Loved it!

Unlike many Fire Island rentals, this place lived up to its description! It was clean and beautifully stocked with beach chairs and towels and kitchen dishware/pots/cutlery and spices. Plenty of blankets and pillows and even a pack and play which we needed. I was always able to communicate with Len the owner and he was quick to respond. We are hoping to rent again next season!

Early vacation May 2019

We had a great time at this house. All thought it was in May we enjoyed the quite evenings and the cocktails on the upper deck, at this location. The weather was sunny and with out rain. The sun was hot and we enjoyed the beach . We walked away with sun burn for the beginning of the season. The house is well stocked and nicely decorated and was extremely comfortable. The owner was cordial and easy to work with. He is very responsive and helpful. we are coming back soon this summewr. Over all it is a 5/5.

Great place

This is a nice property. Well stocked and well kept. Not a bungalo, but modern fit and finishes. Very large. Both Manager and owner very responsive.

Great Home experience at Ocean Beach

We never rented on Ocean Beach But because of our experience at the Beautiful home we rented 5 Bedrooms, 2 kitchens , Big decks to sit and enjoy Coffee and Breakfast , Beaches are Best we have been too and the town has all the restaurants , Bars , Bakeries Lenny was by far the best host we ever had done Business with ! We will be back and tell others

Perfect Stay

A comfortable home with many amenities, clean , nicely decorated, close to town and the beach. We had a great time at the beach even though the water was cold at this time of year. The owner is a gem to work with. We give the home a strong recomendation.

Location, location, location

This house is perfectly located if you want easy access to the town of Ocean Beach without the noise or congestion and super close access to the beach. We spent hours on the upstairs deck hearing only the sounds of the waves and when we wanted to go to town it was only a 3 minute walk away. The house is well equipped with two full kitchens (including two dishwashers) two sets of washer/driers, two decks, two full living rooms, five full bedrooms, two full baths and a fabulous outdoor shower. we used the grill almost every night and walked back and forth to the beach several times a day. other neighborhoods are also easily accessible by walking, and the water taxi picks up every hour on the bay side to go to farther away neighborhoods. the only concern about the beach at ocean beach is that it can get crowded given it's accessibility, but if you walk just a bit away from the entrance (and the guarded swimming area) it's relatively quiet. the owner is super responsive to questions. would definitely rent here again.

We had a lovely stay in Ocean Beach. The house was perfect for our needs, and the owner is a gem!

The home is lovely and perfect for a mother and daughter and their families. The home is nicely furnished, has plenty of towels and extra linens, and has all of the pots, pans, and kitchen equipment a family needs to prepare their meals. The property is a very short walk from the beach which makes it very convenient to return for lunch or forgotten items. The owner of this property is a gentleman and a delight to deal with. He has generously added days to our stay when he was able to at no additional expense to my family. We have rented this property for the past 3 summers and intend to do so again next summer. I recommend this property and its owner enthusiastically! You will not be sorry!

Great Beach house!

We were looking for a spacious beach house where our 20 something kids could feel like they were on their own vacation while vacationing with the whole family and this beach house had it all for us. Easy location right up the street from the ferry and steps from the beach was very relaxing, but the 2 floor levels, with 2 kitchens, was the feature that made the vaca! The top floor deck was airy and breezy, and the lower deck had a place for the kids to hang and had a great outdoor shower. Bath towels galore (and beach towels, although not sure the landlord knew how many beach towels were there), and that was way convenient to not have to worry about linens/towels. Bikes, beach chairs/umbrellas, and a new sturdy wagon were added bonuses. Our landlord was very,very flexible and responsive to any questions we had, and we were very appreciative of his kindness. Had a great time and we highly recommend this beach house!

Wonderful location!

The space is very accomodating with the large deck, and it is a quick walk to the beach. It is a block and a half from town which provides peace and quiet at night. The owner is quick to respond to calls and pleasant to work with.

Perfect Summer Rental

Rented this house for memorial day weekend with a group of friends and couldn't have asked for better experience. The house is spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed for the beach including towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, as well as all kitchen essentials. The front deck made for a great spot to relax after the beach and grill up dinner. The location is perfect - less than 10 min walk from the ferry and town and less than 5 to the beach. Len was more than happy to answer any questions we had and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Hope to be back next year!

Perfect house for groups!

