Property was clean and in a great location. Perfect for our family and two cats! Having a Lake view through a private park and small private beach was also outstanding. The beach even has a little semi-enclosed cove that is great for swimming.

The overall house was excellent. Everything inside was clean and as specified. Unfortunately, there was no patio and very little privacy. Equally, there was no beach. Just rocks to walk up to. We wish we had more of a beach to walk on.

We had such an amazing time here!! House was so clean and there was so much room for all 4 of us. There were plenty of towels and extra supplies that we were set for the entire week! We were worried about the parking situation but it ended up working out perfectly! We were able to fit 2 trucks and a 12ft trailer with our kayaks which was great. Check in was so easy and communication was amazing!! Perfect place to swim, kayak, fish, etc as the beach is not even a 2 min walk away. Would definitely stay again!!

Overall it was a very nice place to stay and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was nice. It was clean with plenty of bath towels. It was a lovely stay. The stairs to the upstairs are narrow in depth so be careful. Could use more kitchen towels and perhaps a few more oven safe options but overall stocked well. Parking is tight.

The place was ideal for 6 adults and two normal size cars, and could have easily accommodated a couple more kids on the futon in the loft. Tastefully decorated in a beachy way but not kitschy or over the top, just sleek and comfortable. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Ours preferred not to go up the stairs (just a tad steep and unfamiliar), which worked out fine, as there is a queen bedroom on the first floor with full bath, near all the activity. Beds were fine. The location with views of the lake from dining and living rooms was ideal with a small park right across the street for walks and water fun. Sandusky attractions are not too far and we took a day trip to Kelly’s island on the Marblehead ferry. Dining table is large enough for 6, with additional seating at the kitchen counter and also outside on a cute patio. In fact we squeezed in a puzzle at one end of the dining room table and still had room to eat. Kitchen was well-equipped with lots of prep space. Remember to bring take-home containers; you’ll be tempted to cook if you’re here for more than a day or two and there are likely to be leftovers!! It’s an older place, but nicely renovated and a good value. Heating and cooling worked without effort. Host communications were helpful & clear, and checkout requests were reasonable. No surprises. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much, Gretchen, for making it such a wonderful spot to stay.

The only negative I have to say is the parking situation is very very small and tight. Just wish it was better known from the beginning as none of the photos show it. We had 4 vehicles, none of which would completely fit in the small 1-car garage. We made it work, but if you have 5 cars for this place you'll need to bribe a neighbor as there's NO street parking anywhere.

The house was just as it was shown in the pictures. It was clean and had plenty of linens. Even the toilet paper was not the cheap thin kind. LOL Lake view was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood. We stayed here for our granddaughters volleyball tournament along with her other grandparents. Plenty of room for the four of us. Already talking about staying again next year if they play in the area. Would highly recommend this rental.
