Beautiful South-Facing House with Large Deck, Comfy Rooms, Lake & Mountain Views

Warm, open, and bright with stunning views of Mount Benson and Long Lake, this beautiful home is peaceful, clean, and comfortable.

Grouse House has 4 spacious bedrooms, two of which are occupied by me (the owner) as a bedroom and office. The other 2 bedrooms are available to people needing a comfy and fully-equipped place to stay in Nanaimo.

I will be away Sept 29-Oct 21 and Oct 23-Nov 13. So the entire place will be privately yours during that time, with the exception of 2 nights when I'll briefly be home to unpack and repack.

The house is beautifully situated on a cliffside with an expansive deck that makes you feel like you're floating in the tree canopy. Evenings on the deck around the fire bowl are the perfect way to end the late summer days, and once the cold sets in this fall you'll enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the remote-controlled propane fireplace. You can program the fireplace to make the house nice and warm when you wake up, too.

The house is well equipped and very comfortable with laundry, dishwasher, ample parking, wifi, gorgeous gardens, and tons of natural light from sunrise to sunset.

Numerous wildlife also visit - birds, squirrels, deer - and you can watch hummingbirds bathe in the water fountain in the front garden.

Most amenities are within a couple kms, including grocery stores, clinics, hardware stores, coffee shops, restaurants, etc., as are numerous green spaces to enjoy.
