While the location was very good with easy access to grocery stores (2), a bakery, a butcher, cafes, restaurants, a pharmacy, green grocer, metro and a nearby department store (mono prix), it was not made clear in the listing that the second bedroom was not private. It was necessary to walk through the second bedroom to get to the first bedroom. This issue was exacerbated by the fact that there was only one bathroom in the apartment, so anyone in the main bedroom had to walk through the second bedroom at night, disturbing their sleep. Also, the reverse happen when one took a shower, they would have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the shower. Otherwise, the apartment was clean and in good condition and the wifi was strong. Our VRBO host was very responsive when we contacted her.

Underinvested property

The management company is fine, the property itself shows a lack of care. The microwave didn’t work, the internet box had to be replaced. Both of these were handled by the management company in understandable timing. The microwave took longer which I think had to do with owner approval time not them. The chairs in the dining room are in terrible shape and covered by white covers that have also seen better days. We arrived and clearly a proper deep clean had not been done in advance. You need to go through one bedroom to get to another and for some bizarre reason the middle room as a window that is above the built ins that goes into the kitchen. The result is that you can’t turn on the lights in the kitchen if people are trying to sleep in the middle room. Toilet is in the living room which means that the people in the back bedroom can’t pee without waking those in the middle and those in the middle can’t bathe without waking those in the back bedroom. Also, fine print they make you pay additionally for the electricity which was hidden in the Vrbo ad. Great location, could be lovely with a bit of investment.
