level reaches 670. (See note * below) Gather your loved ones and immerse yourselves in the perfect blend of comfort and adventure.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator and all the necessary appliances to satisfy your culinary cravings with two dining areas on the main level. Enjoy grilling on our Weber gas grill on the main deck where there is an additional dining area all while taking in the breathtaking lake views.
There is Wi-Fi and 5 smart TVs accessing YouTube TV. throughout the house. Plus, two DVD players and a Nintendo game console.
Challenge your friends to a game of ping pong in the game room located downstairs where there is an additional small living area.
For the little ones, there's a travel crib, booster seat and baby gates to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.
Point Venture has many activities available for residents and guests including a 9-hole golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, swimming pool, gym, and library. The private park has many activities to enjoy also, including a well-equipped playground, 9 hole frisbee golf course, sand-volleyball, and basketball. When the lake level is low, there is a beautiful sandy beach. The private boat ramp is located in the park as well.
The Park and amenities are accessed by provided keycards only. (See note** below)
After a day of activities, relax at the Caddie Shack Sports Bar located at the golf course or Captain Pete's Boathouse restaurant located at the Point Venture Marina or the 4th Quarter Bar and Grill located at the entrance of Point Venture.
Explore Lake Travis where you can enjoy a variety of water activities and outdoor adventures. Liquid Thrillz boat rentals is located at the Point Venture Marina for your convenience.
Whether you're seeking relaxation or excitement, our 5-bedroom vacation home in Point Venture has everything you need for an unforgettable getaway.

Excellent Location and House

We came in to visit Lake Travis for Labor Day weekend and chose this house for our stay. From the time of booking to check-out, it was all a pleasurable experience.

Great house in a great location!

Our large family group enjoyed a great weekend here. House was very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone and kitchen was super well equipped. Great location even with the low lake levels.

Family gathering

We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving. There were several different age groups and the space worked very well. The pictures made the living area look larger than it actually was but it did accommodate all of us. There were a lot of dishes and accessories that were really appreciated. There were some spices available. We had a great stay.

Stay here!

We enjoyed the stay. Had to get with the Host once on a minor issue. They responded quickly and courteously. The accomodations are wonderful. The amenities are close by. The kids loved the house as well as the adults. You won't be disappointed!

Family Christmas

The house was located in a nice area that was close to where my other family members were staying. It is a bit older - lots of wood and mirror walls throughout the home- but was clean. Everything worked as expected and the owners were terrific to work with us. They even put up lovely holiday decorations. We noticed an odd smell in one of the bedrooms that might have been related to an animal of some sort.

Spacious and Comfortable

The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing family get a way. We enjoyed the board games and the teenagers loved the ping pong table.

Great Point Venture Townhome

Eight family members enjoyed our stay during the 2024 Eclipse. The home was well kept and comfortable with all the kitchen facilities we needed for our group. Short walk to pool gym dock and restaurant. Hosts were very easy to work with. Glad we came!

Although the lake is vey low and there is a record heat wave, we enjoyed our family together time at this condo. The owners were very accommodating!

Great stay

Easy check in. Everything worked out great. We had to really look for the check out instructions, but found them under "damages". There wasn't water in this finger of the lake, but that was okay (and the owners told us upfront about it). Lots of stairs, lots of bathrooms!

Beautiful spacious home

This is our second time back to this home and we fall in love with it more every time. It is big and spacious for our large family. The neighborhood has amazing views and is really quiet and private. The hosts are great at communicating with you. They are very helpful and their response time is great.

Great Place for July 4th

Our family of 10 planned this back in November and we were so glad that we did. We all had more than adequate room to spread out and so enjoyed the dock and swimming, etc. We were able to watch fireworks from the top balcony on July 4th, which was such a treat. Saw lots of deer, even the black doe, and just had a beautiful family trip together. Ricki was very gracious and helpful. Hope future guests enjoy their stay as much as we did.

