Great little place to stay in Waikiki! Close to the shops and beach and the hotel staff was fantastic. The Vrbo host was responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

A Great Space

We were in Honolulu with our adult daughter to attend the wedding of a niece. We liked the spacious bathroom (2 showers and 2 sinks) and the fact that the main bedroom could be closed off from the living room (hide-a-bed). The kitchen is tiny, but very well appointed.

Convenient place, but very noisy on holiday. The business broadcasts were noisy from 5am on holidays, the windows were not very soundproofed, and the engine noise was very loud.

What an amazing place! My husband, teen daughter & her friend stayed very comfortably, the doors to be able to separate the apartment into two spaces was perfect! Only a few blocks from everything, 10/10 recommend 😊

Location location location 🤩

Our stay in 1203 was a home away from home except unlike our home in Canada it was only a few steps to the beach to amazing places to eat and shop The condo had everything you need and a bonus beach chairs ect . The owners were easy to communicate with We had a fabulous time and hope to be back!!!

It was a great place to stay. Just like the photos. It was clean and tidy. Well situated for activities and the beach. Most amenities where within walking distance like the zoo and the beach. Would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Waikiki.

Perfect location, only a block and a half from Waikiki beach. The apartment is just big enough with a tiny kitchen that you can cook easy meals in and a very comfortable bed for your head. You do have a partial view of the ocean too. Great for young couple.

Very comfortable

The rental was comfortable and comfortable. I was surprised that that paint in the rental, after viewing the VRBO photos, was as worn as it was. However, everything else was up to par.

Great location, exactly as pictured. Very clean. Fold out sofa was uncomfortable, i would only recommend it for young kids, definately not an adult. Apartment is perfect for 2 people and has everything you need. We used the beach chairs and umbrella every day so having them on a trolley to wheel to the beach was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

12th Floor Apt 1203

The room we stayed in was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The host excelled in communication, making it easy to check in and address any questions we had during our stay. Inside the room, there was a portable fan that kept the air circulating, along with a vacuum cleaner and a well-stocked collection of kitchen supplies—such thoughtful touches that created an atmosphere of abundance and convenience.Our bathroom was particularly luxurious, featuring both a bathtub and a shower, as well as two sinks, which made it easy for us to get ready without feeling rushed. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of trash bags provided, which was a practical addition that we truly appreciated.One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning views we enjoyed, especially during sunrise and sunset. The colors painted across the sky were simply breathtaking. To add to the convenience, there was a laundry washer and dryer located on the same floor, allowing us to easily manage our laundry without any hassle. Overall, it was a great room that exceeded our expectations in many ways.

Oahu fun

The condo itself was wonderful and better than the description online. The hotel that it is in could use a little work, but it was safe and staff were pleasant. We were able to park our rental there $30 a day so we knew it was safe. The pool bar didnt serve alcohol, so byob. But the location was perfect to th3 beach, shops, dining and highway for other adventures. Will definitely book again

Good location, 1.5 (short) blocks from Waikiki Beach.

Convenient, quiet, comfortable, good amount of space. It is all you need and more. Good views on balcony and other windows. Love the Hawaiian decor. Bed is platform style bedframe but comfortable, I had no issues sleeping as a box spring people-->we both slept well. There was an assortment of pillows to choose from as well. Pool area has a good amount of space keeping in line with standard pool area/size for Waikiki beach rentals. Try "Waikiki Market" for groceries, 5: minute walk, and it is NICE and has slightly better prices and food (to go) than ABC.

Spacious unit in the heart of the action

Property was as described. It is a bit older in an older building and could maybe use a little refresh but it was clean and well-maintained. The queen bed seems smaller than standard but could just be me used to a king lol Owner/manager incredibly responsive; replaced broken beach chairs within an hour! There was a school group across the street that did a very loud and long chant 2 mornings at 7am. Not sure if that is a normal thing. Pool ambiance is nice but hot tub is not very comfortable and temp was inconsistent. Minor issue. Decently stocked and close to everything especially the beach.

