Bonjour hanche, cabine de glamping! Notre chalet de 2 chambres a été entièrement rénové. Le décor est chic & bohème cool! Profitez de la grande cour et de la terrasse ensoleillée. Cheminée en pierre des champs avec plafonds voûtés et puits de lumière. Le chalet a de beaux pins partout avec des choix de design d'intérieur fabuleux. Profitez du coin lecture doux, de la chambre principale avec puits de lumière et de la moitié de bain ou mettez un disque préféré. Les enfants adoreront la mezzanine confortable. Une promenade de 8-10 minutes ou 2 minutes en voiture de la plage publique du lac (le charmant Stockbridge Bowl) Douche extérieure. Barbecue grill. 6 minutes du centre-ville de Tanglewood et Lenox.

July 4th Stay

The cabin was just as advertised. It was nicesly decorated, the beds were very comfortable and it was super clean. Christian was a very attentive host who was extemely easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend a stay at Cabin Fever in Stockbridge.

Compact perfection!

We had such a great stay. As advertised, the place is compact but there has been so much attention put into every detail that everything is comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing. Wonderful location close to all the things you could want to do in the area but it's also in a lovely, quiet neighborhood adding to its homey-ness. We would love to return!

Girls Weekend

Had a wonderful weekend at the cottage for a college roommates "reunion" weekend. Everything was nicely updated and spotlessly clean. It was a hot weekend and the A/C worked great. Easy to get to Lenox for dinner, great hiking nearby, and a lovely place to relax and catch up. Highly recommend.

A Big Disappointment

Never posted a review like this, but it’s important to share our experience. It was shocking. My family of 4 booked this cottage for 2 nights. Centrally located to Tanglewood, downtown Lenox, & hiking trails. It has boho chic country charm and was well cleaned upon arrival. The master mattress was not comfortable and there was a septic-like odor coming from the half bath. We found two mice traps in the loft area (albeit with no bait, so we figured it was more of a precaution than anything else). Despite all this we had high hopes until we saw a mouse scurry across the floor. We didn’t sleep a wink that night because my 12-year-old was worried that a mouse was going to come into his bed. The next morning, I messaged the host, Christian and asked if we could get a partial refund for the second night because we were not comfortable sleeping at the property anymore. I think we deserved a full refund, but even a partial refund would let us get a hotel room. After several correspondences, Christian offered no recourse other than offering us more traps! He ignored our inquiries about a refund and said that mice were part of “living in the countryside”. Without a refund or a promise of one, we had no choice but to stay one more night. We travel often and stay at many short-term rentals and this was downright the worst experience we’ve ever had. The host knew there were mice in the house and rented it anyway. We will never be returning here or dealing with Christian Deckert again.

Thank you for your review. It’s hard to comprehend for me when you decided to stay for the full term of your rental and days after your departure you feel you deserve a full refund. Your child said it saw a mouse, I offered to drive over and put mouse traps up but you said not necessary. You said you will vacate in the afternoon and I asked you to let me know when you vacated. Your response was that you made it work and you will stay. At no point during your stay you said anything about the mattress and a sewer smell. I am glad you feel better now that you left us a bad review after spending a great Labor Day weekend at our cabin.

Charming and Cozy Getaway

My wife and I had recently sold our log home and we were looking for a cozy cabin, with a wood burning fireplace, to use for our Thanksgiving holiday. This cabin was a perfect fit. While it was just the two of us, it easily would’ve accommodated another couple. We came prepared, with all of our Thanksgiving dinner ingredients plus plenty of firewood so outside of a brief walk on day 1, we never left the cabin. There were plenty of pots, pans and utensils and our dinner came out just fine. As a side note, we have an odd Thanksgiving tradition of watching Godfather 1 & 2 each year during the holiday. We thought we were out of luck but to our surprise the cabin had a smart TV. Whoever had logged into Prime (possibly a previous tenant) had coincidentally previously purchased both movies sp we were able to keep our tradition alive. We both highly recommend this cabin if cozy, quiet and charming is what you’re after.

Summer week in the Berkshires

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Very nicely appointed with everything our family of 5 needed during our week-long stay. We enjoyed many of the nearby sights and hikes - location is great, just 5 minutes from downtown Lenox and close to many great outdoor activities. Kids enjoyed the loft and reading nook. We cooked in the kitchen and on the grill, enjoyed many meals around the great dining table, and s'mores around the fire pit in the back yard. We would recommend and would certainly consider it for another stay in the Berkshires. Keep an eye out for the friendly black bear - we had a visit!

Wedding Visit

We have a house down the street and needed extra space for a wedding. Christian’s place is amazing!! So clean and so cute with lots of space and amazing decor. 10/10 would stay again!

Charming Accommodations in a Great Location

The property was well provisioned and comfortable. The location is great and provided easy access to Lenox and Tanglewood. For those who drive Teslas, there is a supercharger nearby in Lee. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing week or weekend.

The cottage is very comfortable and cozy. Clearly a lot of thought went into decorating and updating it. I’m already planning another visit soon.
