Host helpfull when we changed the dates. Appar5ment very clean and had everything we needed. But I would not recommend this apartment for 4 people it would be too cramped. The balcony was out of this world absolutely fantastic sun all day long and very spacious. The location was not to our liking as it was at the top of a tierd complex that meant there were 192 steps one way or 82 another way needless to say were very pleased to be able to use uber taxis.

Partial ocean view was very distant. We were there month of March and not heated. Clean living area but shower had mold and patio was large but not cleaned on arrival. Towels were old and worn. Host was prompt replying. Kitchen equipment was minimum and no manuals to operate appliances.

Lovely apartment. Small for 1 bedroomed but was great for just the two of us. Easy check-in and very clean. Ideally situated within walking distance of both the old town and the marina. Although may be a struggle for anyone with walking difficulties. I would definitely stay here again.

It is party central in the area and pull out couch needs to be changed (you feel every metal bar and terribly uncomfortable). Familly could not get a good night rest. Good option for college/university students looking to have fun, not for famillies.

Summer holiday August

The apartment is clean and tidy. Everything you need and with a good size pool to swim in. Be prepared to walk though as the complex is at the top of a hill and the apartment is a few more flights of steps further up past the pool . The Town is within easy walking distance but is uphill walk back to the apartment .

Relaxed flat in a resort

Everything great overall! Flat and kitchen are fully equipped have nice, modern furniture. Accurate photos and description. A little high over the town but still possible to walk downtown in 25 minutes. The only surprises were a few ants inside the home and the airconditioning not being very strong.

Sweet host and great apartment with beautiful view

So lovely holiday apartment . Very friendly and quickly response and communikation. Cleverly organised and equipped. The kithen is supplied with all sorts of things to make any dinner into a treat. The terrasse is so welcoming and with beautiful seawiew in two directions Tables, chairs, beds and sunbeds are in good condition. The dishwasher, washingmashine, oven, microwave is updated and made our vacation much easier. The appartement was clean and in order when we arrived. We would love to return sometime.

The condo was precisely as shown in the photos. Knowing that our stay was for 22 days, we were left with just one garbage bag, 2 rolls of TP. The outdoor loungers were held together with duct tape, the sofa was stained and uncomfortable to sit on, the beach umbrella folded outward at the smallest breeze. The bed was comfortable, but all of the pillows were small and bunched. BEWARE that the sliding door locks when closed (we were locked out on our first night here). One tea towel was provided, but nothing to wash the dishes. There were multiple pans and pots, but only one lid. As a first-time visitor to Portugal, it would have been nice to have a visitor map of the area, and the condo complex (it took us a few days to find the pool). The view from the balcony is just as shown in the photos, so that everywhere we wanted to go required walking down hill and back up again. It was 82 steps from the unit to the pool. These inclines were very steep.Not so bad going, but back to the unit was extremely difficult. We could walk to the Intermarche in about 15 minutes, but all the way back up took 20 minutes. Likewise, we could walk to the marina or into Old Town Albufeira (it's a very steep incline for both). We had to provide our own cooking essentials (salt, pepper, cooking oil). Good hot water, and pressure in the shower.

Not the most comfortable

We planned on staying for two weeks while we waited for our apartment to be ready. Shortly after checking in, we knew we weren't going to be comfortable staying here but we were unable to shorten the stay except for two days granted by the owner. The area below is very touristy and will be busy, especially in Summer. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk down to the beach but it is a strenuous walk all the way back up the hill. The view is nice from the balcony. The wifi does work, you have to look on the MEO modem/router. The TV options aren't great but you can stream your own stuff from your phone. Our main issue was the bed in the bedroom. It was a pretty thin and very stiff mattress. It felt like a sleeper sofa bed. Uber was readily available when we needed a ride. We were only given one roll of toilet paper for a two week stay and there is no bidet. The shower is the type that drains really slowly so you will be standing in water throughout your shower. There doesn't seem to be enough hot water for three or more people in the unit. We kept our showers very short to make sure there was enough. We ended up leaving a week early anyways.

