This 2 bedroom 2 bath single level condo, located on the 2nd floor is inviting and generous. Decorated and furnished with a tropical island flair this budget friendly home features stunning ocean views, 1,200 square feet of indoor space plus additional gallery space, a manicured lawn, and fragrant gardens. The home is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 4 guests.


You will be just steps from the fresh water pool & sandy beach. This is the perfect spot for beach combing, swimming, snorkeling, and just relaxing. Swim out to a man-made reef only a few hundred feet offshore, or out farther to the spectacular Long Reef. The large pool is surrounded by tropical gardens and a gas grill is located pool-side for an afternoon lunch or an evening dinner.

Easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches! There are two restaurants in walking distance, grocery stores close by and you will be just minutes from Downtown Christiansted, one of the most beautiful, historic, friendly, and exciting towns in the Caribbean.

Everything close to perfect. Colony Cove is a lovely, quiet older condo community, with a very nice pool, beautiful gardens. It's a few minutes from downtown Christiansted with numerous restaurants, and lots of shopping.The restaurant choices nearby are limited, but Island Dreams has a completely equipped kitchen and we did most of our own cooking. Rental cars are expensive so we used a very good local "uber" called VI Hail, and also the local bus system -- bus stop at the end of our driveway, 2 to downtown.Our hosts and their local manager have been vey attentive -- thanks!Great choice for families on a budget. We loved every minute.

Outstanding location

Everything as pictured. Condo was in the perfic location with wonderful sunrise views from a very large deck. We would stay here every time. Lori was outstanding and very helpfull.

Gret place to stay!

Well-stocked kitchen and AC in every room--what more can you ask for? Apart from some minor cleaning issues, the stay was great. Pool very nice. Quiet area. Friendly workers. The host (Lori) was excellent and very kind--even offering to help when we missed our flight. Would definitely stay again!

First Trip to the Island

It was a bit harder to find than expected but the property was fantastic! So close to everything you will need and want to visit. This was our first visit to the island and we were not disappointed. We found the locals to be very friendly and helpful with recommendations of sites to visit too. Emelyn was very responsive and helpful with pre arrival info and recommendations as well! We stayed in 205c and were very pleased with everything in the unit. The huge deck with sun chairs was a great benefit for us. The beach access was just a short walk from the property and was not directly outside of the gate but the set up of chairs under the palm trees outside of the gate to the small drop off/cliff was a perfect view for relaxing. Even the ground maintenance crew was friendly. The unit did have a washer and dryer which was fantastic for us flying with light luggage. The unit had everything you could need for a long week and then some! The location was perfect with markets and gas stations not far for last minute needs. Would stay again!

We had a good stay at this condo unit. It was a fair price for what we received. The photos made it seem nicer than it was though. It’s pretty outdated, things are pretty rough on the outside big time (probably from the hurricane). The unit was not very clean on the inside. The pool was closed for two days. It was not in the nicest location but it was good enough! If it’s all you can afford then it’s fine! They kindly gave us a late check out. They did not respond on VRBO but did respond to text messages we found out later. They didn’t give us the unit number or gate code until we got there but we managed to get ahold of them in the rain!

Enjoyed one week in April at this place. Great location, quiet, close to downtown and groceries. Emelyn was very responsive on every occasion. loved watching the sunrise from the balcony. There was no issue with smelly seaweed;-)

Loved 205C!

Myself in 2 others stayed in 205C for the last 3 months. Emelyn was very kind and professional throughout our booking process. There is a great view off the porch of the ocean and the condo had every thing you need. The people at colony cove were extremely welcoming as well. I can’t wait to come back!

Not Recommended

We stayed in this property for 2 weeks. The condominium has all the amenities. Great view as well. We needed car rental which was expected. The Patio also looks good and has chairs and table etc. The down side is the smell in the condominium as well as resort. When you turn on AC, you do smell foul smell. The sea weed (Sargassum ) was not cleaned by the resort Management. The foul smelling algae along the shore line was so strong that we were NOT able to use our patio even once. The foul smell was present in Partking lot, Swimming pool area and on the beach. During our 2 weeks stay I did not see anyone sitting on the beach. Occasionally I have seen neighbors resorts cleaning their side of beach but not at the Colony Cove. The walk to beach at Sugar Cove beach was 5 min and they were able to maintain their side of the area. I used to go there to sit in the afternoon. Overall, I do NOT recommend this condominium unless the resort does their job cleaning Sea weed.

Trip with friends

Not what expected, not clean, foul smell (unrelated to the sargassum in the ocean), no direct beach (at least during the sargassum period), not stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, or trash bags, nice pool and pool deck, working appliances, wi-fi, working TVs (but small). Gave us a place to stay after our daily excursions, but definitely get a rental car!

Great view of the island coastline

The view was great. Loved the flowers and palm trees. The pool was easily accessible. The beach was only several feet away. The restaurant was convenient and there was a full kitchen if you wanted to cook. The condo could have been better prepared for guests, though. The major issue was the AC was inoperable in the living room the entire stay and the housekeeper could have done a better job cleaning the condo before guests arrived, i.e. sweeping, dusting and cleaning of bathrooms. Property needed more management supervision of condition in-between guest visits.

3 weeks in a construction zone

Colony Cove is an aging property that is in need of some TLC. The pool area is well kept, but the buildings and grounds are suffering from neglect. There is no beach, and a building damaged in 2017 is just now being renovated. That made our stay unpleasantly noisy. Our unit was clean and well-equipped but needs repairs to floor tiles and kitchen counters. Not our favorite vacation!

Wonderful!

We love the location, it is quiet and free of motors on the water. The snorkeling is right off the shore followed by a dip in a very well maintained pool. The restaurant next door is friendly, convenient and good for great food and beverage.

5 week stay

Everything was good with my stay, I liked that I had a washer and dryer, and that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. There are also two nice grills by the pool. I was down here working so it was nice to be able to cook my own food to take to work. The pool was nice, and the condo really has everything you need! I would stay here again if I come back down.
