My husband and I loved it. Our teenage boys did not care for the lack of A/C; however, there were plenty of fans to use to circulate the air. The renovations to the kitchen and bathroom were well done. We had a great time in Salida!

Property is really cute, and furnished and stocked like a home. Many VRBOs are stocked like a business or inexpensive hotel now, and this one actually felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend even with having to use Rocky Mountain Air Conditioning.

Peaceful and quiet stay...just what we needed.Love dreading about the history of the house.Would definitely stay here again.Enjoyed the river walk nearby, watching the wave practice and getting our feet wet upstream.

Sweet Spot in Salida

Super cozy, nice kitchen, lovely bath and a relaxing porch. That checked all the boxes for our little family and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location

This is a beautiful restored home with a wonderful history. It is within easy walking distance to downtown Salida, but in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay!

We really enjoyed this lovely home! Roomy, comfortable, cable TV, back deck was used often! Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower. Everything was so clean and all the amenities needed! The walk downtown was pleasant - maybe 10 minutes. We plan to be back!

3 day hiking/shopping trip w/ friends. Such an amazing place we wanted to buy it. Great location, walked into town daily w/ no issue. Would stay again.

Cute little house. Had all the amenities needed!! It was perfectly located and about a 10 min walk to downtown. Great communication with the hosts throughout the stay. Would definitely book with them again!

This house was perfect for exploring Salida and the surrounding area!- Fantastic location - an easy walk to both downtown Salida and to restaurants on Rainbow Blvd.- House was in great shape and very clean- Great space both inside and outside of the home - bathroom, kitchen, and back patio were particularly nice- Quiet neighborhood- Plenty of parking