Best hosts in Point Venture

Our youngest child turned 18 and to celebrate him and his next chapter in life, we wanted to go to a familiar favorite- Lago Vista area on Lake Travis. We were thrilled to have stumbled on this place; Ricki and Mary are excellent communicators and enhanced our experience with the tips and responsiveness! The home was clean, comfortable, and lots of room to spread out. We loved the 70’s vibe! The location was perfect in the community- just a few steps from the pool and near the marina. The lake was too low to enjoy their dock, but I can imagine that when it’s high enough, it’s a short and easy path to water. Check in was so easy, the surrounding neighbors were kind, and the balconies and views were serene at night. Great spot - will be back!

Fantasy Football Draft Weekend

Our families came from several cities in Texas to visit and get the kids and grandkids together. We also had our 8th Annual Fantasy Football Draft too. The home accommodated all of us. The pingpong table was a big hit with the kids. The AC kept up with the Texas heat and we enjoyed both the front and back porches. The deer sightings were a real treat too. Overall it was a great Labor Day weekend.

Townhome on the lake

This place is decorated very well AND comfortable. We didn’t want for anything. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels. Tissue boxes in each room. Games. Sitting areas all over the property. Also the place was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. There’s a great restaurant down the street. Truly the food was yummy. Communication with the owner was easy. Very nice people.

Great Quiet Getaway for Family Time

My family loved staying at this lake house in Point Venture. The bedrooms across three levels and many bathrooms were perfect for my group which included age ranges from 3 to 93. The lower level was great for the kids to head to bed early and the main level made it easy for the older folks in the group to avoid stairs. The amenities close by, including the gym and park, were enjoyed by all ages. I was also traveling with my two black labs and there were lots of great walking trails nearby for them to enjoy. The house itself was comfy, the neighborhood quiet, and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking and brewing coffee for a large group. While the cove happened to be dry during our visit following the bad drought in 2022, that didn't stop us from enjoying the multi-tier deck and the sunrise views. We would definitely stay here again for our next lakeside getaway.

Family reunion

This is a lovely house with plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 toddlers plus newborn baby. The kitchen is well stocked. The card key passes to all of the Club amenities came in handy because although there was no water for the house’s back yard dock, there were plenty of other activities like swimming, pickle ball and tennis to keep us occupied. The ping pong table downstairs is a great bonus, especially on a hot summer afternoon when you need to stay in the AC! A minor drawback is that there is no backyard to play in - instead there are 3 decks which are nice but not toddler friendly for active play. There is a great private park with a playground and sandy beach but you need to drive to it. Also lots of deer roam freely - lovely to see them graze.

Perfect space for a relaxed weekend

We rented this venue for a weekend of board gaming with friends. This condo has an amazing mix of spaces both inside and out that provide options for group or individual hang outs. Be aware that when the lake is low you have to walk a ways to the water, but that wasn't our focus anyway. We had a great time!

This VRBO was wonderful!

The owner always responded immediately. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough serving pieces, pots and pans, etc. lots of towels in every bathroom. Clean. Spacious. Thank you for a beautiful weekend.❣️

Fantastic Property with Plenty of Space

Ricki was phenomenal in her pre-arrival service and made herself available regularly. The property was exactly as advertised with plenty of space for me, my wife, 2 kids, parents and my uncle. There are terraces/balconies on each floor providing an opportunity to get away and is within walking distance of Lake Travis. We will definitely book mark her property in hopes we can stay here again.

Great place!

Short weekend trip for my birthday. House could use updates in a few places but some of the nostalgic items were a nice touch. Overall great place, would have been nice if the water had been at the dock but we knew about that prior to going out there. All in all a great time. Lots of stairs!

Jamie and Ricki are brother and sister and our families have always enjoyed doing things together, especially water sports. We loved the idea of a place big enough and with plenty of bedrooms for our families to get together. We just love coming to the lake, relaxing, hanging out with family and enjoying the lake, grilling and fishing.

We know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Lake Travis is one of the most beautiful lakes in TX and we love the TX Hill country. We chose Point Venture because it is on the North side of the lake and closer to Cedar Park where Jamie and Mary live. The cove we are in is so nice and peaceful and has beautiful sunrises. Point Venture offers so many wonderful amenities like a 9-hole golf course, Swimming pool, Tennis courts, Pickle Ball courts, Exercise Gym, Library, private 50 acre park with Frisbee Golf, basketball court, Volley ball net, play ground, covered pavilion, boat launch and Fuel dock at the Gnarly Gar floating restaurant.
