Welcome! You can have this duplex all to yourself :) This is a one bedroom, one bathroom duplex that has room for 1 to 3 people. It’s located in the John A. Finch Arboretum close to downtown Spokane (2.2 miles), major hospitals and the airport (4.6 miles). It’s also close to the Fish Lake Trail if you love to run, bike, hike, or experience the outdoors. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, friends, and a weekend getaway.

The space
One bedroom is furnished with 1 queen bed, a dresser, and a closet with lots of hangers

The living room features a sofa that can sleep one person

There is high speed wifi throughout the duplex. There is a TV with free Netflix provided and access to local channels with an antenna. There is no cable.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, blender, toaster, cookware, pots and pans, wine glasses, and a wine opener. There are plenty of dishes and silverware for a nice dinner or a family breakfast. You will also find coffee, creamer, sugar, green tea, hot chocolate, oil, salt, and pepper.

The bathroom is stocked with clean towels and toiletries. It includes toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. Please use all hot irons for your hair in the bathroom. You will be responsible for any damages.

Smoking is only allowed outside. 420 friendly

There is a single lane driveway that can fit 2 cars

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire duplex.

Other things to note
Check-in is after 4pm/check-out is no later than 11am. These times are sometimes flexible depending on the reservations I have that week, just send me a message in advance to ask for an exception.

Pets are NOT ALLOWED.

There is a Ring security camera at the entrance.

PLEASE do not smoke marijuana or tobacco inside the house. There will be an ashtray you can take with you outside. The guests after you are not always as 420 friendly and a lot of them do not appreciate the smell. Thank you!

The place was great and was close to Deaconess Hospital and the airport. I felt at home. The host was great as well. They communicated very well and made sure everything was up to their standards.

Nice little duplex near the arboretum.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. VeeAnn provided chilled bottles of water, chips and coffee. The duplex was very clean and the linen and towels were great. I didn’t cook, but oil and seasonings were provided. The fridge and microwave were super clean and efficient. The coffee maker and stove were easy to use too. My only Complaint was there were a few earwigs, and I hate those bugs even though they are easily disposed of!

Simple but nice

The property is small and simple but very nice and functional. Obviously not a good stay if you’re looking for a nice modern or resort type vacation feeling or in a luxurious location. However, this property was perfect for what I needed. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry very functional. The owner keeps it very clean and communicates very well. Although the location is not necessarily a prime spot, it is quiet and safe.

You'll love it...

VeeAnn is an excellent host. She quickly responds and is a good communicator. The safe, nice, quiet neighborhood is near the Arboretum which is a plus. We stay in this vrbo whenever possible. The kitchen is well stocked and shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, dish soap, hand soap and laundry detergent are provided. That's very helpful since we fly in from the East Coast. The bed and couch are comfortable. Guests have full ability to control heat and air conditioning temperatures. You will definitely enjoy your stay.

The place was very clean, cozy and nice. VeeAnn was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped. The only drawback was the freeway noise and that was pretty minor. We will come back.

Exactly What We Were Promised!

We needed a place for the night in order to attend a fundraising event downtown. However it was NCAA Tournament time and we were out of luck all over town...except for this adorable little place. We'd never stayed in the neighborhood before, but we had absolutely no issues. It was quiet! The property itself was clean and well appointed. It was exactly as promised, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely share this property for others in need of a reasonably priced, close to downtown BUT quiet place to stay. Thank you!

Love staying here

VeeAnn is an excellent host who quickly responds to questions. Her place is well-stocked with olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee, tea bags, water in the fridge, snacks, paper towels, dish and laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner etc... This is a cozy house with driveway parking close to the arboretum too.

Great

Stayed for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Nice place kind of felt like home after a long day of play. Nice to have the washer and dryer to keep her uniform clean and fresh. Couch was good to sleep also. Worked out perfect for just me and my daughter. The host was responsive to any question.

Comfortable & Clean

VeeAnn makes check in & out easy and lives nearby. VeeAnn is a good communicator, checking in to be sure if we had any questions. The home is humble, but very clean with everything we needed for our stay, including all the things needed in the kitchen to make meals. It is a 10 minute walk to a natural area where you can walk. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and bedding. The living room has a comfortable couch where you can recline to watch TV or read. The only downside is that you can hear the freeway traffic, especially if windows are open. (VeeAnn has a little white noise machine that works great, but if you need absolute quiet to sleep it might not work for you.)

Our second time staying here

We enjoy staying at this house near the arboretum. Vee Ann is a great host and good communicator. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The couch is comfy to sleep on if you have a 3rd or 4th person in your group.

Lovely stay

This place was super clean, smelled great and you can tell is very well taken care of. Definitely a great place to decompress and relax. The location is close to the main highway, but with the complimentary white noise machine and fan, which I like to have going at home as well made it really to mask any outside noise. Check-in process was simple and the property owner was super kind and very responsive. The location is about 7min from downtown and is nearby the airport as well. Such a great stay and would definitely stay again!

A Great Little Place

My highest priorities when looking a vrbo are cleanliness and bed comfort. This vrbo is in an older part of town and community, but there was effort made on the inside to make it a viable vrbo. Everything we needed was there,
