Tourangelles typical charming houses for 8 adults or children, in the vineyards, quiet, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the Loire Valley, listed as a "Unesco World Heritage".

Set of three buildings restored, independent, comfortable, around a flowery courtyard garden, beautiful garden and enclosed garage, large swimming pool of 11 x 6 m surrounded by a wooden deck, shade garden with view the pool.
The three houses are always rented together, for a single family / group.
Enclosed parking.

Many beautiful castles of the Loire to visit (within 25 km of the house), Langeais, Chinon, Saumur, Rigny-Ussé, Gizeux, Villandry, Azay-le -Curtain ...
Famous vineyards region, Loire wines are not to be missed, Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas, Chinon, Saumur-Chamigny for red wines and Vouvray, Saumur, Chinon, Coteaux du Layon ... for white wines, dry or sweet.
The cellars excavated into soft rock limestone, are mysterious places, where wine tastings offered by the winemakers of the region have a special charm.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit an der Loire. Das Anwesen ist wirklich traumhaft: ein großzügiger Pool, ein toller, gepflegter Garten und viel Platz zum Entspannen. Auch die drei einzelnen Häuser sind in gutem Zustand – gut ausgestattet und gemütlich.Einziger Wermutstropfen: Im größten der drei Häuser gibt es im Schlafbereich bzw. angrenzenden Bad nur eine Badewanne und keine separate Dusche. Das ist kein Drama, sollte man aber wissen.Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war jederzeit angenehm und hilfsbereit – von der unkomplizierten Abstimmung vorab bis zur Abreise hat alles reibungslos funktioniert.Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil, ideal für Familien oder Freunde, die gemeinsam reisen und zugleich etwas Privatsphäre schätzen.

Lovely house. The pool was a delight after sightseeing in the morning.Quite easy to find. Wi-fi Good. Laura (the cleaning lady) very helpful and the host- Catherine- replied extremely quickly to any emails. Would highly recommend.

Charmant séjour dans un écrin vert hors du temps, avec potager, belle piscine et maisons traditionnelles parfaitement équipées, le tout au milieu des vignobles, à quelques kilomètres des châteaux et des abbayes. Recommandé.

Maison calme au milieu des vignes

Une très belle résidence séparée en 3 lieux différents donnant sur un grand jardin magnifique et une grande piscine. Les photos sont conformes à la réalité nous avons passé avec mes amis une super semaine de vacances.

Overpriced

The houses while decorated in typical french style are cluttered with ornaments and other things which would not be suitable for young children. The kitchens are small and also over cluttered making them difficult to use. Bathrooms are small and not modern and the air vents hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Bedrooms were ok but the beds are small so if you are over 5ft 7 (170cm) your feet will hang out of the bed. Our room attached to the owners house had a daily ant infestation which wasn’t pleasant. Pool and garden area is overgrown and in need of repair. When we contacted the owner on the first day we used the pool because decking was cracking and lifting she wasn’t very helpful at all and did nothing to review or solve the problem. The local village and surrounding area with good restaurants is nice. Overall overpriced - we stay in France every year and have stayed in locations with much better facilities and pool area for less.

Fantastique!

Extraordinaire propriété au milieu des vignes. Calme absolu, piscine très grande et agréable! Le fait d’avoir plusieurs maisons est très apprécié des ado qui jouissent d’une certaine indépendance. Les jardins (oui, au pluriel) sont splendides, remplis de fleurs et d’arbres de multiple essences. Il y a un petit côté « Alice au pays des merveilles » avec les nombreux recoins et passages au milieu de cette végétation! Un vrai petit paradis…. Même les chiens se sentaient en vacances! Seul bémol: la cuisine est trop petite et peu pratique. Les araignées sont nombreuses!

Relaxing and peaceful with superb pool and charming outside facitlies

Superb pool and charming outside areas. Kitchen well equipped but small for size of propeprty and toilet arrangements for main house bedrooms less than good. Would stay there again without hesitation.

mooie streek, een zeer slechte verhuurder.

1 waarschuwing: huur dit huis niet! er zijn een aantal redenen om dit huis niet te huren, het lijkt op de foto's allemaal mooi maar in werkelijkheid is het allemaal anders. je komt bedrogen uit. wat dan zal u denken: er staat dat er wifi is, die is er helaas voor de kinderen dus niet. ergens in een hoekje van de tuin is er een heel slecht signaal, dus als het regent, als je s' avonds binnen zit, as je bij het zwembad zit, als je in de tuin bent, er is geen internet, lokaal staat er in de advertentie dat het wel zo is. er staat ene huisje voor 8 personen, helaas zijn er maar 3 wijnglazen aanwezig. je betaald absurd veel borg die je uiteindelijk niet terug krijgt. de verhuurder reageert ook niet meer op e-mails en SMS. kortom je komt bedrogen uit

Perfect stay in Bourgueil

Its a really nice, quit, beautiful stay in Bourgueil, surrounded by vineyards. The house and garden are lovely, not that modern, but everyting is there for a good holiday.

