Welcome to Le Moulin de Chazotte, a 16th century French watermill offering beautiful, family friendly self-catering holiday accommodation near Cognac, France.

Our four exclusive gîtes are brimming with charm and character whilst offering all the modern comforts and facilities to ensure you have a relaxing and rewarding holiday. All gîtes have their own private terrace and also offer access to 12 acres of grounds and facilities, including the large heated swimming pool.

Located in blissful rural tranquillity within the Poitou-Charente region on the French Atlantic coast, we are only 10 minutes away from historic Cognac and a short drive to the nearest village with that all important local boulangerie. This picturesque region is steeped in Roman and Medieval history and is known for its sleepy villages, Romanesque churches, heritage towns, as well as for the famous and delicious Cognac drink of course.

L'Abricotier is located in half of the grand main building with its own separate entrance via an arched doorway at the West end of the mill. With three bedrooms it comfortably accommodates six people.

The gite is named after the wonderful old apricot tree which climbs against the West-facing wall. Formerly the old coach house, it has a split-level ground floor with a charming snug/lounge area a few steps above the kitchen and dining area. L'Abricotier is charming, cosy and provides a great home for a family or group of friends.
