Lovely property, in a quiet cul de sac with a walkway to the beach/estuary almost directly opposite.Handy covered outdoor entertaining area with bbq and seating.We did not stay long enough to use the kayaks, but wish we had had more time!A short drive to local excellent restaurants and supermarket.Plenty to explore in and around Mangawhai!

We had a great stay at Bek’s Retreat at Mangawhai Heads. The beds were comfortable and the shower was really good. There was everything one needed and it was very peaceful. The host, Annette, was quick to come and help with the TV and she was friendly and easy to get on with. Hope to return in the not too distant future.

Fantastic stay had. Only there for one night but wish it was longer. The space was perfect for our group of 3 as was the location. Only a short walk to the water. Really had good to get the kayaks out but u fortunately the weather and time didn’t allow.Will definitely be back!

According to my wife Elizabeth and Sister vising from England, the holiday bach was just perfect for our stay. They couldn't of wished for anything better. Beds were so comfortable and it was so peaceful and quiet. The only let down was it rained on our last day. The beach walks was great. Look forward to visiting again.