Nous avons passé un super moment en Famille Les 3 maisons permettent une autonomie parfaite Aucune critique Grand confort Madame Hacquebard est toujours disponible pour répondre aux questions Le jardin est magnifique Quant à la piscine que du bonheur Une résidence à recommander sur tous les points La région permet la visite de nombreux Chateaux, de Caves et mème de maisons troglodytes et pour les Passionnés d équitation Saumur n'est pas loin La maison est perdue au milieu des vignes Grand calme absolu A RECOMMANDER

Beautiful houses, pool & gardens in a perfect location.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday with our 3 adult sons and 2 of their girlfriends, plus our dog! Catherine and her husband were there to greet us and then we had the houses to ourselves. The arrangement of the big house, little house and annex room gave us all some privacy whilst having lovely space to be together. We tended to use the main house kitchen for all food storage and preparation and the little house kitchen for drinks :-) We BBQd outside every evening and sat in the lovely space between the properties. Plenty of hot water and no complaints about the showers, bath, toilet etc. The pool area is fabulous with lots of space and lovely gardens surrounding. We were able to pick Catherine's tomatoes and courgettes too. The shady covered area adjacent to the pool, we didn't use much as it needed some cushions, but nice for during the day if you needed to get out of the sun. The houses are full of charming ornaments, some of which we moved out of the way during our stay! We didn't want to break anything. We walked into Bourgueil numerous times through the vineyards. About 25 mins, a lovely walk. The market on a Tuesday is worth a visit, selling everything from live chickens to clothing! We bought tasty cooked food, olives and cheese. There is a huge Hyper U supermarket 5 minutes drive away. It absolutely stocks everything, food of a really good quality and wonderful local wines. We walked in the vineyards in the evening with our dog and the starry skies were beautiful. We would love to go back!

Beautiful buildings

This is a great spot with some great buildings within easy reach of Bourgueil. We had a very good holiday. The buildings are recently renovated although the antique furniture wouldn't be to everyone's taste and part of the complex still seems to be WIP. There is a great pool and garden.The site says pet friendly which is true up to a point.

Un lieu magique

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse quinzaine dans cette propriété exceptionnelle. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme, l'authenticité, la décoration et le confort des maisons, mais aussi la piscine, grande et bien exposée, mais encore le jardin, joliment paysagé, plein de coins, de recoins et de délicieuses ressources (fruits et légumes à profusion lors de notre séjour début Août).

Charming traditional French accommodation with a lovely garden and pool for a hot summers day.

The 2 houses and ensuite bedroom suited us perfectly as my sisters family of 4 had the big house (2 bedrooms 1 bathroom), Dad and I had the small house (1bedroom ensuite) and my brother in laws mum had the ensuite. All facing into the lovely garden with a fabulous big lime with a table for breakfast under it, and other smaller trees for shade. We loved the pool which we used every day to the full. It is big enough to to do lengths and have inflatables and has a proper deep end. The facilities were comfortable and individually furnished. Like someones home not just a holiday let. The cooking and dinning facilities were adequate. We congregated in the big house for meals; very French I presume! The town near by had good food and enough nearby places to visit, chateaus, Surmur etc... Our hosts came back one night in the 2 weeks we were there and gave us a tour of their wine cellar with tastings, lovely people very interesting. I'd definitely stay there again.

A fantastic family home nestled in the vine yards.

The property was very well equipped and comfortable. The owner provided a great customer experience and I would happily recommend staying here, the children already want to go back! Lots to do in the local area with markets, restaurants and wine tours.

This house was a real crush to us, it was restored with love, in the respect for the architectural style of the region.
The garden was created over the years with varied plantations.
At first it was a "desert", except the respectable lime tree which thrones in the center of the courtyard, which became an oasis of greenery...
This house was always praised for the holidays, for 25 years, by various guests (these last years by Interhome), then since summer, 2015 with Homelidays.

Garden-oasis in the middle of vineyards, paradise for birds.
This region is so beautiful that you must discover it, but we are sometimes tempted to remain to stroll at the edge of the swimming pool, or in a shady area of the garden with a good book...
