Awesome house in Cassis

This house is wonderful. Its only a block to downtown Cassis where there are many shops and restaurants. Michel is a great host and very easy to communicate with. Parking is only a block away, though it does fill up during the day (we were there in June). The backyard is a really nice place to relax. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful holiday

We had a great time. The appartement is exactly as described and as you can see in the pictures. Cassis is beautiful and the location convenient and quiet.

Fantastic place in central Cassis

Cassis is gorgeous but overcrowded so being able to stay so centrally made for a perfect holiday. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need, which is rare in a holiday let. The host was friendly and helpful but it’s the location above all that was stellar. Thank yoi

Beautiful property

Loved it! The location in the town is absolutely perfect. The courtyard is large, comfortable and quite beautiful. The main floor is roomy and comfortable and has modern appliances in the kitchen and bathrooms. The main bedroom and the bed are large with good linens. The upstairs bedrooms are fine except for headroom which is limited. That and the stairs would not be good for older guests or small children. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing! Five stars all around!

Better than advertised. You cannot find a better location for a great adventure in Cassis. Very comfortable and close to all the action and then some. Beautiful area to visit. Michel was an amazing host — easy instructions and no hassles at all. His rental has everything a family of four needs for an excellent adventure. Highest possible rating!

Amazing property in an amazing location!

Michel's place is perfect. We had 2 adults and 2 teenage kids and it was the perfect layout and location. Not great for small kids as there is an unsecured stairway and if sleeping upstairs watch your head (though we are all giants, so that made a difference)! Beautiful garden and steps to the beach! We will re-book here again for next time! Thank you Michel. Merci!

Unvergesslicher Urlaub

Ein Traumhaus mitten in Cassis. Wunderbare Lage, ganze nahe zum Strand und zum Wandern in den Calonques. Wirklich ein Traumurlaub sowohl für uns Erwachsene als auch für Teenager. Nur die Parkplatzsituation war schwierig in der gesamten Stadt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren!

Maison idéale au cœur de Cassis

Super séjour dans cette jolie maison de ville en plein centre de Cassis. Tout est à portée sans avoir besoin de reprendre sa voiture. La terrasse est sans vis à vis et très agréable. La plage est à 3 m’ à pied. Michel fait tout pour que ce soit simple : arrivée, départ et donne d’excellentes recommandations de restaurants. Nous reviendrions bien volontiers !

Exceptionnel. Localisation parfaite, maison fonctionnelle et parfaitement équipée

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié cette maison, idéalement située et conviviale. Terrasse très agréable dont on peut profiter à toute heure de la journée. Nos enfants devenus de jeunes adultes ont apprécié la proximité des activités combinée au calme de la maison. Le propriétaire est particulièrement accueillant et aidant.

Spectacular home and host

Amazing property....

This is a wonderful house in a fantastic location. It is dog and child friendly. Michel was a perfect host. The garden is great and the house has everything you could need. The staircase wouldn’t be safe for young children and the head height is a little restricted or the top two bedrooms but otherwise it is just perfect. The air-con and double glazing are great as are the laundry facilities. We would love to stay here again.

Belle maison très calme en plein coeur de Cassis

Notre 2eme séjour dans la maison de Michel et toujours aussi agréable. Le petit jardin tient ses promesses : barbecue et tomates fraiches cueillies sur le pied! Un hâvre de paix à 2 pas de la plage et du port de Cassis. Une belle suite parentale et deux grandes chambres à l'étage. Un séjour spacieux avec cuisine ouverte et la clim partout. La décoration est moderne et tous les équipements sont là. Merci encore à Charlotte pour l'accueil. Jamais 2 sans 3, nous reviendrons...

comme à la maison !

logement avec matériaux et mobilier moderne tout équipé. Au cœur de cassis proximité des commerces des restaurants et de la plage sans aucune nuisance on peut y passer une semaine sans prendre la voiture. Le propriétaire est vraiment super et disponible ! Je conseil cette location et d'ailleurs je penses y retourner.

Central Location, good value, we would rent again

The three of us, including my wife and her brother, stayed in this modern home for two weeks. We were in Cassis visiting family, and wanted to stay in town, close to the port, the shops, and the beach. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The home is new construction/newly redone. It is on the second floor level, above a garage, overlooking the street. It is not handicapped accessible. The main bedroom and upstairs room shares a wall with the adjacent taller building. There is an odd window that from the neighbors that opens over the deck table. We never saw or heard the folks next door. The house is sleek and modern. The large sliding doors open onto the deck and garden. The deck is covered with a sail canopy (a must for the summer sun). There are lounge chairs and a dining table on the deck. There is no dining table in doors, though you can sit at the kitchen counter. All rooms have air conditioning. It is important to understand the bedroom/bathroom layout. The main bedroom is just off the kitchen. It has an ensuite shower and two sinks, but NO TOILET. There is a second shower/sink/room immediately next to the main bedroom, and next to this (and right next to the kitchen) is the only toilet (water closet) in the house. In summary, two showers, one toilet. Up a winding metal staircase are two attic bedrooms with simple beds on the floor. The rooms have small windows, air conditioners, and one has a skylight. The rooms are great for kids, choosy adults may be a little disappointed. The kitchen is fully appointed (stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker) and stocked. There is a small gas BBQ in the garden, and the freezer and washing machine are in the shed next to the deck. We cooked dinners and took many of our meals in the house; it worked well. There are a full set of linens including plenty of bath towels. We did not see specific beach towels. Bring your own or buy one at the Marche U for 10 euros. The tap water in the house was foul tasting. We bought water. There is some street noise. If you do not want to hear the sounds of the city, stay outside of town. We had a rental car. There is no parking associated with the house. Parking on the street is undependable. The owner did direct us up to space on the main road. The 15 minute walk was impractical for our party. The good news is that the pay lot just up the street (Parking Mimosa) sells weekly passes for 70 euros. Merci.
