Great place for families!

This was a great place for our family beach trip. It is very easy to access the beach or greenway which gave us good options for little kids. We loved the porches and there are lots of rooms which makes it easy for a big group.

I am sorry the trash bins outside were full, we only have trash pickup once a week and some groups leave more trash than others! Carolina Beach

Excellent property for two families vacationing together. Close to the beach (600 steps) and a short drive to groceries or restaurants. Walking distance to shops and boardwalk! Rooms were comfortable and dining room table allowed for everyone to sit comfortably. Definitely a great choice!

awesome

love the house, plenty of room, plus we could grill out and fix our own food and not have to eat out all the time. close to the beach. i washed all my clothes before we left, and I didn't have to do any wash when I got home. All in all, we had a great time. maybe in a couple of years we will rent again. I will recommend it to a friend.

Girlfriend weekend

There were some great things about this home: cleanliness, location, communication, and parking spaces. There were a couple things that were problems. The air condition did not cool the house. We were told they didn’t realize it, but when you have ceiling fans in the bedrooms PLUS floor fans in the bedrooms, it appears they know the air doesn’t work very well. Though we knew there were no beach chairs or beach towels, it was just odd that a beach house wouldn’t have those things available. Overall a good experience.

Hi Judy! We greatly appreciate you letting us know that the A/C was not cooling. We had our service technician in to fix the problem, and it has been remedied. However, I apologize that you were uncomfortable during your stay. The ceiling fans are not in place because our A/C doesn't work, we have ceiling fans because some of the year when it is not tremendously hot, we open the windows and use ceiling fans instead of A/C. In regards to the beach chairs and towels, in the past we provided these items, but they quickly went missing or were broken, left at the beach, etc. Ultimately, I do empathize that it was not 100% what you hoped, and for that, I am sorry. We are already considering restocking our shared beach chairs and hoping they last. Thank you for staying with us!!

The house was great. It was very clean and we were lucky enough to get in early which was convenient for our family. The upper deck cushions and seats were dirty other than that house was a great choice and convenient to beach.

The house was not very clean on arrival. The air vent looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. A couple of the doors were difficult to open and shut. One of the king beds was being held up with a bucket and one of the couches had a broken leg which could not be sat in. The air conditioning worked amazing down stairs, but the house was very hot upstairs. A few other minor things, 1 being if you have a large family bring laundry soap because you only get 1 towel and 1 wash cloth each so you will have to wash them several times with a very limited number of laundry pods provided. It would be nice to have an outside wash stall because the beaches do not provide one, and that would eliminate a lot of sand in the house.

Excellent Clean Home

This house was the perfect set up for myself and my family. Quick walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart for the week and was easy to just zip around pretty much anywhere we wanted to go from the house. Hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to reply. House was very clean and well equipped for our vacationing needs. Definitely felt like a home away from home.

Family Vacation

The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean, great location, fit every need we had. The hosts were easy to contact and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in Carolina Beach.

Lovely house but disgusting dirty !

So excited with the previous reviews we plan our family vacation at this house, how disappointed after a long drive to arrive at disgusting dirty house. I called the owners and assured me that the house was clean, so I sent them pictures and they reimburse the fee of the cleaning but I have to clean all around to be able to have my family getting in the house. They need to do some updates. Not A Way To Started Our Family Vacation!!!!!! Definitely not coming back or recommend to anyone 👎

Linda and her guests all arrived during a rain storm. Shortly after arriving, she reached out to express that there was sand and dirt on the floors. We have a mop and vacuum available for any messes that are made by the guests during their stay, which is totally expected because sandy floors can't be helped when coming in and out at the beach! Nonetheless, she did share many photos of the house, and a few photos showed areas that our cleaning team should have paid better attention to, so we refunded the cleaning fee and sent our housekeepers out the next day. We ended up having both our cleaning company and handyman out to the house twice during Linda's stay due to Linda requesting extra maintenance. My crew was inundated with messages and requests from Linda. Refunding the cleaning fee, and answering her many requests, still did not leave Linda a happy customer. Sometimes these encounters occur and people cannot be pleased. But I assure you, we will always try and do so very promptly! Your relaxation and comfort is truly our top priority. This is your vacation. We do not want you to worry about maintenance, cleaning, or being inconvenienced. We hope all of our guests have a very good trip and sincerely feel terrible that Linda and her family had an unpleasant experience.

Great time, very clean

We had a great week in the house! We ranged in age from 77 years old to 4 months old and everyone was comfortable and happy. Kitchen is well stocked and includes all the basics. Loved the front porches. House is a short walk to the beach but we had lots of stuff so we rented a golf cart, which made it even more fun.
