The details read exactly as follows: ****PLEASE NOTE that we very recently learned that the condominiums at Beach and Tennis are currently undergoing construction for repairs during daytime working hours (approximately 8-4). They are currently updating ALL lanais. There will be construction personnel on site. Please contact me if you have any questions. **** In addition, the beds, linens, and couches were purchased new in the last year. The photos taken are exactly what is in the unit, so I am not sure what is misleading. It is a non-smoking building and upon checking with the cleaning service, they stated that there were no odd odors in the room. We will address your concern about the linens with the cleaning service. However, we do have all new towels, linens, and rugs. With regards to the safety of the property during construction, we are in constant contact with neighbors and the board and not one concern or complaint has been expressed by any other guest. I am sorry that was your personal experience, but this is a very safe property. You contacted us several times throughout your stay and never once did you express any of these concerns. In fact, you asked for a late check out which appears to be conflicting with the idea that you were unhappy with your stay. While we are always open to feedback and are always making changes to the property based on the feedback, it is essential that it is accurate and constructive in order to create the best possible experience.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I would like to address a few issues in order to clarify your concerns. First, we acquired the unit just before the start of Covid and had planned to complete renovations immediately thereafter. Unfortunately, the county closed due to a pandemic and we were restricted from moving forward with our plans. Those plans will be implemented soon as we choose to follow safety guidelines for the benefit of our renters. Second, the air conditioning unit is essentially new at 8 months old and works efficiently. We would have appreciated a direct contact if you had a concern regarding it as opposed to you taking the liberty to taking it apart. Also, the information on the listing is accurate. You are able to read the description and see what is available in the unit. If you had concerns or questions about any of the pictures or descriptions you should have called directly. With regards to the shower regulation, you are the only renter to date who has expressed any concern about it. That is also the case regarding the furniture currently in the unit. Rest assured that we will continue to make improvements to the unit very soon. Lastly, please note that while you may have requested to rent outside of the VRBO agreement, for the safety and protection of our renters we always follow the guidelines of the agency.
