Deep Water Dock -two story! Bring your boat! Cozy pet friendly cottage

We have water! The lake is down quite a bit due to drought but we still have plenty of water under our dock - about 13-15 feet off the back of the dock. Quiet family & dog friendly home on Lake Hartwell with a large deck and two level boat dock. Very deep water (23 feet at dock when lake is full) means not worrying about summertime water drops and no touching your feet on the bottom when swimming and no muddy water! One jet ski port for keeping your water craft out of water and secure during your stay. Bring your boat too, there is plenty of room to tie up to the dock! There is a small boat ramp that is located in same cove and very easy to get to (Port Bass boat ramp). The spacious upper dock is furnished with cushioned furniture and sunshade. Kayaks are also available to be used to explore our large and quiet cove. The large 20'x30' deck overlooks the lake while keeping dogs and small children secure with gates and fencing. Multiple tables with sunshades, grill, and mosquito lamps will keep you comfortable while grilling out lunch or dinner. Full size washer and dryer along with two full size refrigerators. In addition the house is equipped with central air and smart TV. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds, and living room has a queen size pull out sofa bed. Concrete parking area is 35'x50' so there is room for your vehicle and trailer. Fast fiber WiFi included. There are multiple State and Federal parks in the area with hiking and biking trails. We are only 30 minutes to Clemson University and one hour to University of Georgia.

We are about a 10 minute boat ride to Harbor Light Marina where there are boat rentals available. There is also a lakeside restaurant, Tilly's, there at the marina that we love to take a quick boat ride for a bite to eat and a cold beer. Level 2 car charger available.

Great place to get some good swimming in off a great dock in quiet cove. Had a lot of fun. House was clean and we didn’t run into any issues with it. Our pup enjoyed lounging on back porch.

Great cozy place on a quiet cove. The dock is a really nice spot to swim, kayak, and paddleboard from. Huge deck with a grill is also really nice to use. Will definitely consider a return trip!

This is a great space for our family of 5 with our dog. We are repeat customers because Peter is a great host wanting us to feel at home during our stay. The back deck saw lots of family dinners and game nights while the double decker dock provided fun by the water. Our boys caught fish, we floated, we jumped, we sat and took in the peaceful cove. We would highly recommend Boomerang Cottage for anyone looking to relax on the lake!

Property was really nice especially for a lake house. Dock was equipped with everything you could need. Kayaks were a nice touch! Kitchen was FULLY stocked as well as bathroom, towels, laundry and cleaning supplies. Fire pit was perfect for s’mores. Nice driveway with ample parking for several cars. TV was loaded with apps for all the usual viewing. Host Peter was amazing. Definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was spotless upon arrival and matched the listing perfectly. This was the perfect getaway for our family, the most everyone spent time on the dock, fishing and sun bathing. fished off the dock. The cottage was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen supplies. I would definitely stay again.

This is our 4th time at this cozy of place. We love the house, deck, dock and cove. It has everything we need. Our kids look forward every year for the best week of the year. Peter is very responsive and we never had any issues. Looking forward 2027 already. The boys have caught tons of fish this year. While the lake water was down the dock was still in the water with plenty of depth to jump from the dock. We love this place.

The property was very clean and had beautiful views of the lake. Lots of deer which I enjoyed seeing on my daily walks. Weather was marginal while we were there so we enjoyed the comforts of the inside a fair amount. Restaurants were sparse in the area but we found a few and didn’t go hungry. Had a relaxing stay.

Our stay at Boomerang Cottage was delightful! My husband and I were looking for a relaxing lake getaway and are very pleased with this rental. Our host was extremely helpful, responsive, and eager to help us with any needs. The house is small but very clean, organized, and attractively decorated.. We found everything we needed in the spotless kitchen. We had a large deck at house level and a two-level dock available to us right on the lake. The weather was quite hot but we were quite comfortable in the house with the very effective air conditioning. And there was plenty of parking. This property is great for a laid-back vacation or a fun swimming/fishing/boating family trip.

Peter and jennifer were great hosts.They even brought over an outdoor heater because it was a bit chilly, and we were able to barbecue outside with the heater totally above and beyond. Would most definitely stay again.

The lake views are gorgeous from the back deck and especially from the top level of the double decker dock! The dock is perfectly situated in a beautiful deep water cove with little boat traffic and no docks across the way.
