Beautiful cottage that had such a comfortable feel to it with all the amenities one needs!

  • 5 of 5

Third time to Kauai and first time st the cottage and can’t wait to stay again! Gorgeous sunrise views sipping coffee in the lounge chairs, great place to cook with views of the ocean! Was nice to have laundry as well as first half of trip was on different part of the island. Plus walking distance to Angeline’s massage and they also allow you to use their steam room for 20 dollars a day ! Loved the hammock and nice to have coconut while my dog was at home! Look forward to another healing vacation at the cottage:)

Best cottage on the island!

  • 5 of 5

Diana's cottage - at the foothills of Anahola mountain - was the perfect place to start my Kauai adventure. Minutes from the local beach, a fruit stand with the perfect acai bowls, and quick access to both North and East shore beaches, Diana's cottage was all I could've asked for in a VRBO. Clean with the perfect amount of amenities and a lot of space to relax outside, I can't wait to plot my return!

Sweet Rustic Cottage, is definitely more sweet than rustic.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Diana's sweet little cottage. The farm is as idyllic and charming as the photo implies. We'll come back. We experienced the full spectrum of sun to rain (with one terrific thunderstorm in the middle of the night!). The fruit on the trees is also fair game for VRBOers, one orange was so sweet that my husband asked if I'd sprinkled sugar on top of it (nope, it was just GOOD). Our last morning started with a spectacular sunrise over the ocean. Full amenities for folks who like to cook and a bookshelf of good books for folks who like to read. Anahola is a very special place, with a strong local community. There's even a book about the village here that relays the history of the land and its people. Loved it.

2 weeks in paradise!

  • 5 of 5

When you find yourself calling the rental property, “home”, then you know you’ve chosen wisely. This cottage was the perfect retreat every evening after a long day of touring Kauai. We slept like tired happy babies in the comfortable bed. We woke to the glorious sunrises and the harmony of the roosters crowing. Yes, they are everywhere and the sound will eventually become background noise but it’s part of the island. The cottage has everything you need and then some. I never had to ask for anything the two weeks we were there. Having a washer and dryer was a huge advantage. I wish I would’ve packed half of what I took. Having WiFi connection is great for making reservations and finding the local businesses. Located in the hills of farmland makes the views breathtaking. The grounds are meticulously manicured. The owner makes a neem oil soap that makes your skin feel like silk. We felt very safe and secure. We never locked the doors and left the windows open for the cool breezes. One of the best features is Coconut the owners chocolate Labrador. He is very friendly and loves to say hi. He gave us the love we missed from our own dogs and was always in a fun mood. Even though the owner lives nearby you never feel encroached upon. The cottage is private with shrubbery and the hammock in the yard beckons you to stay on those breezy evenings. Great location to beaches and restaurants. The general store down the road is open late and has everything from liquor to amazing Poke and Laulau. We highly recommend this cottage. It truly is a piece of paradise.

Clean, with character, a slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

Incredible place. Sitting on a hilltop overlooking the jungle and then the ocean, with the dramatic Moloaʻa mountains as a backdrop, this place is a little bit of heaven. Tons of privacy, super clean, quality furnishings, in a characterful house, with a people-loving lab as a bonus. I only regret that I can’t stay more but I surely hope to be back.

Clean, comfy, character w/a view

  • 5 of 5

We liked that this property was *not* the classic (dull) vacation condo, it felt like a home with a story, and was in an interesting neighborhood with a dramatic backdrop. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Great farmer's market nearby on the weekend (schedule for markets in the house guide). Good if you want to be somewhere peaceful & private, not at all touristy. Not a luxurious stay - good if you like having a kitchen, ample space, simplicity & character over frills or a new feeling space. Oh and love the healthy book exchange in the house and all of the beach accessories! Perfect for our trip.