The client arrived at 6 p.m. and at 8 p.m. we received a message asking us to reimburse her for the rest of the stay because the neighborhood did not suit her. I think that it is not in two hours that we can get an idea of the neighborhood. we agreed to give her a two night gesture but we didn't agree to do more because we would have lost the money and that's not a valid reason. regarding the mattress it is the first time that we have had the reflection since the beginning of the rental, but indeed a mattress cannot be suitable for everyone! I think the refund request was more than inappropriate, And despite our good faith it was not enough.

Our stay in Albufeira

We arrived in the Algarve 1 March 2024 and moved into our condo in Albufeita Jardim. Karine our host, had the condo ready and we moved in early. We went for a tour around the community with friends and upon our return we discovered that there was a water break in the building and we had lost all water. I contacted Karine and as it was late, a repair crew was contacted but couldn’t start work until the next day. She was very proactive and had water delivered for flushing the toilet and drinking water. It took four days to repair the issue, Karine continued to have water delivered and got us another condo to shower and get water. This was not a problem that could have been predicted by the owner or the host, Karine was incredibly responsive to our needs. After four days a fix was completed and we didn’t have any further issues. The condo was clean, well stocked and as described in the adds. For extended stay clients IPTV would be a benefit and a more comfortable sofa. The walking distance to old town takes about 20/25 minutes and the return is mainly uphill, it takes longer that requires significant effort. I have to commend the VRBO customer support team, specifically Argel for the excellent customer service. We were able to relax in knowing that Argel was on the case, we felt that we were important and we were fully being supported. Our vacation started out with some difficulties but finished off with a very positive experience. I will book through VRBO whenever we travel.

Buen apartamento

Apartamento bonito, bien equipado, terraza muy grande con vistas al mar, ubicacion muy buena muy cerca de la zona urbana que se puede ir a pie. La unica pega que pondria es que el sofa cama es incomodo para dormir, por lo demas estupendo. Comunicacion con la anfitriona muy buena

We enjoyed this lovely apartment in a nice complex. The deck really made the apartment seem bigger than it was and we used it extensively. The kitchen was on the very small side so only made breakfast here, but it was adequate for that. No coffee maker though! A french press would be a welcome addition. Location was close to old town, but far enough away for it to be quiet at night.

L appartement dans l ensemble est très jolie mais certaines choses sont à revoir.Prise murale arrachée, canapé très sale, brosse des toilettes souillée, bac de douche avec moisissures, porte d entrée non isolée laissant passer le jour mais aussi les fourmis que l on retrouve dans l espace kitchenette.Concernant le parking, c est très compliqué d avoir une place car beaucoup trop d appartements et très peu d emplacements.

Petit appartement moderne avec une seule chambre qui peut quand même accommoder quatre personnes. Nous avons utilisé le canapé-lit moyennement confortable, dont l’un des côtés était usé. Grande terrasse avec magnifique vue et très appréciée. Cuisinette petite mais bien équipée. Excellent service de Karine qui répondait rapidement à nos besoins. Grande piscine très agréable. Quartier peut être bruyant dans la nuit dû à d’autres locataires fêtards. Proche des restaurants et de points de vue à distance de marche.

Die FeWo fanden wir von der Lage, Größe und Ausstattung optimal. Man ist in 10 Minuten am Strand und den Restaurants. Parkplatz ist etwas Glückssache, wir fanden immer einen Platz direkt vor dem Haus. Die Gastgeberin war sehr gut erreichbar, Antworten kamen immer prompt. Gute Empfehlungen zum Essen gehen (uns gefiel am besten das Casa Nova - schöne Lage, guter Service, klasse Essen). Die Zufahrt zum Appartement ist wg. Baustelle im Ort etwas umständlich (Stand 05/2025), aber dafür kann die FeWo ja nichts...
