Quaint Cottage 2 minutes à pied de Footbridge Beach, taux de printemps et d'automne

Le chalet est situé sur Ocean St. à Ogunquit, à quelques chalets de la célèbre plage de Footbridge. La zone environnante est résidentielle, parfaite pour la marche et idéale pour les enfants. Situé à quelques pas d'un arrêt de tramway qui vous mènera à travers les environs et Perkins Cove. La plage a une cabane à collation et des toilettes. Le chalet a une cuisine et une salle de bain rénovées et un petit porche grillagé, parfait pour votre boisson du matin ou pour lire un livre. Pour les nuits fraîches du printemps et de l'automne, installez-vous près du foyer au gaz et créez de bons souvenirs de famille. Il y a un chalet derrière celui-ci relié par un passage couvert. We love to stay at this cottage just steps from the beach. Everything was clean and comfortable. This was our 3rd stay at this property and each time we have been happy.

Great location, walking distance to lovely Footbridge Beach. Quiet neighborhood on trolley route so we didn’t need to drive into town. Cottage is sweet, comfortable and very well equipped. Owner Ken easy to reach, very helpful. Highly recommend this for your stay in Ogunquit!

The cabin was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Host was great. Kitchen well equipped. Loved the screened in porch, the safe, quiet neighborhood, and nearness to the beach. The back cabin was unoccupied during our stay, which was nice. If the back cabin were occupied, it would be a crowded yard, as all parking is on the front lawn, and the back cabin gets the back yard.

Beautiful autumn stay

This was our second stay. We were pleasantly surprised at the great beach walking weather and things happening in Ogunquit. House location is steps from beach and convenient to everything.

Great location

Beautiful cottage that was immaculate and two minutes walking distance to gorgeous Footbridge beach. Stayed with friends for three nights and enjoyed the area exploring all the cute shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We visit Ogunquit every summer, and are so happy to have found this gem of a cottage! Perfect size for our family of three (although would easily be comfortable for a family of 5!), and an amazing location. The house is immaculately clean, and perfect for our long weekend visit. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Enjoyable for a short stay

Well furnished cottage and a lot to do in walking distance and 5 min drive to the center. Pros : quick reply, helpful and great location Cons : AC in one bedroom only, thin walls and comfort was minimal The host helped us with our request.

All good except you need a table on the right side of the kitchen sink so dirty dishes may be stacked there before going next to soapy water for scrubbing before finally going to the rack on the left side of the sink to dry.

House with a screened in porch

Had a terrific stay, the house was clean and comfortable. It was just terrific for 2 adults. The screened in front porch was an added bonus. We sat there for meals, coffee breaks, reading with a nice breeze and no bugs. Enjoyed completely.

Ogunquit getaway

Our second time staying at 87 Ocean St. was even better than the first. The cottage is very comfortable, the gas fireplace made it even more so on cool evenings. The screened porch is a plus. The location is great, just a short stroll to Footbridge beach and another 20 minutes or so to the village. We look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful stay!

Property was clean, convenient to the beach and a nice layout. Only minor complaint is front bedroom got very hot during the heat wave we had during the stay. There were window AC units in the other rooms and those areas stayed cool. I would still highly recommend the cottage, we had a blast.

Just perfect!

The cottage was extra clean. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook a lot. The BBQ was sparkling clean. The self-entry is very convenient, especialy if you are 2 or 3 people in the house with differents schedules. The footbridge (hence the beach) is only 3 to 4 minutes walk. Just perfect!

Nice cottage close to beach

My husband and I enjoyed staying in the Footbridge area. It’s very convenient. We were very close to the beach, able to easily walk to Ogunquit, and able to go out to dinner by walking to the end of the road. The cottage is small, but was fine for the two of us. We loved the screen porch, and since the weather was a bit cool, the gas fireplace was wonderful. We wished that beach chairs and an umbrella had been provided since we flew in from the Midwest and were not able to bring our own. Recommended!

Thrilled to have found this place!

Our family (3 of us) was both pleased and impressed with the accomodations and location of this little gem. This was the first time for us visiting the area, so booking a cottage without any point of reference had us a bit apprehensive. The cottage was immaculately clean, having all the amenities it stated. Internet accessibility would be a plus though. The beach was a very short walk and beautiful. Perfect for those who love to walk or run. Although we had alot of rain during our week there, we were so close to all the surrounding towns we were able to keep busy. Trolleys going into all the tourist spots locally had a stop right down the road as well. We ate in alot, so I can't speak much about the local restaurants. We are looking forward to returning as soon as we can. We highly recommend this property.

Great value for the $$$

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. The use of a car was not necessary unless you wanted to. Beach was a few minutes walk. Town was a 20 min. walk away and the trolley stop was a few doors up. Pizza place, Napolis? at the end of the street was great. Mikes Clam Shack which really is a very nice restaurant has the BEST seafood scampi! The few times we took excursions was great. Most activities and/or sights are within 30 mins drive. Did some hiking in York at Mt. Atamiticus. Saw a Moose along the trail. Trails were great. Went into Kennebunckport for the freshest seafood at Cape Porpoise. Took a trip up to LLBean in Freeport. One of the most relaxing vacations we have taken. Not paying for beach parking everyday was soooo nice! Thanks Ken & Laura for a lovely home away from home.

Great location

This is our 2nd time renting this property. You cannot beat the location in terms of easy beach access and the house has a nice front porch to enjoy after a busy day at the beach. The house is comfortable and clean and is within walking distance to many good restaurants.
