Private Lakeview Cabin + Fishing & Trails

Located within Sandy Creek Farms 400+ acres of gorgeous Tennessee countryside. The property includes lots of wildlife and a 20-acre lake stocked for fishing! The perimeter of the property has 10+ miles of trails to enjoy. ATVs and/or golf carts are allowed. Our geo-referenced map will help you navigate through the trails and property. There are two laundry facilities, a citrus greenhouse, and a fitness center. The perfect setting for fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, and those that want to relax!

This cozy, 2-story efficiency cabin with a lake view balcony is enhanced by a picturesque garden surrounded by picket fencing with exquisite landscaping, wooden decks, and a large, screened-in wooden gazebo. A stone fountain and brook allow water to cascade down from the cabin to the lake. The front porch overlooks the lake, while additional decks and stairs lead to the lakeshore.

Inside the cabin, you will find the kitchenette on the main floor, complete with a microwave, coffee maker, crockpot, electric skillet, and more cooking appliances, along with a bathroom with a walk-in shower. For guests requiring a more comprehensive cooking experience, the caterer’s kitchen at The Stables is available to all overnight guests. The second level of the cabin is the living room/bedroom combo with a small balcony on the south side overlooking fields and a large balcony on the north side overlooking the lake. The overly large sofa pulls out to a king bed with a very comfortable mattress.

Just outside of the cabin is a firepit with patio chairs, a private parking area, and a gas grill. The firewood is included during your stay.

If you want peace and quiet, beautiful views and friendly staff members then this is the place to go! My husband and I look forward to returning again this year in the fall. This was by far the best vacation we have ever had.

Beautiful place to stay

We loved staying at the lakeside cabin! Everything was just beautiful. We enjoyed fishing off the deck and relaxing. We caught some brim, bass, and alot of catfish. I also enjoyed the huge hammock. There is a waterfall and patio lights everywhere.

Stunning views and relaxation

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The property is extremely well maintained and looks just like the pictures. My husband and I traveled here for our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for more. My husband caught quite a few fish. We enjoyed sitting on the dock or lying in the hammock. The inside is small and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. There’s a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, portable stove, electric skillet. I didn’t do much cooking but you could if you wanted. TV has DISH network with tons of channels and Sirius XM. It’s not a long drive to Paris, which has several restaurants as well. Perfect getaway. Plan to return!

Great little get away

Cabin was a little small. We wished it had a full bedroom. But it was very clean and the most beautiful spot I have been too!!

Awesome place except for bathroom water/shower smell

The grounds were amazing; it was very peaceful and tranquil. We absolutely loved the water feature that provided a constant waterfall sound. There were grills for us to use and we enjoyed fishing and swimming in the pond. The cabin itself is very small but we weren’t there for indoor time. But the water that comes out of the bathroom sink and out of the shower smells like poop. Literal poop. It was absolutely horrible and stunk up the whole place to the point of gagging. It was so bad that my boyfriend took a shower outside using eight water bottles. He said that the problem was sulfur in the water. This place would greatly benefit from a water purifying system.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the property and water activities, however, we are very sorry for the strong, unpleasant sulfur smell in the water, and the need to shower outside. We were very disappointed to read of the issue as this is unacceptable and not up to our standards. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and strive to make sure that our guests enjoy their time with us. When following up with you during your stay, we were under the impression that everything was going great. Had we known of the issue at the time of your stay, we would have offered to move you to a new cabin, offered you other showering facilities on the property, and comped your entire stay. Given the opportunity, we would have done everything possible to fix the issue immediately. Since reading your review, we have fixed the filtration system and corrected the problem. Again, we apologize for the water issue and inconvenience that you and your husband experienced while staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to enjoy a 5-star experience stay.

Lakeview Cabin

Wonderful, relaxing weekend with a fantastic view. Very peaceful and beautiful landscaping. My only suggestion would be to have two comfortable chairs on the balcony.

Everything and More

A gem of a property with free roam of almost 500 acres. Used the get away as a couples retreat, enjoying the lake access and views that were unparalleled to anything we have experienced. Would stay again and highly recommend to others.

What a FANTASTIC Experience!

We stayed at Sandy Creek over a 3-day weekend. The property was perfect! The check-in and communication with the staff exceeded our expectations. They went far over and above our expectations. This has become one of our favorite getaway options. Can't wait to return! We'd highly recommend this property for a couples weekend, a celebration with friends or even as a way to reconnect as a family.

Hidden paradise

I hate to give this place a good review because I, selfishly, would like for it to stay hidden. The owners have put an incredible amount of work, time, and money into creating a unique oasis. We have already booked our next stay.

Welcome to Sandy Creek Farms and thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us. Our family, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was looking for a place to enjoy a country landscape where we could spend quality time together. This lead us to Springville, TN.

The property was home to a pig farm in the 1950's and a lumbering/ reforesting enterprise in the 1970's. Soon after purchasing the land in 2007, we began making improvements to the property. Land was cleared, roads and trails were built and a large lake was constructed. In 2010 we began building family and visitor buildings, which lead us to the idea of sharing the beauty of this property with others. After many years of planning and building, we finally opened the event center and lodging in 2019.

While staying with us, please enjoy hiking on our network of trails, fishing or picnicking by the lake, strolling through the citrus greenhouse or just savoring some good ole fashion R&R in your cabin. When you explore the property, please appreciate the extensive landscaping, sculptures and abundant wildlife. Also, keep your eye out for some of the original pig structures, abandoned cemeteries and the old railroad bed. No matter what you do, take time out of your stay to view some of the most
beautiful sunsets and sunrises nature has to offer.

We trust you will enjoy the majestic beauty this property has to offer. Relax, unwind and capture the magic of Sandy Creek.