Great Location great stay parking an issue

This was a great condo if you don't want to have a car and park on property. It is an old hotel turned condo but the room was great! This does have a very small kitchen but it is well stocked. There are some supplies for the beach. One thing to keep in mind the hotel provides zero extras you may need you need to contact the host. If you have a car parking on site is a huge problem. There are only 8 spots and your car barely fits you better be a confident driver. However there is great parking down the street which is not to bad of a walk away. This place is great literally 2 blocks from the beach!!

Perfect for our needs!

This room was perfect for what we wanted (2 adults & 2 kids) The kitchen is really helpful, the full size fridge is a big plus. Bamboo hotel is perfectly situated! The proximity to the beach is awesome. Beach gear is provided. Nice pull-out couch. The bathroom even has two showers! Spending time on the lanai is great, with a view on the ocean! We had a rental car and parked at the Waikiki Banyan (150$ for a week). We did our grocery at Waikiki Market (on Kuhio, 5 minutes walk) Bamboo hotel related comments: 1 elevator is in repair and the second one failed twice on our journey, so we had to use the stairs to get to the 12th floor. And don't count using the barbecue, we tried and only one burner out of four was working, they should get a new one! Again this is Bamboo Hotel related, not the room owner's fault. Hotel staff was helpful. Mahalo!

Great place close to the beach

We loved staying in the Bamboo Waikiki hotel with this apartment managed by Mark and team. It is an older room that may need some upgrading. But for the price and location that did not worry me what so ever. The staff on the desk were happy to answer questions but remember that any concerns or questions about the property need to go to the property manager group not Bamboo staff. The pool is beautiful. There is not alcohol in the bar near the pool. But they allow you to bring in purchased alcohol from the local shops. It had a full size fridge and small stove top and microwave. The TV in the lounge only has 5 channels but the TV opposite the bed has many more channels. The bathroom had two showers. The water can fluctuate between hot and cold very easily. It didn’t bother our family too much. We would stay here again. Short walk to the beach and main shopping strip of Hawaii. Thank you

Location, location, location!

TLDR; It’s got exactly what you need and you can’t beat the convenience of the location for the price you’re paying. Just completed our week long stay at Mark’s place and we loved it! You are within a very short walk of Waikiki beach, Royal Hawaiian shopping center, and some of the best restaurants in the area. I will say, there are a few cons of the property: 1. Pricey paid parking ($150/wk or $30/d) and it most likely won’t be on the property due to their limited spots. 2. If you care about “luxury” or staying somewhere sparkling and new, this won’t be the spot for you. It is slightly dated and has a few quirks. However - it’s clean, cozy, and does have everything you need for a getaway Hawaii. 3. Hot water in the shower is not consistent. If you fidget with it enough you can get a long hot shower, but that’s not ideal for some. Personally, after sweating all day, a cooler shower is super refreshing and it didn’t negatively impact the stay. The host was fantastic and super responsive leading up to our trip. The property has staff at the front desk that will also be a lot of help if needed. Overall we would 110% return and stay at this property!

The pictures are accurate and we liked the way the space was divided.

The staff at bamboo were very pleasant and made you feel safe. The room was not ready by 3pm and the living room TV does not have cable or anything attached to it for it to work. We had some minor issues with the room when we first arrived and when we contacted the person listed in the room binder, he advised us he is not the property manager and the binder is outdated. We tried contacting through VRBO but very slow to respond and gave me a wrong number to call for help. The 3rd day a nice lady from VRBO emailed back and offered to help but at that point we just dealt with the slow drain in the tub/shower combo, no hot water in the shower only stall, and the TV in the living area turns on but not attached to cable or anything that we could use. The lanai had a nice set up. The place provided boogie boards and beach chairs. Overall it was still a nice room and we enjoyed how the room was divided and the kitchen worked well for our needs. Would recommend if you stay longer than a couple of days is to bring additional paper towels and toilet paper. Also bring your own beach towels.
