Lovely Stay

Very clean, quiet, warm and cozy, and quite private with bird song at sunset and ducks socializing during the day in the pond below. Great kitchen amenities and comfortable beds. This was a wonderful two bedroom surprise to find in Nanaimo!

Easter weekend Stay

We had an excellent stay. The basement suite is well set up and very comfortable and clean. It was nice having a kitchen to use and not rely on meals out or order in. The extra touches - like the complimentary things - were the icing on the cake. What a wonderful time we had. Thank you

Lovely, well-equipped suite with an excellent host!

The property was extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchen! We were pleasantly surprised that the host even had tupperware containers and ziplock bags available for us to use. There were also some spices, cooking oils, and salt & pepper provided for our use. As we cooked all of our meals during our trip rather than eating out, this made the process so much easier. There was also a barbecue and an outdoor table for our use, and it was lovely to be able to sit on the back patio and enjoy the sunset at dinner. Additionally, our host was very responsive and helpful, and quickly replied to any questions we had!Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property!!

Good central location, enjoyed bird watching from backyard as there is a marsh at bottom of the hill. Great appliances, even washer & dryer, enjoyed the snacks & drinks left for us. Comfortable beds & bedding. Had to wait for host to reset wifi a couple different times as it wasn’t working. Would have liked a welcome and walk through when we arrived. One night host had a noisy get together until 11pm that kept me awake. Other than that had a comfortable, quiet stay.

Hi there! I’m originally from Romania and have lived in Canada since 1997. Now, I call beautiful Nanaimo on Vancouver Island home. Hosting my Airbnb has been such a joy—I love meeting people from around the world and helping them explore this amazing place. When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me cooking, enjoying wine, fishing, boating, or hiking. I’m all about creating great experiences for my guests and making sure they feel right at home!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this neighborhood in Nanaimo because it’s the perfect mix of natural beauty and convenience. We’re surrounded by stunning coastal views, lush parks, and great hiking trails, yet we’re still close to shops, restaurants, and all the essentials. It’s peaceful, but there’s always something to explore, whether it’s heading out on the water or strolling through local markets. What I love most is the laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home instantly.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes our property unique is the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and that cozy, home-away-from-home feel. We’ve put a lot of love into creating a space that feels welcoming and relaxing, with thoughtful touches throughout. The location is another big plus—whether you want to explore the coast, go hiking, or enjoy the local scene, everything is just a short drive away. Guests always rave about how peaceful it is here, and we couldn’t agree more!
