Nice condo with plenty of room and good kitchen. The location was within walking distance to the lift and restaurants. But the rooms were too hot and we could not sleep.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the space, kitchen, and convenient location. Regarding the temperature, it was unseasonably warm during your stay, which can impact indoor comfort in mountain properties. We do provide box fans in the closets and recommend opening windows to let in the cooler mountain air, which is typically very effective in these conditions. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again under more typical mountain weather.

I went with a buddy for a week of skiing in February. We go every year. As far as places we’ve stayed, this was as good as the best of them!Great location! It’s an easy walk to the gondola and to the little town. I like to cook in the kitchen as well stocked. There is not a steamer so our crab boil was nixed. There were three, two mugs of coffee packets for a week stay. I asked where they recommend we go to get more and I was told to go pick some up at the office for free. You also have to go to the office to check in. We kind of felt like we needed a rental car.Overall, the place is great and I highly recommend it.

Thank you for your review! We're so glad to hear this stay ranked among the best places you've stayed for your annual ski trip. It’s great that you enjoyed the location and found the walk to the gondola and River Run area convenient, and we're happy to hear the kitchen worked well for your cooking during the week. We appreciate the feedback regarding kitchen items and coffee supplies. We do provide a starter amount of coffee for guests, and if additional supplies are needed during a stay, guests are always welcome to stop by our office and we’re happy to provide more at no cost. For check-in, our office is located nearby and serves as the central check-in point for our managed properties, which also allows guests to easily stop by if they need additional supplies or assistance during their stay. Thank you again for staying with us and for the recommendation—we’d love to host you again on your next ski trip!

Great location. Walking distance to Keystone gondola and village. 2 rooms with comfortable queen beds. Didn't use the 3rd Murphy bed area. Hot tubs were relaxing after day on slopes.

Our stay at the Red Hawk Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this Lodge and in Keystone. The lodge and our room has a nice rustic decor; was very quiet; and is just a very short walk from the River Run village with several nice restaurants and shops. There was construction going on next to the lodge, but didn’t interfere with our stay. Our room could use new carpet though.

The extra "semi- bedroom" was handy, the balcony is nice as well. Very close to slopes, and still quiet.

Beautiful unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the spaciousness and two decks. Note this building has North and South units...we weren't aware of this and spent some confusing moments trying to figure out how to get to our room. Need to drive further into the parking garage and take North elevator.

Great Communication

The communication for this property is excellent. I received emails and text before my stay and during my stay. It is a process to get the key and get to the condo and we did it at night in 0 degree weather so we wanted to do it quick. The directions were perfect and we were in and out getting the key and went straight to the condo. We had an issue with hot water and they were right on it and sending texts to fix it. Would definitely stay again.

One of our favorite stays!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo met our needs perfectly during our summer stay in Keystone. I specifically was looking for 3 full size beds to meet the needs of our two young adult children and this condo fit us perfectly. The beds were cozy and there were plenty of fans stored in the closets to help circulate that wonderful cool mountain air that we love. Everything in the condo was clean and cozy. The rental company was outstanding with their communication during booking, making the check-in and check-out process go smoothly. We love staying in the area every year and will keep this condo in mind when we return.

enjoyed our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Summit County Mountain Retreats did an amazing job of making our arrival smooth and the stay was good. We were in 2252 and were probably less than 100 yards from the Gondola. Someone was smoking in the until below us which was annoying, but otherwise everything was good. I would say when comparing price, if you are looking for convenience without the cost, this is a good fit. If you are looking for the most updated, cushy, highbrow type of condo, this might not be for you. You will pay three times as much though...

May Ski Trip to A-Basin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my third trip using SCMR to book lodging. As always they have the best deals with great amenities for staying at Keystone to ski A-Basin in May. Their Keystone lodging is the closest lodging toA-Basin. I will definitely use them again. The specific unit had everything we needed and was basically a 3 bedroom unit as the study had a murphy bed.Guests should book directly with SCMR to save money in lieu of other rental platforms to save on excessive fees. As we all know skiing has become expensive so save money using SCMR and put your savings to better use.