This house is great! It has two full kitchens and a nice size barbecue which is helpful when you have a big group of people. The rooms were a nice size - we were able to sleep 10 comfortably! The deck was definitely our hangout spot throughout the weekend with plenty of seats and lounge chairs as well as a table. It's in a great location, right in between the beach and town making it easy to get around. We also biked to other areas of Fire Island and really like Ocean Beach the best. The owner was really responsive and helpful and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall, it was a great experience making us all want to come back next year!

Great home with terrific amenities

This is our second time staying at this home. We love the fact that the home has 5 true bedrooms and central ac. Two floors, two kitchens, two living areas, large decks and outdoor shower. 9 homes from the beach and the street is centrally located town.

Great home close to the ocean

This is our third year renting this home from Len and we love it. It has 5 bedrooms and a downstairs couch that can sleep kids. The outside deck is big and great for dinners and breakfast. The backyard has a bbq and table. The inside is nicely decorated and has everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and kitchenware. The house is far enough from the main street to be quiet but close enough for a nice stroll to town for ice cream in the evenings. It is literally three houses from the beach so you can hear the waves on teh deck at night. Overall, is was a wonderful relaxing experience that we will definitely repeat again next year.

Happy place

Great beach house. The deck is large a perfect place to have breakfast in the morning or relaxing after a day at the beach. The owner is very considerate and very helpful. This is my family's third year here and we can't wait to come back next year. Diane stayed July 2017

Summer Fun

We had such a good time. My family enjoyed the beach, coffee on the deck and the after noon cocktail. The place is immaculate, clean,fresh linens, towels, it's well stocked, and ideally positioned being just 5 houses to the beach and a short 3 minute stroll to town. Yes we have visited this house over the past years on multiple occasions. The owners are responsive to question and specific needs. Even had access to a handicap cart for my father. This is overall a 5/5 rating for location, quality, and considerate service.

Excellent Ocean Beach House

Excellent Ocean Beach house. We stayed with two families and having a kitchen on both families was incredibly helpful. The house is clean, well kept, and has all the amenities you need. We stayed during a very hot week, and the central air worked well and kept us cool, compared to our friends sweating in their non-air conditioned houses. Wifi worked great, Dish tv allowed us to watch olympics. Location is perfect, with easy access to beach and town. Quiet because it's on the beach side of Midway. Also, it's the first house on Fire Island that we've stayed in that had no ants! We'll be back.

Wonderful house, great location

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is beautiful, perfect size for our family to stay and enjoy. Well stocked kitchen that made meal prep for all of us so easy. Accommodations were comfortable and well maintained. Great location between beach and town. Quiet street, with easy access to activity when desired. Owner was also easy to interact with when there were questions. I couldn't have asked for a better rental experience!

Just returned from a week at this wonderful house. This is the second year we rented and could not have asked for anything. This house has everything for a great vacation. Having the two floors was wonderful as everyone can spread out. We can't wait to go back next year. Len is the best owner. He is quick to answer any questions and just wants you to enjoy his house which we did.

Perfect Vacation

Rented this house for my daughters 16th birthday , brought and her friends and they had a perfect celebration vacation. The house was perfectly suited with two floors -- they were able to stay on one floor while adults were on the bottom floor. The decks, especially the upper, were one of the nicest features. They stayed out there all night long playing games and listening to music -- they felt like they had the whole house to themselves. The house was spotless when we arrived. Len provided everything we could have needed from sheets, towels, beach chairs, dishes, pots, etc. -- was not missing a thing. Len was extremely gracious and helpful with any issues. The location is perfect -- minutes to walk to the beach and close to town as well -- could not have asked for anything more. Highly recommend this property.

Another Amazing Vacation

Great vacation...with a house that feels like home to us now. We loved this house even more this year. For us the best part is having two floors where the kids can hang with friends downstairs and we can relax upstairs and never feel like we are on top of each other. The decks are great and we used them all the time to have a cup a coffee, a meal or cocktail in the evening. Everything we need for the beach was there....and Len is always very responsive when we have a problem. I highly recommend this large beautiful home.

great vacation spot for the whole family

we stayed for six nights. what a fantastic house! spacious, clean, incredibly close to the beach! we were 10-12 people all week long with a few day stays and never did the house feel less than perfect. the two kitchens, two decks, two living rooms are all key to relaxing for a week and feel like you can escape to any part of the house. we had great weather, however, one day of rain which didn't matter as we had so much to do in the house!. enjoy the bikes, the chairs, the great comfy areas or just stay on the beach all day. hope to be back next year! owner is quite amenable as well-- made it an easy, pleasant transaction !
